New iPhone

I have recently sent my phone off for repair, they have sent me back a new one. i had completed a back up before I sent it off. I now plug my phone in but it has only transfered over my messages/contacts etc NOT my apps. My apps are still showing in my iTunes library but wont sync over to my phone.
Any ideas

I agree, unplug and replug your router, then reset your iPad by holding down the sleep and home buttons, ignore the red power down slider, and wait til you see the silver apple. let it reboot and then try your connection.
Chances are rebooting the router will help. You may also need to talk to cox. They may need to reset something on their end.

Voice memos in iOS7, on new iphone 5s cuts off recordings

Hi,
Voice memos has always been super reliable in previous versions but on a new iphone 5s with ios7 I'm finding it cuts off recordings very unpredictably - sometimes after less than a minute sometimes after a quarter hour or so.
I've seen other threads where the issue has been described but this has been explicitly on longer recordings or where the recording is finished so wanted to raise this again as an issue on new hardware with recordings of any length where the recording stops by itself.
The bug is making the app unusable at present which is a shame as it looks like it could be a greatly improved app.
Any ideas?

The worse thing about this is that Apple Support does not appear to know about it and steered me in the wrong direction. Today I tried it again and lost another 50 minute recording.
Apple needs to fix this and let users and tech staff know ASAP.
This has now cost me 2 hours of client time, plus 3 hours of tech support. The client information is priceless to me. I will not be able to retrieve the content of those discussions, even if I conduct the meetings again. Too many variables were at play.
I am beyond disillusioned that this issue is being reported in various threads throughout the fall and has not been addressed, and that phone support is unwaware, so more users will end up with the same terrible losses.
It is, in my opinion, highly irresponsible and a show of disrespect to customers to permit this to be occuring without warning users or applying fixes.

How do I create a new Apple ID for wife's new iPhone 6 Plus?

Our family has many Apple Devices (Mac Book Air, iMac, iPhone 6, iPad 3rd Gen. iPod 5th Gen. and as of today a new iPhone 6 Plus. All of our Devices have always been using one Apple ID. This has created zero issues until now. With my wife's new iPhone 6 Plus I downloaded Find Friends and also Find My iPhone. I can't find any way to set up her iPhone 6 Plus tied only to her email address and cell phone number. Whenever I open Find Friends on either device and select the appropriate email address it changes the other device to that email address for Find Friends. I am beginning to think that now with two iPhones we will need to get my wife her own Apple ID. When I went to Create an Apple ID using her email address it won't allow it because her email address is associated as an alternate under my Apple ID. Reading Apple Support documents it shows using a common Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases but a separate Apple ID for iCloud if desired. Bottom Line, I think I have to Delete her email address from My Apple ID Account so that I can use that email for her new Apple ID. When I delete her email address from My Apple ID Account isn't that going to impact our shared Apps and iTunes Purchases?

No, she can use the existing AppleID for purchasing and use her own new AppleID for content syncing. If you wish to, you can set up Family Sharing and add her to your iCloud family. That will enable you to share certain resources such as calendars.

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. This issue is blocking my access to iTunes and any other file from my home computer. It keeps on telling me that I have to autorise my computer to pass on files, yet, it seems, for all this to happen, I need to get logged in through the phone's Apple ID. This of course is different to my one on my computer - and I have no password for it.
This phone is not stolen!! I payed still a fair bit for it. Am still in contact with the previous owner. He doesn't know how to fix the problem either.

Settings>general>resets>erase all content and settings.
That will put it back to its out of the box state. Set it up with your own apple Id.

You can always pre-order your new iPhone online and then start the mail in rebate by following this link: http://bit.ly/GGnDDC Or you can always go into the store location and do it all in store on the 19th when the phone is launched. I have not had wifi since November when I upgraded to the newest IOS version. I called the Apple help line and they told me some things to do and I tried them all and they worked for a few hours and then wifi shut off again. I kept doing what they told me and it worked for a couple more days and then I could never turn it on again. My blue tooth doesn't work either. I had to actually increase my data usage with AT&T becuase of this. When I did that in December I went to the Apple store and was told that it is a hardware issue and since my phone is out of warranty I would have to pay for a new phone because they could not fix the issue. My upgrade isn't up until June 2014 so not only do I have to wait for the upgrade and I am not paying for a new phone but I have to pay $10 plus extra a month on my cell phone bill because I was going over on my Data!!! I have been beyond upset about this and Apple is not doing anything about this nor did they offer up some way to resolve the issue because obviously it is not just some rare incident if several people are having this issue. Who knows how many people out there have had this issue and have not said anything about it. Now there is a newer update that I can't do because it requires wifi in order to download.
June can not get here fast enough and I may not go back to Iphone after dealing with this for so long with no help from Apple.

When you went back to the place where you purchased this phone, & asked them, what did they say?
No one here can help you with this, nor can/will Apple. You need to take this up with whoever you purchased this phone from.

Caller ID doesn't work in IOS7 on new Iphone 5s. Apple have told me there is no fix!

Caller ID does not work in my new Iphone 5s. It has never worked, IOS is completely up to date. Calls just come through as numbers regardless of whether the caller is in my contacts.
I have tried a factory reset and restore but no change. A call into my carrier was no help and they put me on to Apple who said that there was no fix. I am on the Three network in the UK.
I was told to change the language and then change back and that this would help but it didn't and the result was that my predictive messaging started completing words in French despite having been changed back to English. This was resolved with a factory reset but still no caller ID.
I've also had a problem with highlighting emails to delete but the tick box won't stay highlighted (although this is a little off topic).
Any help would be appreciated.

Check to see if in Settings > General > Restrictions and if Restrictions is turned on, look at the Require Password section and see if it is set to Immediately. If it is, then that will be what causes Touch ID to not be used when making purchases and would need to be set to a different time. Check out the article below for more information to make sure you are setup.
