New iPhone home page.

Has anyone else noticed that the iPhone photo of the soon to be released itunes widget also shows a different clock widget? Instead of the static 10:15 it is now showing 9:42 which corresponds to the time at the top of the iPhone display. Ahh maybe an up-to-date temperature reading displayed on the weather widget is forth coming?

That is cool, I never noticed that, thanks for sharing! Also, the calculator widget is different... same widget that is on the iPod touch in the main apple page.

I have the BIG DOG 16 gig iPhone and I am only limitted to 9 pages of APPS.
For what I PAID for this GREAT Phone, there should be NO LIMIT as to how many APPS. that I can download until and UNLESS my memory is FULL, which it is NOT even half full yet.
APPLE: Please change this LIMITATION, because there seems to be thousands of APPS. to choose from. Just as you have NO-LIMIT on the number of songs that I can download, I would like it to be the SAME for my APPS.

New BT Home Page

Is anyone else finding the New BT Home Page and most others on the site very very slow to load. I’m using a Mac with OS10.9. Safari, the native browser is what I use mostly but Firefox and Google Chrome are almost as bad. I’m having no problems at all with any other site. I’ve done the usual resets and emptied caches etc. Makes no difference. The BTYahoo site is fine. Has anyone else found this.
I’ve flagged it up on the survey box I keep getting pestered with.

I have just posted a similar question. And the answer is yes I am having the same problem and I am operating on a iMac
OS X 10.9. It seems to me, looking at your post replies that they are all operating with Microsoft.
From what I have found out BT seem to be more Microsoft friendly than Macintosh. You can't even download "Desk Top Help" because its not Mac supported.

home start page does not have mozilla firefox logo it says google? and when l alter it next time l log in its back to google homepage.

New Yahoo Home Page Looks Awful!

After having an email account with them for years, I am considering deleting it althgether. Today I noticed Yahoo changed its home page, leaving too much up to the user to redesign it with too much of his own personal information. In some places the words on the page overlap with one another. It is too much trouble to search through their groups to find an appropriate one to post a question. Since I use Firefox to access Yahoo, I thought that the moderators or users would know of a solution if there is one since I am inclinded to quit using Yahoo if it cannot provide a presentable home page, which was my default under Firefox.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.

Since a few days I am a happy owner of a iPhone. It works very fine, but just one think: Is it possible to set the icon 'contacts' onto the start page of iPhone?

Also, keep in mind that if you go to Settings> General> Home Button, you can set double-clicking the home button to go to your Favorites list. While it's not quite the same thing, it's a quick way to access at least some of your contacts

New Tab Home Page?

Heya folks, is it possible at all to set it so that when i go File > New Tab in Safari, that it opens as my homepage (iGoogle). Ive looked through preferences but cant see anything and i suspect it maybe possible with applescript but have no idea how to do that.

After updating to my iPhone to iOS5, Safari pages open but then immediately go back to the iPhone home page.

Force-close the Messages app: from the home screen, double-tap the home button, locate Messages in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, tap the home button again. Try Messages again.

Why do the options for a new Home page always appear first when I sign in when I already have a Home page?

The screen page for creating a new Firefox Home page always shows up first when I sign on.....but, I already have a Home page and have to click again to get there.

Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.

I followed about:config to set the new tab to open my home page, but it is not working

i am using windows 8 and firefox version 20.0.1...
i tried to set the new tab page to open to my home page ... i followed the about:config, browser.newtab.url and set it to my home page ... but it is not working at all ... it still not open to my home page ... i saw it was changed to my homepage in the setting but it is just not working at all...
i quit firefox and open firefox again and the setting in browser.newtab.url back to the default ... the firefox did not save the setting in browser.newtab.url to my home page...
it works in mac but not windows...
IT IS NOT WORKING IN WINDOWS 8 ... WHY ... any help?...

What page is opening? The default 9-thumbnail page? Some other page?
Extensions can override your selections for new tab, home page, and search provider. Try reviewing and disabling nonessential, recently installed, or unrecognized extensions here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

New Home Page (with EMail Previews)

Two of our email subaccounts are not getting the new email home page, where the preview of your emails are listed. In the last few days once in every few days the new email homepage appears.The next time we go to the page it is the old home page with previews of the email. The only individual who always gets the new home page with the preview of their email is the main account holder. Can someone explain why this is happening?

"Welcome to your new iPhone" - every sync

This is a response to an old post on another discussion, but that discussion has now been archived and no longer permits replies.
Issue in old post was:
*I just had my phone swapped out at an Apple store for a replacement.*
*Everthing backed up to the new phone OK but every time I plug in my phone, in iTunes, I get the "Welcome to your new iPhone" window with the "Continue" button. When I click it, it takes me to the normal iTunes window looking at the settings for my phone. It does this every time I plug in phone.*
I had the same issue with my replacement iPhone. Solution (for me anyway) is to quit iTunes with the iPhone connected, and then reopen iTunes. The same 'Welcome to your new iPhone' screen appears, however with two extra buttons 'Never Register' and 'Register Later'. Clicking on 'Never Register' solves the issue and the 'Welcome' screen no longer appears repeatedly.
Hope that helps anybody searching for a solution to this problem.

happened with me and was resolved automatically after re-connecting it 10-15 times..
when clicked on continue takes you to the registration page where you need to fill the details and it gets registered.
and the new iphone startup page doesn't show up anymore...
