New iPhone 4s 16gb home button a bit turned (awry)
Hello.
I just got a new black iphone 4s 16gb and I discovered that my home button is a little bit turned to the right.(awry, twisted).
You can easily see that the square is not completely right.
Its working properly but I find this a lil weird.
What should I do? And is this harmfull?

just bought a new iphone 4s 16gb my sim worked correctly after puting and old profile on the phone so I could get all the info now it says invalid sim what can I do o fix this?
I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

No, for several reasons:
This would void your warranty, and if something were to go wrong, you would be stuck with a useless paperweight.
The iPhone 5s is specifically engineered to take advantage of the fingerprint sensor. The iPhone 5 does not have the hardware to use the fingerprint sensor.
The iPhone 5s' internal routings may be different to the iPhone 5's, meaning the home button will not fit.
What would you do with the iPhone 5's home button?
Do not attempt this, even if other people tell you it's possible and/or safe. They are incorrect. Your Apple hardware is only designed to work with the parts it was designed for.
If you're looking to save on an iPhone 5s, then you can exchange your iPhone 5 for an iPhone 5s with some discount.

all you need to do is to check if the parts inside the iphone are all connected. I checked mine and number 4 (the charging port) was unplugged, i plugged it on and it worked

New iPad (3 gen) Home button requires pressure
The Home button on my new Ipad (3 gen) requires more pressure to activate than my old iPad (1 gen). Is anyone else experiencing this with the new iPad?
I have not. My new IPad (3rd Gen) home button requires very little pressure. Sounds defective. If you are in the return window, return it. If not, sounds like you need to setup service as you are covered under warranty.

Sorry but that makes no sense at all. How can they possible know what things will possible malfunction on your device? Anything that they think is highly likely to malfunction they would have addressed in desiging and manufacturing the device in the first place, during development. They've made and sold many millions of iPhones, and many of them have lasted years without any problems (I know, I've owned such iPhones personally). So how could they possible know if yours was any more likely to develop any issues than any of those other trouble free ones?
It's hardware - stuff sometimes breaks randomly. No amout of money ever guarantees or even reduces the likelyhood of random product failures.
Take it in to Apple and see about getting it fixed. -
My iphone 5 lock/home button has been bugging for months but now they are just not respoding at all. I was in the settings page, then
when i tried to go back to home screen they wont work. I tried turning it off, rebooting it, plugging it in, nothing works. I even have that little black square that kets you lock it by touch and not even that works.
What should i do?If i got it in October, but I didnt buy Apple Care, does it still fall under warranty? I dont wanna make the 2 hour trip for nothing. :{

My new iphone has a lag time before it turns on. I think it may need to go into Tysons for support. Do you have any other options for me?
What exactly do you mean by lag time when tutned on? If you startup from a shutoff condition you have to hold the power button for a few seconds before the startup sequence begins...and then the apple logo will stay on-screen for a minute or so as it powers up.
If you are talking about waking from sleep, how long is this taking?
If you are concerned, by all means take it in for testing...but Apple does not repair iPhones, they replace them if defective. -
I don't have a phone plan, so I cannot text without wifi. I have been using iMessage to text my friends, until it stopped working. I can text my sisters email, but not my boyfriends iPhone. The send button will not turn blue. Help? Please?
There is a problem with iMessage with what Apple says is a small number of iPhones and they are working on a fix. In the meantime try this:
1. Settings > Messages > iMessage = Off
2. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = Off
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
4. Wait for the iPhone to Reboot
5. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = On
6. Settings > Messages > iMessage = On
You may have to repeat the steps a couple of times.
