New instances of SAP BO by XML input

Hi, experts,
          Is it possible to input new instances to a Standard SAP BO by using XML input of Service Integration?
          I am trying  but still can't figure it out.
          If the input is possible, please share me some documentation or blog posts.
          Or any other tips. Every help is appreciated.
Best Regards,
May T.
ps.This is a little bit urgent, please help.

Hi, Tim ,
     Thanks for both answers
      I want to create new instances of SalesOrder.
      I found there is one option.
      There is a button on SalesOrder  Work Center , "New Sales Order from EXCEL".
     Is that what you meant in Number 1??
     If it is, I still have the log in error when I log in to the SAP Add-On in EXCEL.
     Please refer to this link for log on error.
     The specified item was not found.
Regards,
May T.

  • Cannot logon to a new instance with SAP*

    We installed a ECC60 but unfortunatelu we loose the psw used during sapinst.
    THis psw has been used for all the users, included the SAP* and DDIC* users.
    Now the installation is finished but we are not able to logon in SAP.
    We deleted the rows for SAP* in USR02 and USR01, but the system continue to refuse the logon with psw 'PASS' for SAP*.
    We restarted the Oracle instance too but nothing changed.

  • Installing Oracle TEXT and XML DB Components on New Instance

    I was told this may be the best place to ask my quesion
    I have set up a New Instance or Oracle on a Solaris Unix box that already had Oracle 10g installed.
    The instance was created fine, however I need the Oracle Text Component and XML DB Component installed as well.
    Those are not installed with this instance. They are installed on the other instance on the box that was setup when oracle was first installed.
    How can I add these components to this new instance?
    DBCA was not used when the instance was created. The DBA here does not care for this tool.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    the installation of XMLDB is described in the XML manual: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14259/appaman.htm#sthref2372
    the installation of Text is described on Metalink in document 280713.1.
    A nice document to start is on Metalink, it is document 472937.1. It gives Oracle components and the links how to install the components on different versions of Oracle.

  • Problems when creating a new instance of an Input parameter for a REM

    I am working in a small demo which calls a Remote Enable Function Module in order to read data from the back end system. Since the function module I need to call ("BP_BUPA_SEARCH_BY_USER") is not Remote Enable I created a copy of it and made it Remote Enable ("Z_BUPA_SEARCH_BY_USER"). I have created the model within webdynpro without any problems but when my application reaches the line where I create a new instance of the object Z_Bupa_Search_By_User_Input (see below the source code), just before to call the remote function, the application stops there. I have exactly the same code in another bapi calls and it works fine. I am wondering if my problem has anything to do with the fact the function module i am calling is the function module I created. Any advice is very welcome.

  • Problem in sending XML input as String in BPEL

    Hi,
    We have a BPEL flow (assign, invoke, assign) which takes an XML input as String.
    <RegisterCustomerOnVAS><CustomerID>100</CustomerID><MSISDN>9999999</MSISDN><CustomerName>sanjeev</CustomerName><customerInfo>new user</customerInfo></RegisterCustomerOnVAS>
    Assignment is doing fine, but when Invoke calls partner link, the input is getting parsed and only the first text value (eg 100) is getting passed to the partner webservice instead of the entire XML as string.
    Can any one please help us in fixing in this problem.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You should watch your assign activity (maybe a bad assigment level in copy rule). I think the probem is there.

    Hi Suraj,
    That option is not available in FTP mode..
    This option is applicable only for the File adapter. If you enter a value in this field when configuring the sender FTP adapter, it will have no effect.
    Yes, you're right !!
    Are you sure that the message is not getting picked in half-way
    Now, at this time, I can't see the XML data in the CC monitoring because the tool shows only the recent polling execute in the last 10 minutes. If the error recurs, I will check the payload of CC.
    How can I solve the problem with reading incomplete file (FTP mode)?
    ...Meanwhile I will try with Full cache refresh.
    Thanks

  • Cannot find new instances in the workspace

    I use BPM Standalone 10g and Studio 10g.
    I create a process without a global creation activity and deploy as well as publish it in the BPM Standalone.
    The process just has one activity named Interactivejcooper. Its main task is set to Method.
    I also create a JAVA PAPI to create new instances of this process. It can create new instances.
    However, I cannot find all new instances created by PAPI in the workspace.

