New iPhone 6 cannot upload photos to iPhoto -"locked"

I bought a new iPhone 6Plus and now cannot figure out how to upload photos into iPhoto. It gives me a message to tap "trust" on the phone, but I don't know where that is!

I searched Flikr and Yahoo for a solution, and Yahoo says the trouble is in iPhoto. I checked my Flikr account, and iPhoto extensions are enabled.
I need to upload some school and alumni photos, so I sure could use some help. I am Not computer proficient. Thank you.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

Suddenly cannot upload photos from iPhoto to websites like ebay

I am attempting to create listings on Ebay and cannot upload photos from Iphoto like I used to. This happened on another website as well where I attempted to upload photos from Iphoto onto the site and it wouldn't work. I was able to upload to Facebook and use the pictures that way, but cannot do that for Ebay.
With the Ebay issue, I'm able to get to Iphoto by clicking on the browse button in Ebay, but when Iphoto comes up, it's frozen and I can't move the page at all. I'm have to "force quit" Safari to even be able to continue using the computer.
I am using a Mac Mini, Mac OS X Lion (Version 10.7.5). Safari is Version 6.1 (7537.71). All software is up to date.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

I cannot upload photos from IPhoto to Facebook, Gmail or my Blog. I get the answer that says that "IPhoto uploader" is not functioning.

There is no "Upload" command in iPhoto. The command you want is "Import".

Hello,
I'm really struggling with Iphoto on my MacBook Pro.
The version of Iphoto is Iphoto 09 (8.1.2) and my Macbook Pro is a couple of years old and running O S X 10.5.8.
I've always been able to just upload photos really easily from both my Iphone (3GS) and my camera.
For a couple of weeks, I upload photos, and can see them there uploading. Everything seems to be working totally fine. But as soon as I quit Iphoto, they vanish. They're not in 'last upload' or 'last 12 months' or any folders I drag photos into or set up specifically.
It's like I didn't upload them at all. No matter where the image is from or how big it is.
I don't really know what to do. I've moved all my images into Aperture too, so I don't lose them, but I really, really don't understand how Aperture works whereas Iphoto always used to be so straightforward!
I don't think it's a storage issue, as I don't have that many images and most are small ones only taken with my iphone.
Please can anyone help me? I'd be really grateful for any advice.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Since new update I cannot upload photos to websites

Sine Forefox automatically installed the latest update just the other day, I cannot upload any photos to other websites.

On Gumtree for example there is a button ot upload photos, which I click it nothing happens.
Gumtree is a website (Google tells me), so you're accessing that via a Web Browser - Safari, Chrome, Firefox or similar. So, the problem is with this app, not iPhoto. You need to ask on a forum for whatever browser you are using.

Cannot upload photos to twitter on ios 8.1

Since upgrading to ios 8.1 on iPhone 5S cannot upload photos to twitter. "Your Tweet couldn't be sent right now, saved as a draft" Tried resending numerous times with no luck. Checked settings on phone and could not find anything preventing me from uploading to twitter.

Which mail client are you using?
Can you mail directly from the Photos.app using the "Share" options?
Apps, that have not been updated to iOS 8 compatible versions cannot see all photos, only the photos in the "Recently added" album. As a work-around send photos directly from the Photos.app or add the photos to an album. Then other apps should be able to access the photos. There is also a bug with accessing photos by third-party apps that will be fixed in the next iOS8 update.

Regarding iOS 7.0 you have totally lost the plot.
We buy apple why?
Quality.
Intuitive interface.
Stable software.
Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. Overly complicated ugly and generally change for the sake of apples paranoia since the death of Steve Jobs.

I am having the same problems as this person. I see that someone said there is no way to retrieve the pictures once it gets stuck in recovery mode.
Then further along someone said that there are data retrieval methods except they have something to do with jail breaking a phone.
My phone is already jail broken. It was kind of a gift from the company I work for- it was a fellow employees before. He jail broke it and then it was given to me. After I got it I activated the 4 and tried to back up everything. It didn't work and "Springboard" forced the phone into safety mode. So I could use it with the old dude's apps and my contacts. I made the mistake of using the phone for wedding dress shopping with a friend. I took tons of pictures.
After this I found out the messages I was seeing meant it was jail broken. At&t said to force restore the phone - iTunes wouldn't recognize it in safety mode. I'm an idiot and didn't realize what this meant for my pictures. It didn't work (error 1611) - thankfully. Now it is stuck in recovery mode (iTunes icon and USB cable picture).
Can I access that media in any way? It never suceeded restoring itself so is it still there? The phone is jail broken already so is there a method I can use?

Photos and some other items are added back after the restore has completed, you may need to wait a while.

IPhoto states server did not reply so I cannot email photos from iPhoto

I cannot email photos from iPhoto. I checked the outgoing mail server and port and they are correct. When I try to email photos the message i'm getting is the server did not reply check your internet connection and try later.. but my internet connection is fine. Any suggestions? I have Yosemite 10.10.3 software installed.

Do you have two-step verification enabled and are trying to mail from your iCloud account?
Then check this solution:
If you had two-step verification enabled, you have to set up an app-specific password for iPhoto, if you want to use iPhoto as a Mail client.

This solution is for those of you using 2-step verification for your Apple ID and are using iCloud as the mail server that you are trying to mail photos with.
I too had this issue. The problem in my case occurred because I had setup 2-step authentication for my Apple ID. If you have done this then you will get the error message "the mail server did not recognize your email/password...". To solve the problem go to:
https://appleid.apple.com
Click "Manage Your Apple ID"
Verify your identity with the device you selected (if this step does not show up then you have not likely set up 2-step authentication and this is not your solution)
Click Password and Security in the left column
Click Generate an app-specific password
Enter iPhoto as the name of the app
Copy the password and paste this into the password box in iPhoto where you would normally enter your apple ID (in the mail account section in iPhoto preferences).
And...voila' (I hope)

Cannot drag photos into iPhoto '09

I just got a new MacBook Pro and I installed iPhoto '09 and I noticed something odd. I cannot drag photos into iPhoto to import them. I remembered in the previous version on my old MacBook Pro I was able to drag photos to the app (in the photo area) and it would import them. Now the only way dragging works is if I drag the photos to the iPhoto icon on the dock.
Anyone see this before? I think I might have some strange dragging problem because I can no longer drag attachments from Entourage and save them to folders I have to manually click the save button. I'm not sure if this is related. Thanks

It was my Helvetica and Helvetica Neue fonts. They got jacked some how. I moved them and then copied them back and then rebooted. That fixed it. I guess you used to be able to disable and renable them from font book but they were locked so I did it manually. Fixed it.
