BBrand new iPad won't connect to iTunes or App Store. Have tried rebooting and searching through for anything different fro. Our other devices

Try this first. Go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID, tap your ID and sign out. restart your iPad, then go back to the settings and sign in again.

Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Your iPad will reboot on its own. You will have to enter all of the device settings again, but no data will be lost.
I eould not spend a whole lot more time trying to fix this, if the device is really brand new. I would take it back to where you bought it, bring the box, the charger, the cable and your receipt and if they can't get it fixed, return it and get another one.

My brand new iPad 4 won't connect to iTunes on my PC. When first connected to the USB port this mornng, iPad appeared under devices in iTunes, but it soon disappeared. I waited and reconnected using a different USB port, and "iPad" appeare for a short time, and I was able to transfer some files to my iPad. But the connection was broken again. This last attempt, "iPad" appeared for about 30 seconds, and then nothing. The iPad is two days old! What can I do?

I just bought a new ipad mini and tried to connect it to BT business hub but I waited more than I need to so I turned it off and restared again and i tried 3 times and tried all the ways to connect to wifi on the internet but it still wouldn't connect I need help T-T

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. I just got a brand new iPad mini not even 24 hours ago. I've taken absolute perfect care of it and its been working fine, but I was just listening to music on it with the charger plugged in, and all of a sudden it just blacks out. I've tried everything including pressing the on/off and home buttons at the same time but nothing works. Please help!!!!!!!!

Read this. As of april 16 any device that uses facetime must be updated to a certain level. So it may be as simple as you or the person you're calling needing to update your device to iOS 7.1.1

New iPad Air won't sync with iTunes on Windows 8

Hello,
I have an iPad Air that will not sync with iTunes. That same machine however syncs with my original iPad and iPad 2 with no issues.
Only thing that happens when I connect the iPad Air to the PC is a tile/window pops up like it is looking for photos on the USB device?
I have tried disabling, uninstalling/reinstalling, updating the driver, all with no success. I even factory reset the iPad Air and didn't change the outcome.
I can tell you that the iPad Air is running the latest firmware, my iTunes is the latest version, and Windows 8.1 is up to date, as well as both other iDevices syncing error free.
Any insight anyone could provide on what I could be missing would be greatly appreciated.

When and where was the iPad/charger purchased? It's covered by a 1-year warranty.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If pictures was synced from your computer then it can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select it from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

So I went to the Apple store today to buy a new iPad Mini. I got it home, and tried to plug it into my computer to sync all of my information from my compter/old iPad. So I try to download the latest version from the Apple website, and version 11.0.2 won't install onto my computer because I need version 10.6.8 or newer in order to install it!? ***?? Help me out!!

You need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB of RAM, and to install the 10.6.8 combo updater.

ITunes DID recognize new iPad mini, error when updating, now doesn't. Please help. I have a 700 dollar paperweight now.

Today I bought a brand new iPad mini 2, 32 gb. First, I backed up my old ipad mini to my hard drive. Then, I updated iTunes to the newest version. Then, I plugged in the new iPad mini, went through the set up, iTunes was working fine. I registered the iPad, then it suggested i update the iOS on the iPad. This is where things went south. After a few minutes, it stated "cannot update iOS 7 at this time" or something to that effect. Since that point, iTunes will not recognize the iPad. The iPad shows the "connect to iTunes" screen. When I plug it in, I hear the tone suggesting a new device is connected, but nothing happens. I've tried it in DFU mode, no results. I've tried putting it in recovery mode, nothing happens, just the same screen. I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, following every step suggested through this site/apple support. I even uninstalled and installed an older version of iTunes (10.7) but same result. I've followed all troubleshooting steps, and nothing is working, so please don't suggest the same olf "iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows" page.
What should I do? Do I have to take this to the geniuses at the store? Will they even be able to help without having access to my computer?