  • Does PID loop transfer values to new instance

    Greetings Everyone,
    I'm a new forum user, but I've been using Labview for about three years now.
    I have an application that uses PID VIs in multiple cases of a case structure.  Each case structure passes a different set of setpoints, gain schedules, limits, ect to the new instance of the PIDvi.  What I'm wondering is this:  When I switch cases to the new case structure, does all the integral and derivative information get lost in the shift registers of the old PID instance, or does labview keep them in memory and pass them to the new instance?  If it kept it in memory it would be a great help, becasue there would be less upset in my PID loop.  If not, then I'm going to have to pass a cluster of that information into the new instance...which I'd rather not do to save on system requirements (real time system).
    Thanks for the input
    Grub

    Using the shift register will only work if you make the VIs not reentrant. In any other case, you will need some means of global data storage. I think the most memory efficient is LV2 Globals (also known as Functional Globals), but I haven't tested it, and I know of some benchmarks that showed that the fastest is single element queues globals.
    A single element queue global is a queue with the size of 1 where you always remove the element from the queue when doing an operation. This locks any other calls to the queue, because it's empty, and they will have to wait until you place the element back in the queue.
    You can search for the other terms to find some documentation about them.

  • Creating new instances of MDBs at runtime

    I am creating an application with a single input point (messages on a JMS Queue). The application needs to be multi-threaded, but would like to process the messages sequentially based on the message type.
    For example, a message of type A and a message type B can be processed simultaneously, but only 1 message of type A can be processed at a time. So if the application is processing a message of type A, and it receives another type A message, it must complete the first message before processing the second message.
    What I would like to do is have a single MDB (called the dispatcher MDB) that listens on the input point (JMS Queue). The dispatcher MDB calls onMessage() which will look at the message type and the forward to another JMS Queue based on the type. For example, if message type is A, send to Queue A, else if message type B, send to Queue B and so on. Each queue would have a MDB instance servicing the messages. In order to process the messages sequentially on each queue, the pool size for each MDB would be 1.
    My problem is that I don't know how many message types there are, this is decided at runtime.
    How can I create the Queues and register MDB at runtime?
    After some research, I have found the ability to create the Queues using JMX. But, I cannot seem to find details on how to create a register an MDB and tell it to listen on a particular Queue. Has anyone had any experience doing such a thing?

    OK, i have some code similar to below, where I want to
    create a new instance of the class BookRecord which
    takes parameters from Book b, which is an instance if
    the class Book.
    //This is code from the Libraray class
    public void addBookRecord(Book  b, String author,
    String title)
    bookHolder  = new BookRecord(b, author, title);
    }Now this creates a new BookRecord object that has an
    author and title which refer to the Book b. Now when i
    invoke the method again, choosing the same object for
    b as i did last time it creates a second BookRecord
    object, when I just want it to overwrite the values of
    the previous BookRecord object. how can i do this
    simply?
    Thanks in advanceWell I am not quite sure if I understood.
    But refering to what you wrote I would say:
    //This is code from the Libraray class
    public void addBookRecord(Book  b, String author, String title)
            if(bookHolder.getBook() != b)
               // Not the same book object
               bookHolder  = new BookRecord(b, author, title);
             else
                // same book object
                bookHolder.setAuthor(author);
                book.setTitle(tile);
    As I said may be totally not what you are looking for.

  • XML Input - Business Config. Object

    Hello everyone,
    I'm having some problems using XML input files to create instances of my custom B.O.
    Here is the code for my B.O.:
    businessobject SkillBO {
            [Label ("Skill ID")][AlternativeKey]element ID:ID;
      [Label ("Contact ID")] element contactID:BusinessPartnerInternalID;
      [Label ("Primary Skill")]element mainSkill:MAINSKILLSBCOCode;
      [Label ("Secundary Skill")]element subSkill:SUBSKILLSBCOCode;
      [Label ("Skill Level")] element level:SkillLevelCode;
      element nextAvaibleID:IntegerValue;
      association ToBusinessPartner to BusinessPartner;
    As you can see the "mainSkill" and "subSkill" elements are of a codelist datatype. This codelist is generated by a Business Configuration Object.
    I also created Business Configuration Sets to provide values for these elements.
    I don't know what values to put in my Excel-file for these elements. I've tried the code, the actual value, etc. ...
    But every time I try to upload it (after converting the Excel to XML of course) nothing happens.
    For some reason I can't attach the XML, XLS or XSD...
    If you need more information, feel free to ask.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Glenn

    Here are some screenshot of my main -and sub skill BCC:
    What should I put in the "value"' field in my excel? The ID or the actual value? (1 or ERP)

  • XML input: Node

    hi experts.
              I can't create an XML input file for my custom BO with node items.
              When I export the XML file from the schema, a warning pops up showing that it is not exportable.
              Is it because of the schema that I created from Service Integration?
    Regards,
    May T.

