New iOS 8.0.2 and internet

After installing iOS 8.0.2. my iPad jumps off the internet connection - wi-fi - at least once a day, so I have to reset it to get it working again.
I've never had that problem and the other devices I have run fine.
Have any of you had the same problem or is my iPad (3) too old already?

Why don't you talk to apple and find out if backup exists? That conversation with apple will stop your guessing.

Other users have reported same problem with 4G iPod/iOS 6.1.6 and I have not seen a solution. One user reported yesterday or the day before that it just started working again.

I was told to hold down the off button at the top of the handset at the same time as holding down the round menu button at the bottom of the handset for 20 seconds - the phone went off, then restarted and it all seems OK now.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

I installed the new IOS 6.0.1 and my iphone is slow, what can I do?

I installed the new IOS 6.0.1 on our iphone 4s and they all run slower and choppy...there's lots of disk space left and i've tried reseting and restoring from the last back up. I strongly suspect the new OS. can I go back to the old one?

Here's the scoop...my settings indicated there was a new IOS available. I let the phone update yesterday and immediately noticed that it was slower. Today same thing, so I restored to a previous, successful back up and phone is still slow. Again, I strongly suspect the 6.0.1 but thanks anyway...

When I was updating my ipod touch to the new iOS last night it died and now I have nothing but a white screen. iTunes no longer recongnizes the device and it won't turn off when I hold the power button or when I hold the power and home screen button.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I downloaded the new ios and the phone will stay on for a minute then crash and go to the apple screen. Impossible to do anything on the phone. Any ideas?

Once I did the update it will not charge as quickly as it used to I mean like could be on the charger all day and not reach 100% and my friend has an iPhone 5 and she had the same problem the charger isn't broken and nothing is wrong with with place on the device for the charger she had to end up getting a new charger but I'm not buying a new charger when this was not my fault

I have tried the usual: check to be sure "do not disturb" is not activated (it isn't), checked the ringtone to be sure it did ring (it did). . . this didn't seem to happen right away after the update, for some reason -- it was initially ringing just fine. Start with your finger at the bottom of the screen (about even with the home button) and swipe in an upward motion. There should be a row of icons at the top of a grey field. if the quarter-moon icon is bright white, tap it. If it was (and still is) dark, take the iPhone in to be evaluated by a qualified technician.
