New Ipad missing from the sealed box
I bought an Ipad mini from Walmart for Thanksgiving. When I opened the box there is no Ipad .This looks like an organised theft and I am confused as what to do next ?Please help
I heard the same thing happened with a couple of iPads at Walmart a year or two ago. The store management apologized and gave a full refund or another iPad box which actually had an iPad in it. It should work out the same for you.
For some reason it's only Walmart. I wonder where they get their iPads.

After about a half hour or so my new iPad air looses the wifi connection
My laptop in the same location never looses the connection. Why does it happen with my iPad air ? I can get the connection back by either shutting off my ipad or going into settings then wifi and turning wifi off and then back on again. It connects right back up. The signal strength is full, I cannot find out why it does this, does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it ?
Thank you for any help.jThe prolem is from fabric, You are not the first one with that problem. Those are the bad things of buying new technology when its aout, most of time comes with problmes. I recommend you to go to an apple store and them to tell you whats going on. I had the same problem and I pay a little and they change it to me to a new ipad but from the same model.
Turn it on a try everything on the same store like that you dont need to go again and pay again.
Good Luck. -
I Restored my new iPad 2 from my old iPad and everything came across except my 2 favorite games which I play all the time..I dont want to download the games as I will lose my score. Any suggestion?
Apparently those apps and their data were not in the backup file that you used to setup your new iPad.
If you still have the old iPad you could take a new backup and restore your new iPad from this new backup.
If this is not possible you can still download the apps from the App Store at no charge but you will have to start over on these games. -
Can I use the same plan that I have for my iphone 4s with my new ipad? or do I have to buy a new data plan for my new ipad? I would love to use my new ipad away from home but not sure how to use it? I am on Telus mobility with my iphone 4s.
See the answer on the same question you asked a few minutes ago.

I have been trying to get my iPhone to sync with a new computer. As a result I have ended up with many of my apps on the old computer, but missing from the the new one and the iPhone. How do I get the apps on the old one to the iPhone and then the new computer?
You don't. Backup your itunes library on the old computer and move it to the new computer.

I have reorganised my music in the itunes folder in windows explorer. Now I can't sync all my music to a new iPad, or play the music from itunes (as it is looking in the old location). How do I repoint itunes to all my music?
Have you read for possible solutions over in the "More Like This" thread over here?----------------------->

When syncing my iTunes to my iPad from the laptop, I get a list of missing songs; they are in the library, but not in the music folder on my HD. In particular, I uploaded 3 CDs at the same time, all are in my library, and all synced to the iPad - but the music from two of them are missing from the music folder. Questions are (a) where might they have gone? and (b) is there a way of "reverse loading" them back to my hard drive from the iPad? Thanks in advance!
Hi dones49,
It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -
Locate and organize your iTunes files
If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

hi my ipad mini keeps deleting emails from the in box I want them left untl I am ready to delete. Please help!
In theory, an IMAP server should never present different views of the same inbox to different IMAP clients. (I assume you did verify that the laptop and the older iPad were accessing the server using IMAP; some servers offer both IMAP and POP.) The clients could react differently, but I am not aware of any settings that would cause what you are seeing.
I know this sounds like a cliche, but have you tried power-cycling or resetting the iPad Mini? -
Using the new iPad, what’s the best way to watch video files (away from home) which are stored on a NAS (WD My Book Live)? Any help would be appreciated!
Before you go, move the files to I tunes and sync them down. There is no viable way to stream from your nas drive to the pad.

I restored my iPad 2 from the iTunes backup but my music, audio books and iBooks are all missing. It seems only the Apps were restored and settings. Anyone else had this problem?
Oh and the bizarre thing was that when I opened iBooks for the first time after the restore it showed all the books in the open collection and then they vanished in front of my eyes!

I bought the iPad Air from the apple store and all in the box was a piece of wood
I went to the apple store in my local mall and I purchased 2 iPads and 2 cases with protection plans and I went home and opened up my new iPad Air and the box was empty except for a piece of wood
Once I realized It was empty I called the store and they just closed I then called my local police precinct and told them just to get there input because I just spent a lot of money. After that I called apple and they said they will open an investigation they said they will get back to me ASAP I am just curious what apple does in these situations

Restore new iPad Mini from iPad 1 backup. Ican update new apps from Apple store but most of my apps have been showing the Waiting status for over 12 hours. Store shows them as installed. What gives?
If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

I have a photo in front of me. Now I'd like it to fall toward me, but when I spin the X axis, of course, the focal/center/axis point is the center of the photo. If it was falling toward you as if standing up on a table, the bottom of the photo would
