Hi everyone! I tried to install the new iOs 7 on my iphone 4, but it wasn't completed (showing error 4005). Now, my iphone is stuck on the itunes' logo with the usb cord, and I can't use my phone. Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -
iphone 4S - Windows Vista - 64 Bit (and photoshop elements 9.0) is not recognizing my iphone as a camera - therefore I cannot download pictures from my iphone. iTunes works fine with the iPhone, but I do not see it in "My Computer" when connected via USB. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes....still nothing. Any ideas?

will i lose any of my stuff?When you open iTunes and plug in iPhone (iPod) to computer, it appear in the left bar. Then just simply right click on you iPhone (iPod) and choose Transfer Purchases, this should copy your purchased items to your computer.

I have a 2 yr old Iphone 4 and have not backed up or connected to Itunes up for 1 yr. I have new Windows 7 computer and want to connect and copy Itunes backed up folder from external HD (a year ago) to new computer and install new Itunes and new IOS. What steps should I take and what precautions? I don't want to lose any data on my phone such as music, photos, contacts, notes, texts etc, nor lose music from prior backed up Itune folder. I have tried a different USB to no avail. Both cables work on my old Dell so I don't believe they are the issue.
I uninstalled iTunes as directed by Apple Support and reinstalled. Apparently, Apple Mobile Device Support is not loading with it because it does not show up in programs. -

Its definitely Itunes not my ipod. Problem does not exist on a windows xp machine I plugged my ipod into.
I have created a new user on my vista machine and this has not worked. I am just about to uninstall quicktime and itunes and all other apple products from my machine to resinstall them (I will also do a registry clean after the uninstall) I'm getting really fed up with this. There must be a better way of sorting out this problem than this. What actually is causing the issue. Do apple have support guys on this forum? -

Currently itunes tells me that my iphone is connected to a different itunes account and will sync, but delete everything from my phone. How do I make itunes sync and update my phone without deleting all the current information on my phone?
Iphone will sync with one and only one cpomptuer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer. This is the design of the iphone.
It will erase the content when you sync.
Why not update from the comptuer with which you normally sync? -
i broke my old computer and it had my music library and stuff on it and my iphone has some of the music on it but not all of it and i know how to transfer my purchasses from my phone but how do i get all the old stuff from my computer onto my new itunes library????

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -
I changed my password on my computer a few weeks back. Since then my iphone 5s will not let me know when I have a new email. In order to get my emails I have to push the mail icon, wait for it to connect and check to see if there are any new emails. Upon doing this, my emails will come through. I went to the Apple store today and they tried putting in my new password on my iphone. When I left the store they had accomplished what I went in for. After getting home, I noticed I had not been receiving any email notices. Pressed email icon and there were 2 emails waiting to be opened. Checked password on iphone and it had reverted back to old password. I have deleted my Yahoo account 3 times, changed password and it still goes back to the old one. All this is quit frustrating since I don,t live in Chandler and have to travel 40 miles, one way, to see a Genius about the same problem.
But it is I jsut can sync, back up files, or anything becuase its stuck at this screene and wont do execute when i click either of those button

You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

okay. when i connected my iphone 5 to itunes it replaced all of the data from my old iphone 3gs (contacts, apps, notes, bookmarks,photos, music, everything you can possibly think of) with my new iphone 5's data. You're iPhone was probably set to automatically sync with your iTunes upon plugging it in. Best option is to restore from a backup, either on iCloud or your computer.

Check your system for possible Malware. But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.

I just got the ipod nano about 3 weeks ago. It worked great up untill today. It would not turn on, or connect into my computer. I took it back to best buy and they said it had a defulted battery, and that I needed to call the company. So I did and they had me send it in. Will they send me a new ipod, or a refurbished one. I havn't even had the ipod long enough, and I paid good money for it. I'm hoping to get a new one, because it wasn't my fault.
