New iOS 7.1 keyboard font is giving me a headache!

I don't think I am alone in saying the new 7.1 keyboard key font is seriously awful compared with ios7 version which was refined and easy on the eyes, now it's harsh, clunky, garish, blocky and horrible to use! Its spoilt using my iPad and iphone! I get a headache now after using it for over 5 mins too What are you thinking Apple? PLEASE PLEASE put a font type option or dark keyboard option on an URGENT update, honestly it is that bad I can hardly stand using it.
Anyone else feel the same?
And yes Bold is turned off.

I have, and I adjusted to the change. Problem solved.
if any other user has a relevant comment on how to be able to look at the keyboard without getting a headache and make it usable again, I'll be happy to hear them.
You cannot change the keyboard. It is what it is.
And I'll appreciate a more qualified answer than to go with Windows or Android. Thanks
Well, with Android you can install custom keyboards. There are many to choose from. That will indeed solve your problem. I think that is indeed a qualified answer.

Seperate text size modification is no longer available in Safari Reafer.
Use Settings.
Settings >General > Text Size

Easy, no need to be harsh. I might not be a Level 9  Discussions user, but I’ve been an Apple Technician for more than a decade now. So believe me, I know what I’m talking about. Be it OS X Server or emptying the Trash. But even I come here from time to time to learn from others. Well, back to topic and being a little more specific:
The 'My Info' setting always belongs to the first iCloud account you add to an iOS device. In this account you create at least 1 contact, the one you will be using for 'My Info'. You then do the same on your other iOS device using NOT the same iCloud account, of course. You only need to enable contacts syncing in iCloud preferences for these primary accounts. From here on you can use differing 'My Info' on your 2 iOS devices without a problem.
But you may know that you can use more than one iCloud account at a time. Only the primary one will offer all iCloud options like Photostream. But what they all offer is contacts, calendars, etc. So if you intend (and I did) to share these 2 between your devices you can add them using a second iCloud account to both of your iOS devices. This makes it 3 accounts all in all. You could even go further and add another one just for 'Find my iPhone' if you like.
I would’ve used the built-in sharing of Calendar.app instead, but Contacts.app does not (yet) offer sharing contacts with others. That’s why I went with the third iCloud account as a secondary account to both iOS devices.
Apple of course recommends using just one Apple ID for everything to make it easier. But in some scenarios this just won’t cut it, which is even described in one of their support documents.
I hope that now you have an idea what I’ve done…

Tried to delete apps and music using itunes whilst iPad connected. Still waiting for itunes to finish syncing (step 5 of 5).

Yeah, sorry, you're stuck with it. Once it downloads it's there and cant be deleted.
HOnestly, you won't get carplay (and even if you did there are no cars currently on the market that support it) nor will you get the fingerprint scanning. You'll have the option for buttons again, along with a thicker font and a couple of other visual things.
The only way to keep updates from being manually pushed out is to keep your device full enough that there's no room for it to download.

With the new iOS 7 update, does anyone know what the setting "Bold Text" will do? If you click on this, it says it will restart your iPhone. Before I do this, I'm just wanting to be sure I know what's going to happen.

It just reboots the device and bolds the system fonts. No harm done. If you don't like it, undo the setting, it will reboot and back to as it was.

New IOS 8

The new IOS 8 has slowed my iPad 2 down. It takes time for mail, Pandora, Safari and others to load. When accessing the web, the little x to close the page is gone on the first page. You also have to scroll back up to make the tool bar reappear. !!! When you use the double boxes to the right to close the Internet every page appears. It's just screwEd up! I turned off the contact suggestions as it wasn't even correct! I can type faster than the keyboard responds.

I contacted Apple support and they solved my problem. Sign out of icloud. Go to icloud settings and toggle off iCloud photo sharing. It says you will lose all of your shared albums but they will still be in the cloud. Sign back into icloud and then switch back on photo sharing in the icloud photo settings and they all come back!

IOS 8.3 keyboard freezes - iPhone 6

Has anyone else experienced the keyboard freezing after using an emoji on the new iOS 8.3? It freezes on the emoji keyboard, showing "emoji added", and I can't get back to the alpha/numeric keyboard to type text. I touch the globe (and everything else) but nothing happens.

There have been posts like yours after every update since iOS 1.0.1, 2007. The problem is corrupted data or settings during the update. Downgrading, even if supported, wouldn't help at all.
Assuming the phone was never hacked/jailbroken (the most common cause of your issues), try these steps as needed:
Reset phone (no data loss): press both the home and lock buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Restore to factory settings using iTunes, also restoring a backup
Restore to factory settings as new (no backup restored)
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

Just to be clear, you are not speaking with Apple. This is a user forum. We are users just like you.
To fix the keyboard lag:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
You will not lose any data but it will reset the settings in your Settings app.

How to show up all the open Apps in this new iOS 7?

Mine iPad2.
When i was on the previous iOS 6.. I could press on the home button and it will display all the opened up Apps. I could then close what ever Apps I wish to close.
Since updating to the latest iOS 7 I do not get opened up Apps displayed on pressing the devices home button. How could I get my iPad 2 to show up all the opened Apps? Double tap on the home button does not work in this new iOS 7.
Any clues

After updating to the new iOS on my ipad 3 I find that I can no longer move the undocked keyboard across the screen to my desired location as I used to. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Here's the writeup from the iOS 6 Manual for iPad about moving and splitting the keyboard:
Keyboard layouts
On iPad, you can type with a split keyboard that’s at the bottom of the screen, or undocked and in the middle of the screen.
Adjust the keyboard: Touch and hold , then:
Use a split keyboard: Slide your finger to Split, then release.
Move the keyboard to the middle of the screen: Slide your finger to Undock, then release.
Return to a full keyboard: Slide your finger to Dock and Merge, then release.
Return a full keyboard to the bottom of the screen: Slide your finger to Dock, then release. Turn Split Keyboard on or off: Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Split Keyboard.

IMessage issues for new IOS

If you are having problems with iMessage with the new IOS - try these:
- make sure your number is in your contact list and saved as an 'iPhone' not 'mobile'
- make sure all your iPhone contacts are saved as 'iPhone' and not 'mobile'
- turn iMessage off, switch phone off and then turn phone and iMessgae on again.

If you don't succeed with one rep, call back again. I'm sure you don't want to sit on the phone and explain the situation again, but it seems like giving you an extra GB to hold you over until you account cycles isn't asking Verizon for a lot. I've had them do such courtesies for me when I've gone over and it was completely my own fault. Seems like you may have just gotten an unfriendly representative. I'd try calling back again and explain the situation. Something tells me that if you happen to get a decent rep, a one time bump of an extra GB should be something they could easily do. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

How do I change the colours on the new iOS? I can't stand all that white and blue. Can't read it, hurts my eyes and can't stay on as long.
Sorry I downloaded it. The only description I have for it is "brittle".

beyond that, there are tweaks here that can help. SUch as tweaking the font size to make them bigger or thicker and tweaking the contrast to help. (in the settings and under accessibility) But ultimately, there's only so much you can do.
