New Installation Lightroom V5 on another PC and new registration

I just bought Adobe Lightroom V5 on Ebay
The seller said that the program had already been installed
Can I install it on my PC and register the license key at Adobe?
Or are there Problems ?

If the person who sold it did it legitimately then you should be able to install and register . They need to havd transferred the license to you...

If you have it as part of Creative Cloud, then install it via adobe.com otherwise install it from the same media you used for the laptop. Note that you can have it installed on both the desktop and the laptop as long as you only use one machine at a time.

If I open a PDF doc in a new tab and then try and close the tab with ctrl-w it will try and close all tabs unless I switch to another tab and back again.

If I open a PDF document in a new tab, say http://support.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100146419, and then try and close the tab using ctrl-w, I get the message warning me about closing all tabs. If I switch to another tab and then back to the PDF document and then hit ctrl-w, it will just close that one tab and not all tabs.

I've just been playing around and I set dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to true and now it closes the PDF document but not the tab. I have to do ctrl-w again to close the tab. However, leaving that set to true ruins the scroll mouse functionality as Acroread seems to want it all to itself.

You may wish to try the following:
Press and hold the menu and the up button simultaneously on the remote for six seconds, the Apple TV should then begin to cycle through the various resolutions available to it at 20 second intervals.. You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. The 4G/iOS 6 does not have an Activation Lock. That started with iOS 7.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Select the saved book in the Collection panel.
Go to Grid View [ G ] and select all the images [Cmd/Ctrl][A]
File>Export as Catalog and store on media you can use to transfer
Bring this catalog onto your computer
File>Import from another catalog and bring the transitory catalog into your master catalog.
It should bring the images, your collections (including your book) and other settings into your own catalog.

Nope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

I have an airport extreme and express setup. My extreme is in my 2nd floor office with windows facing the water. My dock is about 250 ft away down a very steep hill. I have the express about 100 ft down the hill in an electrical waterproof box attached to a tree as high as I could install. The signal is weak and I'm thinking I might have to buy another express. Any thoughts on the best setup for me. I ultimately want to control speakers(hard wired in) down at the dock with my iphone. I have a receiver coming with airplay built in.

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

There is so much distortion on some of the music I have to play it with QuickTime to get a "clean" track.

Yep... if you have a disk you can instead of using that just d/load the latest version from Adobe and use the serial number. Saves updating the disk version but either will work ok!!

You can copy your image file from you PC to your Mac over your home network or via DVD/CD. You can not install you PC CS5.1 version on you Mac. Its not compatible with MAC OS. You would need a MAC version of CS5.1 and Mac version serial number to activate it. Adobe no longer markets CS5 so you most likely will not be able to pay for a platform switch media install.
