Why my iphone not showing the plug icon on battery even it is 100% charge ,lightning icon is not changing .and also the rotation of the screen is not working ..what should i do?its is new just used it for one day.

If it is that new, I'd suggest you take it to your Apple Store so they can assess it and/or show you how to put it thru its paces.

Holy smokes, I thought I was losing my mind, but that's the exact same thing that's started happening to me since this whole 4.3.1 "upgrade" disaster started - hooking it up to the wall charger overnight, wake up in the morning and it's a brick requiring multiple attempts to restart.
It's also randomly and spontaneously crashing - it'll be on the table or couch beside me, I'll catch movement out of the corner of my eye and look over and see a silver apple.

I used an iCloud back up to initiate my new iPhone 5 and it seems that the new phone is not working properly.

Unlocked iphone 5 not working properly

I bought a brand new unlocked iphone 5 on ebay off of a seller (a legit seller). I got my phone today, and started to set my phone up and then I noticed the camera would not work. When I open the camera app, it is just a blank screen. SOMETIMES, the frontal view camera will work, and when I would switch it back to the regular view, it would just freeze and be blurry. and sometimes, the frontal view doesn't even work. I talked to a friend who is very good with phones and she suggest that there was probably a problem with unlocking the phone. She thinks the phone was not unlocked properly and I was wondering if that seems like its the case? I was wondering what I could even do now, because I can't just get a replacement phone from apple because it will not be unlocked. I am wondering what are my options?? I am already trying and getting a refund from the ebay seller, but I have no way of buying the iphone 5 online or at any T mobile store since it has been "discontinued". I was wondering what I can do???

All you can do is return the phone to the seller. It is defective. If you want an iPhone 5, you will have to continue to look for one via a 3rd party seller. Be advised, however, that you must make sure the phone has been complete wiped, and Find My iPhone has been turned off, or you will not be able to use the phone.

IPhone 5 not working properly with USB interface in Honda Accord.

The iPhone 5 seems not to work properly with the USB interface in my 2012 Honda Accord. It says I have 500 songs when I only have 430, it skips over songs and freezes during play.

I actually have a different problem. I am unable to play Pandora through my USB connection in my 2012 Honda Accord SE with my iPhone 5. I can't get map directions through my speakers or any sounds at all. Any idea if a fix will be available?

Camera lock screen iPhone 5 not working properly after upgrade to iOS 8

After I installed iOS 8 on the iPhones 5 of my and my wife's the camera on the lock screen isn't working properly anymore. When I swipe up, the camera starts but the screen turns black within less then a second.
On the iPad 2 and the iPad Air (both upgraded to iOS 8) I don't have this problem. It seems to be iPhone 5 specific.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Having the same problem. I'm on an iPhone 5 and I have updated to 8.0.2. When I go to apps directly from the lock screen (timer, calculator, camera) it opens up then immediately turns into a black screen. It appears that removing my passcode fixes this bug, but I can't have an unsecured phone. Please help Apple!

New movies files not working properly

I have a new all in one HP pc with Windows 8. I have completed all pc updates and including latest Java. I have downloaded Itunes 12 and imported my old Itunes library from my network drive. My itunes library was created on an XP system and I still have it mapped to my Network Drive as it is 2TB in size.
The library contents are all fine and everything works. My problem is now any new movies m4v, mp4 which I import does not work. Itunes will upload the files, which then appear in the Home Video section. When I try to add artwork, or move file into 'movies' or even play the film Itunes goes into 'Not Responding' and I have to shut it down from from task menu. This issues only occurs with new movies. New music is fine.
I have tried to use alternative compatibility option none of these work.
Does anybody know how I can get my new movie content to work? btw the files are good as I have tried them on another system and they work just fine.

Backlight on iphone 3G not working properly.

the light on my iphone 3G is really really dim. i can barely make out anything. for a while the battery wouldn't seem to hold charge, and the phone was dead unless i plugged it in. that problem SEEMS to have corrected itself, as i have been walking around today, i have made a phone call successfully.... fingers crossed about that. BUT the light is still dim and the brightness setting in settings does nothing....
any thoughts? thanks!

