New iPad cannot get email to work java errors?

"Javascript" is not "java", two completely separate and different programming languages. So you are not getting "java errors". If you are using a browser to get your email then likely there is broken javascript code at the server.

I got an iPad mini over Christmas and have had no issues setting up/managing my email until yesterday. I've had my Exchange email working for almost a month, and yesterday I stopped getting emails and getting the error: "Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed."
I tried resetting the device (multiple times) and deleting and recreating the Exchange account (multiple times). This is getting annoying because it worked fine up until yesterday. I'm not aware of any updates to the device, or any changes that have occurred since yesterday.

Due to a screen issue, I had my iPhone 5 replaced two days ago. I repeated deleted the mail account and kept adding it but this did not make any difference. When I attempted to setup the new phone with my Google (Gmail via exchange active sync) accounts I was receiving this same "Cannot Get Mail" error. From what I was able to gather, this problem should be affecting Gmail accounts set up via Exchange. When originally purchasing the phone I was assisted and directed to set up my Gmail account through Exchange because it had the ability to use "ActiveSync" and push not only mail and calendars, but all of my contacts as well. What it came down to was having to delete my Gmail via Exchange account and separate it into two different accounts, a regular gmail account for my mail and a CardDAV account for my contacts.
Here is what I did. Google is changing their system and for new registrars Exchange ActiveSync will not work so you will be unable to register your account via Exchange and have your mail, calenders, and contacts all pushed together. I find this change really annoying. If you are having problems accessing your contacts after deleting the mail account, like I was, here is the work around.
To circumvent this issue go to Setting > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDAV Account: Under server ender google.com, then your email user name and password, then click next to verify the information.

I cannot get the camera to open on my new IPad

If the Camera app isn't working properly then try closing the app completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Camera 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I am trying to help a friend with her new iPad. She is logged into my wireless network, the same router that I am accessing this forum with, and her iPad cannot see the internet. Error messages state "You are not connected to the internet." My Mac Pro is all over the internet via the same router. What gives? The iPad sees the net just fine via LTE.

New user - cannot get programs to work??

I just signed up for the full version of creative cloud and paid the $49.95. When I try to open the applications, that were previously installed as the trial versions, they still wont open? How do I get the programs to work?
Annoying. It is still asking me for a licence number? Am I meant to have one? Do I need to reinstall all programs???!!
Some better instructions would be great Adobe....!
The email you sent is not very helpful... Surely I am not the only person who downloaded the trial versions before subscribing... Your email is worded that I need to download the programs to make them work...

1. Remove all adobe entries present in host file. Host file is located at: C:\Windows\System32\\drivers\etc\hosts(win) and /private/etc/hosts(mac)
2. Launch any of your product,you want to license.Follow step a) or b) whichever applicable:
a) If you have bought subscription for same adobe id which you used while installing your product in trial, you will get a "Sign In" screen. Click on "SIgn In", your product is now licensed.
b) If your adobe id having subscription is different from adobe id used while installing product in trial, a trial screen which has two butttons : "License This Software" and "Continue Trial" is shown. Click on "License This Software". On next screen, click on "Not your Adobe Id" and enter the adobe id carrying subscription.
You will now be able to license your product.

Totally Cannot Get Email to Work

I established an account: (exxample) Account type: POP; Description: grandma; Email Address: [email protected]; Full Name: Best Grandma; Incoming Mail Server: pop,tds.net; User Name [email protected]; Password: xxxxxxxxxx; Outgoing mail Server (SMTP): smtp.tds.net. Use only this server is checked.
The internet works fine.
I note that in the Network Preferences of Tiger it's set on TCP/IP and Configure Iv4 is set using PPP. In Panther it's set on TCP/IP Configure IPv4 Using DHCP without the choice PPP. Does this have to do with email? the internet?

Point to Point Protocol (PPP) is used as the connection protocol if you want to establish a connection to the internet using the built in modem (if you have one) and your phone line. Essentially you direct your computer's modem to 'dial' the phone number given to you by your ISP and yes you can hear it dialing.
Nowadays for broadband connections - for most people - this is not necessary. No phone number needs to be dialed. If your access to the internet is via Router wired or wireless then set the built-in ethernet or airport to acquire its TCP/IP address using DHCP.
However you are on the internet as you say so you should be picking up e-mail? What error messages (if any) do you get? Can you send and not receive or receive and not send? Is it possible your mail is actually working and there is no mail for you?
Perhaps the problem lies with your Mail Client Software? Whilst you troubleshoot that you should be able to send and receive mail using the web client software provided by your ISP/Mail Provider. Most providers offer this service in addition to the standard POP account most people are aware of. How do you access webmail? Access your ISP's website and they should have a placeholder allowing you to log in using your mail user ID and/or address and password. Once there you should have the ability to send and receive.

New User Cannot get Itunes to work - Setup Assistant Not Showing

I'm hoping somebody can help me. I have been trying for hours now to install Itunes on Windows XP.
It downloads, I run it, it installs, but doesn't seem to bring up the Set-up Assistant. After I click Finish on the first set up menu, it does nothing. So I then go and click the shortcut to start Itunes and to sync it with the Ipod Touch, but nothing happens.
I have watched the set up video and can't see what is wrong.
Edited to add: I don't get any error messsages while trying to install Itunes.
I have a very unhappy 13 year old who can't enjoy his birthday present!

Are you sure this compiles? You define an array of Questions (not
declared anywhere) as "qs" and later appear to use is as "ques".
The braces in the main method are unmatched.
If it doesn't compile, you won't get any runtime errors (because it
won't run) but java will complain that the Quiz class doesn't exist
(because it doesn't).

Sometimes it is fruitless to try to "fix" a broken account on an iOS device. I would delete the account on both devices and then configure the account again from scratch.

Below that line there is an Apple ID which is the primary email address being used by the iPad. You can make changes there to change the email address.

It sounds like you have modified the password settings for your Gmail account after changing the password. Thats where I would have started too. Next I would restart the device and test it one more time, and then remove and add the account again in Settings:
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

I don't know this app, but I did look it up in the iTunes Store, thinking I would suggest you could visit the developer's (vendor's) site and seek assistance there.
But when I found the app and went to the vendor's site, I found garbage (nothing useful).

Start by working throudh the Troubleshooting iOS and WiFi knowledge base article and see if that helps the situation. When you get to shutting down the router, be sure to disconnect power as shutdown on some is really just standby mode.
