New iOS5 App Store Updates: "Purchased"

I don't want all my old uninstalled apps to be visible in the "Purchased" drop down list. How can I remove all hints of them totally? Some of them are just plain embarrassing.

I have a similar question, to which I cannot find the answer in any Apple web pages I have searched.  Is it going to be possible to suppress the sync of certain apps, certain photos, and certain music to specific devices?  I really do not want all apps on all devices.  I really, really do not want all photos on all devices.  I do not mind having all music on all devices, as long as the music is in the albums I have assigned it to.  But the only reason I do not mind having all music everywhere is that I do not have that much music.  If I had a huge amount of music, I would definitely want to load only certain playlists on the iPhone at any given time.
And apropos of someone else's flame, what is the right way to get feedback to Apple?  I cannot believe they ignore these message boards.  That is not good customer sensitivity.  Pardon me if I am a bit naive about Apple customer sensitivity.  I have not had to ask for much help before.

  • Delete Apps store/updates/purchase on iphone

    Hello,
I have several apps on my iphone within: Apps store/updates/purchase.
There are some apps I want to delete (not hide).
    Please help!
    Greetings
    Mies

After updated apps, apps would  disappear on iOS 6 but not iOS 7 apps will not disappear as long lists of apps where are completed and won't disappears.. I read article and explained how to get rid of the updated apps that it said:
"This is by design now due to the Automatic Updates Feature.  The only way I have found to clear them is to go into Setting> General> Date & Time and turn off the automatic setting, set your month to several days/month in the future..
Then go back to the App Store and the updates should clear, Then go back to your Date & Time setting and change it back to automatic" by KalebsDad78.
I did try this but still there and won't clear..  I can't figure it out how to get rid..

  • New iPhone5 app store update says K2HAppPurchasePage

    Brand new iPhone5 updated from a 4
App Store, Updates now shows a title across the top: "P2.SoftwareUpdates..."
also shows "K2HAppPurchasesPage.Title..."  kind of like it used to say "purchased apps"  (When activated, this screen looks pretty weird too.)
also shows "K2HSoftwareUpdatesL..." within each of the apps that have an update
Does anyone have any idea what this means?  If anything?

OK, so i just answered my own question -- do the update to iOS 6.0.1

  • Pushing App Store Updates purchased with an Institutional Apple ID

Has anyone successfully found a way to push out App Store Updates in Lion (such as iMovie & iPhoto) purchased with an institutional Apple ID, without providing users with the Apple ID Password?

Try here to change the password. You will probably have to answer security questions that you selected when you created the ID in order to reset the password.

  • The new ios7 app store

The new ios7 app store, updated apps stay on the list?
why cant we get rid of them? even when we open the description,we cant close it back making the list longer.
The updates available should be visible, then the apps which we update should be removed from the list.
The images used above are only displayed as an example for the issue. Why cant we close description?

You can't delete your purchase history, you can only hide it (in iTunes on your computer).

  • How can I completely delete an app, so it won't even be listed in the app store under purchased items? And I will stop being prompted to make updates even though I've removed it from my iPad?

How can I completely delete an app, so it won't even be listed in the app store under purchased items? And I will stop being prompted to make updates even though I've removed it from my iPad?

Once an app is deleted from an iOs device, you will no longer be prompted for updates. Update alerts only occur for apps curently installed.
Purchases can be hidden (but not completely deleted) from the purchased list, but only using itunes on a computer.

Weird, that's not the one I was initially downloading but I think that is the one that installed, so I think that solves that.  But now the problem is that the one I was updating is no longer being shown.  It's over 1gb that had all the loops and instruments.
Now when I try to use say strings lunar strings.  It tells me to download at app store.  It doesn't show.  I go back to garageband try again and says the instrument or loop is currently being installed.  But it's not.

