New IP caused a problem to launch DBConsole & listener (Oracle 10gR2)

Guys,
I have installed Oracle 10gR2 on XP system. My dev machine does not have permanent IP address and recently it has been changed.
As a result I can launch Listener and Enterprise Manager - it‘s a problem to start OracleDBConcoledev01 and OracleOraDb10g_home1TNSListener.
My sid name is dev01. I found 2 folders where the old IP is involved:
<c:\oracle\ora1020\db01\192.168.188.71_dev01> and
<c:\oracle\ora1020\db01\oc4j\j2ee\OC4J_DBConsole_192.168.188.71_dev01>
I saw some articles, but didn’t find exact solution of my problem.
I would appreciate very much any help regarding steps I should go through to make my Oracle working again.

C:\> emca -repos recreateand press enter.

the new updated version is even worse than the original.....
goto the uninstaller or delete it with appzapper (if u can get it to stay open...)

I have done that, several times.
So this is where I'm at now - last night, immediately after finishing a movie that was on my WD hard drive, which holds all of my media, music, movies - I restarted my computer and then it would not read the drive. It said it was unreadable.
I brought the Mac and the drive into an apple store today - they said basically it was my hard drive causing the issues. I used my iPod classic as my media back up as the 160 gb could hold all my stuff. Well, as I mentioned previously, that can't sync and I restored it, with no success. So in essence I lost my media drive and the back up. Tough to swallow, I'm angry, I think it's still mountain lion causing the drive to fail.
So I resolved to go home and restore my computer to one of my time machine back ups and do a Snow Leopard reinstall. Well, the moment I returned from the apple store, the time machine drive is now listed as unreadable. I called support, spent hours with them - I now have two drives which fried within 10 hours of each other in the same error. The senior support manager agreed it sounds like mountain lion is indeed corrupting my drives somehow. My iMac currently won't start into the recovery disk. So I went out spent $200 to get a new hard drive, which I am now backing up my data onto with a new Time machine.
In the last week, I've lost my iPod classic, iPhone 4, two external hard drives and now possibly even the Mac itself. I'm going to install snow leopard and see if it alleviates any of my issues, or hopefully can read my drives. I truly believe Mountain Lion is the problem.

Most likely. These "antiviruses" often cause more harm than they prevent.

HT2731 New iOS causing apps problem

When I'm upload updates for apps I keep getting a message about another country I was in 2 years ago use that countries I have changes my address to the new country I'm in and since the new iOS was downloaded there was no problem . True. I've noticed magazines now appear in the App Store along with all the other Apps. I think it would have been better if Apple made Newsstand more like Zinio i.e. an App where you can search for, read & download magazines. Seems a bit if a cop-out to just lump it in with all the other Apps, especially when trying to search for titles. For example I was looking for a photography magazine. If you do a search for 'photography' you get a load of photography Apps come up. Scroll through half a dozen pages & you might stumble across a photography magazine ..... but not the one you are after. In Zino you can browse magazines by category > photography and find what you are looking for in no time. If I could delete Newsstand (as well as about 6 of the other useless iOS Apps that can't be removed ) I would.

New TV causing DVR problem

My new sharp tv (LC-60LE660U - 2015 model) connected with an HDMI cable will disable the DVR function and not allow recording (until the HDMI is disconnected).
My old sharp tv (LC-60LE832U - 2012 model) was connected the same way and did not have that problem at all. To prove this was real, I re-connected the old tv and it work fine. then connected the new tv and had the stated problem. Do newer TVs have some setting that needs to be changed to allow proper DVR operation?

Is there another HDMI device coming in on the new Sharp? And are you changing the input to that other device? Then the DVR just kinda locks up? It never got the 'see ya later' signal from the TV when you switched inputs that puts the DVR in a coniption fit.
Fix is to connect the TV w/component cables that will give the same HD PQ from the DVR.

New RAM causes crash problems

Hello Everybody,
have some problems with new RAM for my G5. With the original 4 x 256 RAM everything's going fine, but as soon as I correctly stick in the new 2 x 1 GB (Mac Dealer bought), my mac's going crazy (crashes or not being able to install and so on...) Changed the new RAM allready at my Mac Dealer, things remain the same. Does anybody have an idea?

Have you made sure the RAM is properly seated?
If it is, contact the Mac dealer and inform them they have a bad batch of RAM.

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

New WIN7 System, FFox gives error "Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory" - will not go to any site.

New Windows 7 computer. After installing Firefox, every time I bring it up I get the following message:

Then Firefox comes up, but will not function at all - can enter url address, but will not respond to ANY clicks, so can not go to any site.

thx for your reply - apparently when I went to the Apple store a long time ago, they restore maybe photos and itunes etc from my external hard drive (passport). I guess at that time they reinstalled an earlier operating system than my macbook came with and that somehow corrupted FileVault. apparently there was no sparse bundle (whatever that is) for my old admin account and they said that ever since the install of the older OS that it was actually NEVER backing up anything in my admin account.
Then, I bought Time Capsule and starting backing up to that instead. I started having problems with it being slow etc and then StartUp Disk full errors and didn't know what to do, so I "Restored" from Time Capsule and that's when I lost everything in my Admin account and was locked out when I tried to log in - it said File Vault error ..."
anyway - that's THAT sad story. I was told to create a new admin account and I've basically been trying to start over - even though I have a partial save of my computer in Crash Plan and I DO see a sparse bundle listed in there, but I just don't know enough about computers to know if it's something I can get back or if I am just totally doomed.
I'm afraid to reinstall anything because if there is even a remote shot that the other files are still floating around in my computer, I feel like that chance will be shot forever. I need to hire McGee from NCIS, I just KNOW he could get those files back for me!!!

Thanks for the input. I was finally able to find some test conditions that duplicated the problem, and it is either that or some other out-of-spec diffraction distortion. So I sent it off for repair.

No new folder choice. Anyone have any ideas how I can correct the problem?

Reset Password
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse pointer to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.
