New Install of CS5.5 - installs all but InDesign

With apologies for the long text below - I've attempted twice to install CS5.5 on my computer and each time it will load completely, except for InDesign.
Here are the error codes and warnings - and I've submitted a package of information via the Support Advisor. I had this same problem with CS5 and was never able to resolve the problem despite repeated attempts at renaming files etc. Can you help?

Both documents seem to be indicating that you have issues with your permissions. If you have completed the steps in both documents and are still having difficulties you may want to try the installation in a root user account - Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1528.

That was a good start. Need one more helpful hint. I just found the Adobe DVDs. It is actually Creative Suite 5 Design Standard. It would be nice to put on a box without a DVD player. Can you please provide me with a download link for CS5 DS?

If you are entering your serial number and being told you have used up your activations, you will need to contact Adobe to have your activation count reset

How do perform a new install of iTunes on C drive, but locate the library on a second internal drive?

I realize this topic has been kind of beat to death, but I'm not finding exactly the information I'm searching for. There is a lot of information about splitting libraries, but I want to do a new install, and have my media located on a separate drive, with nothing but the software on the C drive.
I have a pretty massive music library (noting new or special about that), so an new install of iTunes is always a huge chore. Like many other users in posts I've read with similar questions, my C drive is SSD (also have another dedicated to something else entirely), and so I have purchased a standard spinning drive to handle my iTunes media, and externals for everything that isn't meant for iTunes. Basically, I need the library database to be located on my 'E' drive (let's say), and I will move most of my files manually. I just need iTunes to find them after doing so, and then I'll simply resync my iPhone to the new setup. I have a few reservations about that, but that is a different topic.Right now, I just need to get iTunes installed and have it recognize/find media on a separate drive. Also, I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit, in case that is relavant.
Sorry if there are a million thread with the same info, but all I was finding was how to split the library, and that's not at all what I want to achieve. Thanks in advance!

I've started another discussion because installing this newest version of iTunes has caused problems like I've never encountered.
- I did a fresh install as I intended (new PC running Win 7 64-bit). Installation is smooth, and opens fine. Then I create the new library on "I" drive, iTunes then stalls when opening. I just tried this again, and it has been unresponsive for ~10 min, not fully open.
- I see the new library just fine when I peek in the "I"drive.
- In a previous attempt, I used an existing library file, iTunes still stalls, though it loaded the content. It just freezes when I enter the store. The content loaded fine. Still, couldn't access new material or materials I've purchased and won't download after installing and trying to access iTunes store.
-each time I try, I unstall every connected program to iTunes, even removing items from registry.
I'm seriously perplexed. I've been using iTunes since 2005 and have never had any kind of issue like this. this PC is a gaming rig. Top of the line components all the way. I even cancled overclock settings to make sure that wasn't the culprit. Still no joy. I had iTunes installed on this machine about 3 months back, but since "C" drive is SSD, I uninstalled until I recently purchased a standard HD specifically for media content. While writing this, it just brough up the tutorial. I click an option (iTunes in the Cloud) just to see if it moves ahead. It does nothing. I have to minimize the browser to access. Apple no longer offers support - they want me to pay to help with free software for which I've already spent loads of money on for content. This is absolutely insane. What has changed in the last few months to make this software behave this way? Previous versions HAVE worked on this machine. I simply couldn't contain the library on my drive. No help was offed on my other post. I'm desparate at this point. Please. Someone from the community or Apple help me. I've got literally several thousands of dollars of media that I cannot access on my PC. ****, the OS is lean and I barely have any software installed. This makes no sense at all. Synced our new ipod nano today to itunes. I don't know what happened but now all but itunes store purchases are in the library, my playlist is gone as well as all the music I had downloaded from my CD's. The iphone 5 still has everything on it but not on my computer. Frustrating!! Now I'm scared to sync my phone, thinking I may lose all of my library off there as well. How do I get my library back on to my computer so I can transfer that music to my ipod?

Look into iTunes Match, a service from Apple that uploads your music in itunes to the cloud (not icloud) so you can download it to other devices.

This one is very easy to explain—and solve.
The Adobe updater in CS5 and earlier versions of Photoshop was and remains a totally useless, unreliable piece of cr@p. The hapless Adobe installer and updater team in India did not get their act together until version CS6, then went back to their usual incompetence with Photoshop CC and CC2014.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with your Photoshop installation and you are doing nothing wrong yourself.
What you're going to have to do, is locate, download and install the update you need yourself, following the instructions on the download page to the letter.

Of course, ignore the idiotic recommendation that appears there to try to use Help > Updates. We already know that doesn't work.

Installed Photoshop CS5 in Design Premium, but cannot install Photoshop 64-bit that comes with it

I've Creative Suite Design Premium and everything installed perfectly including Photoshop. However, the 64-bit Photoshop has fatal errors when installing and ceases. I've a new Windows 7 Computer and this problem is persistent. Can anyone help me? Here is the error:

It won't let me install Photoshop CS5.1 Extended Edition, but it says it has

I bought the student edition of Photoshop CS5.1 online maybe a month ago and I still can't actually use the program. I run the intstallation program and it notes that it has already been installed because I've been through this quite a few times but I continue with the installation anyway. When it's done loading it gives me a thany you message that says intallation is complete. I press done, but when I access the file in applications, the image is transparent and has a don't enter sign through it. When I click that I get a message that says "You can't open the application Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 because it may be damaged or incomplete."
To note: Mac OS X Version 10.7.2
I was using a free trial of photoshop CS5 in the beginning of summer

You need to remove the trial prior to installing the purchased version. You can find the uninstaller inside the Utilities folder and Adobe Installers. Remove the software and then try your installation again.

I inserted my brand new ADOBE Photoshop CS5 Extended installation disk, and nothing happens.

I got my education code online, but when I put the disk in, absolutely nothing happens.

Simply open the drive/ volume and run the setup application.

I'm attempting to load CS5 Design Premium on my Mac which is running OSX Version10.6.8 and I can load all the programs except InDesign.
Here's the message I get:

e*proudfoot we don't have anything actionable in the error which you have currently posted. I would recommend running the Adobe Support Advisor to automatically review your installation logs and attempt to discover a solution.

Installed Photoshop CS5 but it appears camera raw DID NOT install in Bridge

It appears Camera Raw didn't install in CS5 Bridge as all ACR functions in bridge are greyed out. I've been on hold for Adobe Support for over 2.5 hours over two days and after trying to use their "we'll call you back feature" which just rang for 18 minutes, I've given up on them. Does anyone have any suggestions. Camera Raw works fine from inside Photoshop but won't display any thumbnails inside Bridge.

I suspect you're frustrated, but in order to help forum members are going to need more info about your system, other Adobe products installed, etc.
