New iphone 4 working fine,then just went dead this morning. Its been charging all night. what's the problem?
Just got iphone 4 on tues. It has been working fine. Made 1 phone call this morning. 30 minutes later tried to use the phone again and it would not turn on. What could be the problem. Phone was charging all night.
Sounds more like it might be frozen up. Have you tried resetting it by holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for ~10 sec?

Plug it in to mains power for at least 15 minutes. If it doesn't automatically come on, try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

The Ipad Air was working fine - then it went blank. It will not turn on again. It was fully charged It is less than 2 months old.
A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure. -

You should still be under warranty. First try rebooting the iPhone by pressing and holding both the Home and Sleep buttons at the same time until the Apple symbol appears, ignoring the power off slider. You should get indications of life within about 10 seconds while holding the buttons.

I installed Firefox 3.6. Since then, I am unable to open pdf documents in Firefox. I get a black page. I tried opening the same document in Internet Explorer. It worked fine. I recently installed Nuance's pdf reader and thought that might be the problem. Uninstalled it. Still have the problem with Firefox.

Every time Firefox openedHow about if you right click on the PDF and select Save Link As..., and then open it locally from within Reader? Does it work ok then? That might be a workaround until the issue within the browser is resolved.

I'm currently running ios 5 beta on my iphone 4 and when i woke up this morning my phone had decided to automatically update the software OTA. After connecting to wifi and switching on location i proceeded to follow the instructions 'slide to setup'. I was informed that it may take 3 minutes to activate phone but was then presented with the screen 'Could not Activate iphone', this is because the activation server is unavailable. Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

IPOD model A1059 appears frozen and is unresponsive to all click wheel entries. Reset does not work. Does not show up in ITunes or in Windows Explorer. What is the problem and is there a fix?
If you are unable to reset the iPod (assuming the hold switch is not in the On position either), then you'll have to let the iPod's battery fully drain. Then connect it to a charger and leave it to charge for a couple of hours.

New Install Works Fine then System Crashes After Time Machine Backup
I have installed Snow Leopard and everything went fine. I setup my external drive as the backup drive for Time Machine and did a backup. Then when I next used it, various applications started crashing. Then the System began crashing and gave me the gray screen restart and would never load again.
I got out the Snow Leopard disk and used DIsk Utilities to repair the disk and permissions, which seemed to work well. The computer worked great for a while. Then after I used Time Machine to back it up, when I next used it the System began crashing again.
What is going on here? It seems to be too much of a coincidence that the problems started immediately after I performed my first Time Machine backup to an external drive.Woodwyn wrote:

So you only re-insalled printer drivers and updated the existing OS to 10.6.2? Then that may be enough. Otherwise, if the issue returns, I would suggest a full re-install of the OS at 10.6.0 followed by updates to 10.6.2.
However, first I am going to repair the drive and NOT enable Time Machine or perform a back-up, to see how long it lasts without crashing. The last two times, the crashing began within an hour of finishing the install and repairing the disk (immediately following a "co-incidental" Time Machine backup both times, of course). It's entirely possible Time Machine is not the culprit, however, that will confirm whether it has been the trigger.
Good troubleshooting strategy. Only time will tell.
Another thought occurs to me...Is the RAM that is installed on your Mac the original cards supplied by Apple - or did you upgrade it with 3rd party RAM yourself. The crashing you described earlier could very well be from a bad RAM card - even one that came from Apple.
It is one 2GB card, or two 1GB cards? If the crashing continues, I would suggest taking one of them out and seeing how things perform, then switching them and seeing if things change. -

Either purchase additional iCloud space or turn off iCloud backup and backup you new phone with a computer running iTunes.

Adobe 9 worked fine, then just stopped working. Loaded adobe 11 and it will not open any .pdf files
Why can't I get Adobe Reader 11 to work at all?? Won't open, repaired via Windows XP as suggested, does not help. Will not open files in Emails, or stored on the disk. HELP!!!!!
No, neither vers. 9 nor 11 will do anything by itself, no errors, no nothing, hourglass shows up for about 10-15 seconds, no message, no nothing. Very frustrating, to say the least. When you have 11 loaded it says Acrobat failed to load its core .DLL but this is several minutes later. Can’t find anything relating to that problem. Any help would be appreciated as I have some very important files that cannot be opened.

Connect the 4S to iTunes. Backup the device.
Connect the 5S to iTunes, then do a Restore. Restore to the 4S backup when prompted.
