New ipad and iPhone 4 calendars won't sync tried everything on here still won't do it, help!
Ipad and iPhone will not sync, I have tried all the suggestions on here but nothing seems to work, any other ideas appreciated!
I have the same issues... iPhone and MBP have all the latest updates, etc. iCal synching used to work, but stopped at some point in January. I have tried all suggestions mentioned in these forums, including merging a new account...
I am stunned that Apple can't get this right.
The closest I've gotten to making this work is a dialog box popping up during synching warning of major changes to iCal; I say ok, but nothing is importing.

The receiver app has a specific list of servers it's compatible with, if the server is not on the list the app won't work in OS X.

How can i get my ipad and iphone calendars to sync?
my ipad and iphone calendars used to sync fine but recently they stopped syncing. i haven't changed a thing so i don't even know how to begin fixing the problem.
everything gets backed up into icloud and connecting the ipad and iphone to my laptop for sycing hasn't resolved the issue.
my default email is a gmail account (calendar), which has been from the beginning; however, i have an icloud account on both devices, and i use the same apple id on all devices and itunes. in the past anything i would input into my gmail calendar on any computer would sync with my ipad and iphone, but no longer!! what happened????? right now all calendars are independent of one another; anything i input into my gmail calendar doesn't show on my ipad or iphone calendar or vice versa.
i have checked my ipad and iphone section by section to ensure everything is the same, and it is.
i am sooo frustrated right now somebody please help me to resolve this problem.The first step in troubleshooting this is to determine which of your devices are not syncing with iCloud. To do this, add a new event on your iPad calendar and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com. Do the same thing on your iPhone and in Outlook. When you do this, which device is not syncing new events to the calendar on icloud.com?

My wife has a new Ipad and Iphone with icloud. We also have a Imac that has not been upgraded yet that is somehow syncing with her ipad and screwing up the apps. Is there anyway to prevent this. Maybe it is thru mobilme?
I think iCloud isn't coming until this fall and not until iOS 5 is publicly available. Right now there is confusion because all this stuff is still in beta and things are under NDA and may still change.
I'd just set the 3GS up the same as currently. When iOS 5 is available in the fall (and I don't think Apple has specified beyond "fall"), before you update, there should be any number of guides to setting things up and how it will all work. http://macworld.com is a good place to look for such information. -
My iPad and iPhone have the same syncing calendar but my Windows 7 PC with iCloud does not sync/show the same calendar...please help!
iCloud will not sycn a calendar from an external source. In order to use iCloud to sync it, you would have to move it to iCloud and stop using Google. I know how to do that on a Mac, but I'm not sure how to do it on a PC. If you're using Outlook, I suspect you export it as an .ics file to your desktop, then import it to the iCloud account in Outlook. I'm sure you could use Google to find the specific steps.
However, there's really no reason not to just use Google to sync your calendar across your devices. Instead, just continue to use Goole calendar on all your devices and they should stay in sync. Take a look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0Jj0KFgbYI. -
I have different apple ids for my ipad and iphone - how do i sync so that the apps appear on both devices, e.g errands
If both accounts are authorised on the computer's iTunes that you sync them to, and the relevant apps are on that computer, then you should be able to sync them to both devices. The apps will be tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded them, so only that account will be able to download updates to them.
If you log into the other account on a device and re-download its apps onto them then you risk tying the device to that account for 90 days (and similarly redownloading on a computer's iTunes) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 -
I m trying to update iTunes 10.5.2 my mac book air but it keeps telling me that it is installed but when i plug my new iPad and iPhone it keeps saying it has only 10.3 iTunes and it needs at least 10.5 version can anyone help?
no that does seem to work it is as if it is not recognising it. it says installed on screen but when plug new ipad and iphone4s in it says new version required but i have ran a system update and it says everything is updated

Notes from iPad and iPhone are not being synced to my Mac with iCloud
I have been really hesitant to even use iCloud, but i just started to try to use it yesterday - and my Notes from my iPad and iPhone are not being synced together, and both Notes from my iPhone and iPad are not even being seen to my Mac.
What am i doing wrong with this?Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the notes you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device, or the left side panel in mail on a computer), non iCloud notes will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your notes are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing. -
I have given my iPad and iPhone to my wife, she has synchronized with her Apple ID but it keeps going back to my Apple ID when she tries to purchase something in iTunes. Do I need to deregister the device and register it in her Apple ID?
What id shows at the bottom of the Featured tabs in the App Store apps on the two devices ? If they still show your account id then try tapping on the id and log out of it and your wife can then try logging in with her account.
Any content that is already on them that was downloaded by your account will remain tied to your account, so only your account will be able to download updates to your apps. -
I can't sync my pc with ipad and iphone calendars?
I have used icloud for months now and suddenly the PC will notup date calendar changes from the iphone or ipad. ipad and iphone still sync and pc exports to both any ideas?
Could you walk us through what happens (when you try to do the sync) in some more detail, please?

Bluetooth between New iPad and iPhone 4S won't connect
This worked earlier this week (for the purpose of using Keynote Remote on the phone to make a Keynote presentation on the iPad), but yesterday, the iPad and iPhone began to be unable to connect via Bluetooth. I've rebooted both devices a few times. Sometimes they can see each other, but can't connect; other times, they can't see each other at all.
This is for my boss so I am really in need of some help.It does seem that this isn't possible, but for some reason this reads as though you can use Keynote Remote on your iPhone to control a Keyntoe Presentation on your iPad. Outlook, iPad and iPhone Calendar
Hi guys!
My iPad and iPhone are both synced with my Outlook calendar, so I may keep an eye on all my apointments. However, whenever I have a reminder in Outlook, the Outlook, iPhone and iPad alarms all go on at the same time.
This can be quite cumbersome, deactivating it device by device, Is there a way to deactivate the calendars alarms on the iPad alone, and leave it on iPhone?I am not talking about the notification alerts from the notification center. I am talking about calndar events with a reminder/alarm that are set in Outlook, and synced with both the iPad and iPhone.
The calendar's alarm iteself will go on, regardless of the notification seetings of the notification center. -
In fact, when I am in iTunes and click on either my iPad or IPhone it shows the sync options and ten within 10 or so seconds iTunes gets the "closed unexpectedly" error message. Very frustrating....updated to latest iTunes version yesterday, and this issue started today. Thanks in advance for your ideas.

To print from the iPad your going to have to install some more software like Printopia or download an HP application on your ipad.
You can connect the printer to a computer and install software on your iPad/computer to print from your ipad to the comptuer then to the printer.
