New iPhone 5 display not working!

Just got my iphone 5 today and I'm already facing few weird problems. And it is now 'display-less'. The phone is still functioning except without the screen. You can clearly hear the lock/unlock sound and even interact with Siri (maybe that's Apple force me to use Siri). What I'm suppose to do with this tiny nano-SIM. *sigh* I will be working tomorrow without my mobile phone.
Model: iPhone 5 (brand new that received noon today, ordered via Apple Store MY last Friday), no jailbreak and nothing. Just some apps installed via AppStore.
Below are just for your record, previous error for today...
Error 1: After activated, left it to sync all items from iCloud. At that time it was still v6.0.1. Then unable to turn it back on. Tried to press and hold 'Power+Home' to shutdown, after then still unable to boot. After few tries, it randomly either stuck at Apple boot logo or has no reaction at all, can't get it back to boot.
Solution for Error 1: Restore (press-hold Home and plug to MacBookAir, restore via iTunes v11).
Error 2: See this video > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPQSGZKXj3w , I believe the display has some 'over-heat' issue or 'under powered' issue.
Please help, I'm now helpless as there're no phone I can find to use this tiny Nano-SIM, how soon can I get this solve or replaced? Thanks.

Same, they told me either:-
1. Give them one week for testing, and if it can't be repaired then they will take another 1 week to send me the brand new replacement unit.
2. Or I can choose for refund (because is just 2 days after received the defect unit).
I replied them that if that is the case, I will go for refund because I would rather place a new order and get the brand new unit in a week time (as stated at the online store), while they are working on the refund (cannot remember they said how long the refund process). Logic isn't it? Why would I want them to repair a broken unit and keep me waiting, while I can request for a full refund and place a new order? After expressing to them, they decided to send me the brand new replacement unit in 5 calendar days time.

A couple of other things you can try -
With my 2010 Ford Fusion (and SYNC) I received the same not optimized message a few times. There were several things I had to do but eventually, I got it cleared up. Not sure exactly how this will translate to your Toyota but maybe it will.
- Try resetting the iPhone via a power off/on or a hard reset where you hold the home and power buttons. Then power back on and plug into your USB port.
- In my case I had an issue with SYNC in my car where I needed to reset the USB port in my car. Not sure if Toyota has something similar. The fact that you said it won't charge makes me wonder if the USB port got disabled in your car. This happened in my car and an easy reset for me was to remove a fuse for a few minutes and replace.
- Update your iPhone in iTunes and resync it there. Then try connecting again in yor car.
- Delete and re pair your iPhone from your Toyota system

I have purchased iphone 4 32GB brand new from Oman and am living in Oman
but unfortunattly my beginning with this iphone was unlucky at all.
When i opened it at the beginning i did not get any respond that the iphone has worked,then i heard the sound but nothing showed in the screen still black.
I charge it but nothing no life at all, i thought it was a software problem i upgraded it to the latest software and still am facing the same problem.
i opened the phone on the 12/07/2012 at 11:30 pm at 12 am by the date of today i sent an email to contact us .uae
hope they can help me.
Am disappointed i sold my 3gs and my 4 did not work
hope to hear something would make me pleasent again

Apple doesn't sell iPhones in Oman, so your phone originated somewhere else and may be carrier locked to a carrier where it came from and not usable in Oman. Return it.

Hi my old phone 4s after upgrading to IOS 8, Calender is not working. Just a blank page and it quits automatically. I bought a new iphone 6+ and after synching , it also showing the same issue.

There's no way a software update causes a hardware issue. This is just coincidental. Bring your phone to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?

Camera on new iPhone 3GS does not work

My husband got a brand new iPhone 3GS yesterday from the iShop here in Gateway Durban, and the camera does not work at all. You can see through the lense, but non of the touchscreen controls work (ie access to camera roll, take picture, swap to video.) Am I missing something obvious? This is perculiar, in that it is his second iPhone and I have the iPhone 4 so you would think between us we would be able to figure it out, but it does seen truly STUCK. Any ideas?

Brand new iPhone 4 earpiece not working

I bought a fully unlocked iPhone 4 a few days back, I din't have a micro sim so I waited till today to activate the phone, I was checking the phone and found that earpiece is not working, I mean, I'm not able to hear anything on call, Calls through speaker phone is working and calls through earphones are also working, but the earpiece doesn't work, My phone is under warranty but the nearest Apple service center is 5hrs away from my place, just wanted to know if it's a software glitch or hardware problem.

If the device is in fact new, it is highly unlikely that it is running iOS 4.3.1.
Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore.
Upgrading to the current version of iOS would also be a good thing to try.
If none of that resolves the issue, then it is hardware related.
Either return to the place of purchase for exchange (since you should still be within the return/exchange period) or take it to Apple.

Problem with new Iphone 4, mms not working to receive.

My Iphone 4 is not receiving mms texts, but will send them. Ive checked for updates, made sure all settings are correct and rebooted it. What else can I try before restoring? Its brand new as of 3 days and has never received mms.

New 20 inch display not working on my G4

Help, My 20 inch display is not working on my G4 455.
When I turn on the system, it lights up and the spinny clock thing shows up but then it goes black.
The monitor works great with my G4 powerbook.
My original set up was with two 17 inch displays.

my iPhone 4S iOS 7.0.3,model MF266HN/A,8GB one speaker not working why? What can I do?

All iPhones are mono. Stereo is only available on Earphones.
Bottom left is mic and right is the speaker.

ICloud restore on new Iphone 4s (iOS8) NOT WORKING

My mother in law has an Iphone 4s and got a brand new one (4s)
She also use an iPad3, both phone and ipad are sync to icloud (contacts, photos, etc not mail) and have the latest version of iOS 8
I opened the new Iphone 4s (comes with iOS8) but first had to do an update to the latest version in order to do the icloud restore.
I selected the latest icloud backup (ipad) and it transfered all the settings and apps BUT not the most important things: CONTACTS and CALENDAR.
What is going on? and how to fix it?

I understand that you are not seeing the contacts and calendars on a iPhone 4s. I would first take a look in Settings > iCloud and make sure that those options are turned on. Take a look at the article below for more troubleshooting options.

My new iPhone 6 was working fine last night. I woke up this morning and it was completely blank. I tried charging it incase the battery had run out - nothing. I tried resetting it by pressing the home button and on/off button -still nothing. Anyone any ideas or should I just take it back

New Macbook Pro display not working

I've had a 15" Macbook Pro for about 2 months and haven't had any problems with it before, but suddenly the screen won't wake up from sleep. The backlight still works. The volume buttons still make the popping noises when I press them. The computer goes to sleep, but I can't shut it down. When I hold down the power button it makes a noise like it's shutting down, but the backlight stays on.
I read something about it possibly being a problem with the RAM chip, but I can't shut the computer down for me to open up the case safely. Mac upgraded the RAM so maybe they did something wrong?

Well you can force quit by continuing to hold the power button down.
