How do you get the hp3050a to print off iPad
Wireless router service in a house
Driving me crazy

The listing( below) shows a model 3050a J 611 as an airprint compatible printer. Is that the one you have?( the J611 part might be important)
If that is the one you have, then
Get it set up on your wirelss network, then
From the printer control panel, have it search for and install the firmware update.(they all need it).
Then it should work. If that is not happeneing, come back with what it is doing, or not doing.

Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

Due to mismatching of password that was stored in iPad and new password ,it does not accept it. very unfortunately i also unable to connect my iPad with internet because it does not allow me to connect. In every second message displayed for apple id password. i am helpless. please help to get rid opt from this problem.

So we are entirely new to Apple products. I'm an IT guy, but have always been a windows user.
So the Ipad with Retina Display is to be mine (and will use it at work for notes, organization, etc)
The MINI is for the wife.
But, are we allowed and can we.. buy an app and share that app between both devices? IE. Can I buy a copy of Angry Birds for the House and both Ipad's use that single purchase? and if so, can we still run the Ipads seperate other than to share the apps purchased. IE my facebook and email set up on mine and hers on her ipad mini?
When I finally find a note taking app I like, can I share it on her ipad, without her having all my work files, etc?
Thanks for helping out the apple noob. Hoping for a great experience, and anticipate droping $100 in apps the first day.. just don't want to do that twice. If this is against the usage policy, thats unfortunate but good to know. (I mean we can share stuff on PC as long as its in the same household)

There are a number of Apple services: iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game center, Find My iPad, etc.
Now, to share apps, music and books you need to have the same Apple ID:
iPad's Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Your purchasing Apple ID.
For the other service, your wife should have her own Apple ID.
All she needs is a valid e-mail address, apply Apple ID below:

Add another e-mail account to your messages, so people could reach you on that e-mail from messages. As soon as you are online (if you have wifi only iPad) you are able to send and receive messages. i.e. your son can send you a messages from his iPhone addressing it to your (that additional) e-mail address.

Printopia is another option but be aware that since these solutions effectively act as a print server and AirPrint receiver, they require a computer to be running on the same WiFi network.
Canon also has a couple of apps in the App Store that might facilitate this on non-AirPrint printers. Check out...

To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

What precisely do you mean by deleting the podcast app from both the phone and Mac? I have deleted the podcast app from my phone but on my Mac in iTunes->iPhone->Apps it shows up albeit with a button labelled "Install". You can copy the iWeb application from the desktop machine to your new MBA. But if it's iWeb 2 it won't work with Mavericks or Mt. Lion. Also copy the Domain.sites file from the desktop to your MBA as that's the file with your webstite files in it.

If she is using the mail app, there doesn't appear to be a way to sync contacts directly with gmail. You might see if there is a way to export to a Mac desktop and then to use iTunes to sync the contacts to the iPad. Otherwise the contacts will have to be manually added to the iPad. Another option would be to use gmail's web based mail. Her contacts should be available from there.
