New iphone cant use it, empty itunes
I'm trying to set up the phone for the very first time, after selecting the language and country it tells me i need to connect to itunes so i did but nothing happens an empty screen pops with the icon showing the iphone is connected but nothing else, on the iphone it says connected to itunes.
Because of that i tryed the wireless version but that gives an error "We're sorry, we are unable to ...".
it's a brand new phone and a christmas gift it ***** i can't use it.

No, but you do not need iTunes to setup a new iPhone 5s. Create an iCloud backup for anything you want to transfer to the new iPhone.

Are you meaning rintones that you create from existing files?
If so - then Google and you will get lots of hits on 'how to'.
Once you have the ringtones in your iTunes library then make sure in iTunes prefs>General tab - the Tones option is selected. Once your device shows in the Devices list make sure you select from the Tones tab in the Devices window the tones you want to d/l.

I know that iCloud backs-up apps and other stuff to your phone incase you want restore from a back-up if you start a New iPhone. My question is if I start a new iPhone (not use the restore from back-up option) and redownload apps like (Games, Instagram), would my pics show up on Instagram and would my Games show it was saved and the acccomplisments will remain from the last place I left out.

Icloud or itunes backup, only backs up app data, not the app itself.
so if you restore as new, then there is no app data on your phone, you start out new... -

Bought a new iPhone 6 and synced from iTunes but vibration doesn't work. I did the reset option using side and home buttons but in vain. Please don't tell me to set up a new device coz its gonna be a hassle restoring apps, emails, contacs...etc.
Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

Contacts are not part of the backup. Contacts, when using your phone as intended, are synched to your computer's Outlook, Address Book or with a cloud service. If you haven't been using your phone as intended, then your contacts are gone.

Any hints?Well to start your iPhone 4S does not have 4G... it just shows 4G at the top of the screen..
Try turning SIRI off and on.. if that does not work
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings..
Because SIRI is a network connection to a server nothing more.. it is not on your device so nothing is wrong with your phone..
Also SIRI is in BETA... and not 100% -

In short. No, you cannot unsync. If you had a back up from your old iPhone you cand restore from a back up.
In iTunes go to Edit > Preferences > Devices > and select the latest back up.
Before you synced your phone did you have it set up with the PhotoStream or iCloud? The pictures would be saved there. Or if you had them sync to a file on your computer. -

When I first plugged phone in, itunes automatically opened but it was a new itunes with none of my files on. But if I was to open my itunes and then plug phone in, it recognises devices but freezes.

My father in law has a brand new iPhone 5s using iOS 8.1.1 - under settings, general, keyboard, all keyboards... There is no option for 'predictive'. Has anyone else had this? And if so, how can we make it appear? Many thanks!