Am I the only one who thinks this is disgusting?
I am an application developer and have been seriously hampered by this issue, which I wrongly attributed to an app I was working on.
What is worse is that it still isn't fixed! All I have managed to do is narrow it down to the type of operation that causes the crash - the one thing the that makes the iPhone an interesting proposition - its' internetwork connectivity! As long as your app doesn't go online, it shouldn't crash (provided memory allocation, etc... is all written properly)
What the he11? (I can't believe that word is censored!). This is unbelievable! How come the Apple apps do not have this issue? A suspicious mind might think that there is something foul going on here...
Apple - If you ever want to be taken seriously by the development community, you have got to fix these issues. I was annoyed by the DRM, paying for the 'priviledge' of developing on the iPhone, the poor emulator (you can't even turn off the network stack to test loss of connectivity), buying a device and a mac, not to mention learn a new (lesser in my opinion) IDE in XCode - but this is disgusting.
How are you ever going to convince business to put money into this platform if the software that they develop could have the rug pulled out from under it at any time (Re. The application crashing).
I am starting to think that Apple has even more disdain for their customers than most regular PC developers I know...
This issue needs fixing - no ifs, no buts and no bloody fancy widgets! The basics have to work if this platform is going to be taken seriously and not just be a forum for another free f@rt machine app.

Iphone 3gs not working properly after update to ios4

I updated my 3gs to ios4 and have had nothing but problems since doing so. My battery is draining faster than ever, I have had problems syncing with the exchange server at work which has always worked perfectly before, my reception is horrible in places where it used to be just fine, such as my house. I am constantly dropping calls in my house where I know my phone worked just fine before. I know Apple says their formula for figuring signal strength is inaccurate and has been for years, but that really has nothing do to with the fact that my phone used to work at my house and now it doesn't. Regardless of what the signal shows, I know I used to talk on my phone at my house and now it's a real pain in the a** to try to get through a conversation. Also many of my apps such as weather and stock apps will not update sometimes for a couple of days, no matter where I am or what the signal strength says. Has anyone else had a combination of these problems and if so any luck fixing any of them?

I would start by doing this fix and see if that helps out any of your issues.
I would suggest to sync everything and then back it up, restore your device to 'new', download this new exchange fix and then either restore your phone or better, re-sync you phone.

New 'resume' feature not working properly

Hi All!
As there does not seem to be a manual for Lion, I am hoping someone can answer the following questions for me:
I have assigned various applications to different desktops (spaces). Unfortunately, after a system restart, these are not restored to their assigned desktops, but all open in desktop 1. I think the 'resume' idea is great, but this kind of spoils it for me. Am I just doing something wrong?
Also, Lion does not remember whether an application was closed or open. It will just open any 'active' application to a full window, which is also kind of annoying. So, yes, resume is an interesting feature, but unless Lion remembers the exact state the app was in before restart, it is completely useless.
I am hoping that I am just missing something like a setting or such, and that one of you has already found out how to change it.

I don't have one, so I'm not certain what to look for, but MOST of the User stuff is kept in...
/Users/nnnn/Library/Preferences/
One interesting one that I find is..
Users/nnnn/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.keyboardtype.0003930b0244.plist
Likely the numbers before .plist will be different on yours, try dragging that, (those), file(s) to the desktop, (we can drag them back later if need be).
Then log out and back in, might have to you Keyboard setup or the Control Panel to setup the KB again.

Outlook Calender and iphone sync not working properly (windows 7 os)

I try to sync through itunes and contacts work fine, but the calender only comes through partially. Single events work fine, but events (on outlook) which extend more than a day are completely ignored by itunes sync and don't show up on the iphone calender.

Alright... I think I have worked this out.
Clearing history alone was not enough. I had to clear the history THEN reboot the phone. My events seem to be coming though now. Interesting though... on events coming from iphone to outlook the right click mouse menu is disabled. If I want to delete, edit or alter that event in outlook I have to left click and actually open it.

Iphone 5 not working properly

Hi, Recently my iphone 5 has been acting up a lot. first it started to lag a lot, then battery icon will tell me it's fully charged, but it's not. Now the screen will turn green (sometimes it will have lines appear) turn off and turn back on. not sure, but Before this, there was a storm and the electricity left and came back very fast multiply times. It has suffered a few big drops with a otter box on, and was left charging in a car that was turned off ( Not sure if that would effect it ). I have backed it up and restored it and it is still doing this. I have apple care and what not so replacing it isn't a big deal, but I just want to know what I can do. Thanks.