    Hello Fred and thank you very much for your help!
    That is exactly what I did.
    Here is the code of my staging Expense report, the dummy BO:
    import AP.Common.GDT as apCommonGDT;
    import AP.ExpenseReimbursementManagement.Global as ERM;
    businessobject StagingExpenseReport {
            element MyInputrow: ID;
            element MyExpenseReportID: ExpenseReportID;
            element MyEmployeeID: EmployeeID;
            element MyExpenseReportTypeCode: ExpenseReportTypeCode;
            element MyPeriod: UPPEROPEN_LOCAL_DateTimePeriod;
            element MyDescription: LANGUAGEINDEPENDENT_EXTENDED_Text;
            element MyReferenceExpenseReportReceiptID: ID;
            element MyReceiptTypeCode: ExpenseReportExpenseTypeCode;
            element MyReceiptCategoryCode: ExpenseReportExpenseCategoryCode;
            element MyAmount: Amount;
            element MyPaymentAmount: Amount;
            element MyNetAmount: Amount;
            element MyReceiptDate: Date;
            element SameExpenseReport: Indicator;
    But with this BO structure you can only create one Item/Receipt in each Staging Expense report. [1-1] relationship as everything is in the Root node.
    So for example, in order to get a standard expense report with 2 receipts, I would need to create two instances of my Staging/dummy BO from the XML, each with one receipt. And using the ABSL to find which dummy BO goes to which Expense Report.
    Am I mistaking or I understood well?
    Because the thing is we cannot XML upload a child node in a custom BO neither if I got it right.
    Thank you very much for your attention.
    Best regards.

  • Creating a new instance of a member class?

    I'm writting a serialization library for a college project and I have a problem with deserializing an object which class contains a member class. A rough example:
    class Outer{
         class Member{
              double d =0;
         public Member member =new Member();
    }Most basically I tried to get a new instance of the Member class in order to get the double field, change it's value, then use that new instance as a field of an object of the Outer class.
    Field f = Outer.class.getDeclaredField("member");
    f.setAccessible(true);
    f.getClass().newInstance(); Both this and the Constructor method throw an exception:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InstantiationException: java.lang.reflect.Fieldpointing at the line with newInstance().
    Is there anything I can do to create an object of a member class? And if not then taking into account that I have to deserialize the Outer object from an XML file what could be the alternative?

    The error message already gives you a hint that it's not class Outer.Member you're instantiating there (review the API docs)...
    import java.lang.reflect.*;
    public class Outer{
      public static void main(final String[] args) {
        final Field f = Outer.class.getDeclaredField("member");
        f.setAccessible(true);
        final Constructor ctor =
                f.getType().getDeclaredConstructor(new Class[] { Outer.class });
        final Object outer = new Outer();
        final Object member = ctor.newInstance(new Object[] { outer });
        // set member.d
        f.set(outer, member);
      class Member{
        double d =0;
      public Member member =new Member();
    }

  • SAP Business Connector XML File processing

    Hi All,
    we're using SAP Business Connector to process XML Files (from NON-SAP system).
    XML-Files are mapped to IDOCs and sent to our sap-system in order to create purchase orders.
    Let's say we have 3 Purchase Orders (XML) in our SAP BC input directory,
    the first purchase order has a header text (customer field), the following 2 dont. After processing the xml-files all 3 Idocs have the same header text of the first purchase order.
    How can i change this behaviour?
    Regards
    REA

    Hello Ramy,
    You have to check this logic of t BC. if you want to check the Idocs then goto WE02 in SAP.
    if you are using message type PORDCR1 then check segment E1BPMEPOTEXTHEADER or PORDCR thne check segment E1BPEKPOTX