You are doing all that you cn do right now other than to update the apps in iTunes on your computer and sync them to the iPad.
There has been a problem with the App Store updates tab for a few days now and we are all waiting for Apple to fix it.
Look at all of the discussions on the iPad forum that are talking about this right now.

  • Error 8003 & App store updates

Hi, recently upgraded to Mountain Lion on my iMac (mid 2007).
I did experience a crash soon after and had to use disk repair which found an issue with 'volumes' but then usesed the Apple recovery site to launch disk repair and repaired the volumes successfully. Not a great start though
Since then I seem to have an issue with 3 sepaarte areas which I assume are connected:
Updating iTunes Apps which returns error 8003
Updating iMac programmes (iPhoto) via App store and purchasing new apps which returned an error messahe 'use the purchase page to try again' which is exactly what i was doing
Signing into some secure websites on any browser.  I enter login details the page seems to refersh but nothing happens
    Steps taken so far:
Reinstalled Mountain Lion - no change
    Reset Safafri - no change
Rebooted cable modem - no change
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in antiticpation!

    Reboot solved it.  Jeez...

  • IOS should keep me in app store after purchase

    Hi,
I would like to make a suggestion and to see if its possible to have it implemented by Apple. For iOS5 I would like to see as part of the App store settings in the settings app, it should have a feature where you can check "on" to keep you in app store after purchasing an item and not kick you to the homepage where the item is being installed. That way you can install multiple items while in the app store.
I see this as a feature in many ways: for instance, kicking people out of the app store requiring going back, some might get lazy and not bother. By keeping them in app store, they can just purchase another item right away. I see the point being made that new users to iOS won't understand that the app is being installed in the "background" ie (off current screen) but thats why its a setting to be toggled in the settings.app and initially off.
    Thank you,
    AE

Sorry I thought this is where you discuss and make suggestions. Never came across the link you provided.
Thanks for the link, I have already left my feedback.

  • Mac App Store update: right Apple ID but wrong user account

My Mac App Store updates get associated to the wrong user account but the correct Apple ID.
I live in Germany and have an iMac and a MacBook Pro, both purchased under Snow Leopard and now running Lion 10.7.2. Just after upgrading to Lion I "purchased" a free App (BibleReader 5.0.0). This morning I logged into my wife's user account on the MacBook Pro, and the App Store icon flagged an update. I switched to my user account and was surprised to see that the update wasn't flagged there. By listing my purchases I did suceed in finding an "update" button for BibleReader, but pressing it resulted in a (German) error message whch translates as "An update is available for another account. Please log in with the account you used to purchase the App". But that is what I had just done.
Intrigued I went back to my wife's user account. By logging onto the Mac App Store with my Apple ID from my wife's user account I did manage to update the app. Later at work I got the same error message on the iMac. But this time the only other user account on the machine belongs to Computing Services: I don't have their password and I ought not to use admin rights to gain access to their account. So I can't perform the upgrade on the iMac.
All family iTunes / App Store purchases are via my main Apple ID. My wife's user account on the MacBook Pro only exists so that I can manually synchronise our iCloud address books (she has an iPad).
    Any ideas?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
All the applications you purchase on the App Store are registered to your Apple ID, so you have to use your Apple ID to update them, or you have to purchase those applications again using the Apple ID they are using on that computer, so they will be able to update them

  • HT204152 I am unable to update my App  store Updations. the reason being billing problem asking to update payment method.many times i updated my credit card details but refusing from the system .how can i update my app store updations like  Face book etc.

I am unable to update my App  store Updations. the reason being billing problem asking to update payment method. Many a  times i updated my credit card details but refusing from the system .how can i update my app store updations like  Face book etc....Using ! phone 6plus  .IOS8.3

What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. If that is the case then you won't be able to download anything else (including app updates) until you've paid off what you owe : Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
If you aren't getting the 'problem with a previous purchase' message then try logging into your account (not when trying to download something) and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove the card's details and be able to download updates to your apps : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support
