New iPhone 5s 64Gb works fine but glitters in video and sound while gaming and maps
just got a new one and cannot use it in full
It works perfect until I start a game or open maps or navigation.
Then the image and sound rattle as if it's a gpu malfunction.
Release iOS 7.0.4 and I do not know whether the problem is the result of updated OS or else.
The second totally the same iPhone works fine with no such problems.
Should I exchange it or it's some sort of the software problem?
Erased and restored from scratch 3 times, no change.
Edit - I've tried rebooting/reinstalling - All of the usual!

and i mean the phone would have been activated in the first place with the sim card you get given when you first get the phone.
trying to activate the phone with another sim card that you did not get when you brought the phone may result in you not being able to activate it

It sounds as if your graphics chip (on the logic board) is failing. The other answer could be that your screen is not well, but I lean more towards the graphics chip. If you have Apple care or are still under warranty, call Apple.

Mail not working on my iPhone 5s and there is nothing i can do about it.. can anyone advise what to do
i also can add any mail addresses or open any mails ... latelty the phone is heating up as well... this all happend on Thursday morning, it was in charge over night and in the morning , no mail working nothing opening etc... and phone is hotter than usual when charging. and when connected to i tures it does not charge.

Put new battery in ipod. works fine but windows cant access
a few days ago I successfully put a new battery in my ipod.
I followed all the instructions and it has worked fine: charges plays all the music nothing weird.
Then I tried to hook it up to my computer and my itunes doesnt recognize it, windows sees it but I cant access it (says Ipod on drive G). then i went through the process of updating it (2005-11-17) but after a while of attempting to initialize it says "cannot mount ipod". once i click OK it disappears from My Computer and the ipod updater closes.
i also get this prompt before anything:
- drive not ready prompt:
"the drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive and make sure that a disk is insterted and that the drive door is closed"
I did theother 4 R's as well before this and even changed the cable just to make sure. any thoughts???There is a possibility that when you plugged in your hard drive, after installing the new battery, it didn't plug all the way in. This is what happened to me. I just opened up the case and made sure that the hard drive was plugged in correctly. after that it worked fine.

I did theother 4 R's as well before this and even changed the cable just to make sure. any thoughts???they are these blue straight plastic things with a little wedge hook doo dad on the end. they couldnt open the ipod initially , i used an exacto knife and pryed it open a little then got the plastics in there. Like changing a bike tube they give you two "irons" to work with. one to hold it open and the other to slid towards the top and bottom. it pops right open. you need to open it from the sides not the bottom or top. The mini i have no idea how to open i also thing the nano is built like the mini. I am sure if you google the battery replacement product it comes with instructions (but make sure you have good eyes, the writing and examples are TINY.

getting an error message "video rendering error 60" when burning a new final cut pro project to Blu ray. Burning to regular DVD works fine. I have burned many other projects successfully to blu ray. What is this message and how do I fix it?
If this same timeline can be exported to other file formats and can be shared successfully to DVD, possibly it's the longer render time in the Blu Ray processing that is the problem. In the Finder in Applications, right click Final Cut Pro dot app, choose Get Info and verify that Prevent App Nap is checked. If it isn't, check it and try again.

Would appreciate in connecting Remote App on iPad to iTunes. It used to work find, before iTunes 11.0 - but now pop up window to input 4 digit code does not appear. Any ideas how to prompt window to open on iMac? Remote App works OK, but says that Home Sharing is not Turned On, although it is. Both devices are logged into my profile account.
You no longer need the 4 digit code in iTunes 11.
iTunes (10.0.1 or later)
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
iTunes 11 or newer: Turn on Home Sharing in iTunes by going to File > Home Sharing> Turn on Home Sharing.
iTunes 10.7 or older: Turn on Home Sharing in iTunes by going to Advanced > Turn on Home Sharing.
Connect iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to a Wi-Fi network that is connected to the local network that your Mac or PC is also connected to.
Open the Remote app (software version 2.0 or later) on your mobile device.
Turn on Home Sharing in the Remote Settings screen. Make sure to sign into the same Home Sharing account you used to sign in to from iTunes on your computer.
Once Home sharing is enabled for both your computer and your mobile device, Remote app will be be able to view and control audio and video playback in your iTunes library.

the speaker of my iphone sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. it happens w/some APPS. I can hear a phone call wisth the speakers but not a video of you tube, itunes, etc. Does anyone know how can this be fixed?

i had the verizon toolbar working fine, until ff came out with the latest update. There is a strip within the toolbar where it once was (where i could access it). It's saying it's abled (not disabled). What gives? i contacted verizon and they said it may have something to do with active x?

Most of the question is in the discussion header. I have a Tango TRX bluetooth speaker that worked fine for three weeks with my third generation iPad. I started having trouble connecting and recieved the "not supported by iPad" message. It connects just fine until I open any app that requires sound and at thet point I recieve the message and the device disconnects. The Tango still pairs flawlessly with my laptop which is not an Apple product. How could a product suddenly become unsupported?

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.
