New Italian Language Package - Mediaset Italia

I currently have RAI Italian language channel. I've heard that Dish Network also has a new Italian package called Mediaset Italia. I'd like to get it as soon as it is available.

If it still doesn't install, the disk is likely defective or a problem with the internal optical drive.
You can make a bootable 10.6 install USB as that might correct the defects on the 10.6 in the process

Please add mediaset italia. its an italian channel that has been in the states in the past year. Comcast and dish network have it. i really like fios but i love that channel more and i might have to switch with them if you dont have it by september. You are so advanced how come you cannot get it?

If they brought that on, something else would have to go.
Verizon seems to have hit a wall on band width. There isn't enough to kep adding channels.

N97 mini italian language package

recently my gf bought a N97 mini. Since she is Italian, we would like to configure the phone in Italian but this isn't available on the phone, and I can't find it on the internet. Any one who can tell me where to get it?

Cant install new language package on mobile dictio...

Hi,
im trying to install on my 5800 new language(thai)
i have english,hebrew.bulgarian,
when im install the thai language , the software want to remove other language and i need to choose , but i can remove only the hebrew language.
i want to remove the bulgarian, and there is no option to remove it..
i hope there is a solution for this problem..
there is a way to uninstall all the dictionary software and reinstall it with the language that i want to install ?

Regarding your concern in downloading a language package for your phone 5800 XpressMusic, actually it's possible you just have to open the diction ary application on your phone then once it prompts you Only English Language install, install other language? so press yes and it will direct you to the Nokia Website, but if you don't see it press Options inside the mobile dictionary and then look for Language and then you have there the selection download, same thing you'll be routed to the Nokia Website, just select the Language but make sure that the language is being used in your country because if your phone will not support it, you will not be able to use that language you downloaded.

Nokia does not offer user-installable language packages.
Nokia just creates different firmware versions with sets of different languages based on the countries/regions the phone is manufactured for.
At the factory, the phone receives an identifying "produc code" which determines also which firmware updates Nokia offers for it. So, when you use Nokia's Software Updater, or the over-the-ai (OTA) updating of firmware, the phone sends the product code value to a Nokia server, which then returns the correct firmware (including the fixed languages specified by that code) for that phone.
A Nokia service/repair center might switch the phone to a different firmware variant with different languages, but as the language combinations in firmware packages is fixed, you cannot choose languages individually.
So, in other words, there is no Nokia supported way for you to add just an individual language to your phone.

Upload italian language on my E70

i'am from Italy and i have just bought an new Nokia E70 on ebay from an UK seller. Mobile comes with English, Spanish and Portuguese languages.
Do you know how can i upload italian language? Is it sufficient to install the new firmware?

If the firmware package includes Italian, then it will be enough (and the only way, actually).
Note that at least currently, if you use, e.g., NSU, you will get the latest version of whatever firmware package (languages/operator software) that the phone had when it left the factory where it was made.

this is my first thread and may be I'm placing a stupid question and I apologize in advance.
I ordered Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium STUDENT-INT Code H5951Z/A and I will receive it in few days ( through the Italian Apple Store).
My doubt is related to the language, I'm an Italian Student and I would prefer to use this software by using the Italian Language.
Is the Italian Language available with this version?

Called Apple yesterday and they told me that as far as it has been purchased in Italy there "would" be the Italian language available.
I don't want to appear too difficult on this topic, my concern is that once the Adobe original package will be opened it will be mine, with or without the ITA language.
Maybe the code H5951Z/A tells it but I can't find anything related to it on the web.

I buyed my E72 in Paris but there isn't the italian language
in the Control Panel->Settings->General->Personalization->language
Can i install the italian language or new FW with Italian Language.

Malfao, you should install the firmware for the italian market the, or for the "europe" version of E72, but this isn't possible as neithe the Nokia Software Updater, nor OVI Suite recognize the product code of your phone as Italy or Europe.
On the other hand, changing the product code is illegal and, as far as I know, useless with the N72.
Here is my suggestion: you can ask an official Nokia Point if they caccept to upload the new firmware for you (of course, they could charge this as it's not an under warranty repair). Maybe they refuse to do it as this could void warranty.
Remember that after the upload you'll lose partially the corrispondance with the kayboard. So, you'd better ask for the installation of the italian kayboard too.

Prog. o/p in Italian language

I need a favour from you.
There is a report called RFUMSV00 (in ALV) which we want to run in Italian language. But when we run the program it doesn't show a column HEADING, with logon language italian.
And we have a mini language pack for italy, could that be a issue?
Please help me how to do this.

In our system 4.6c system the headings seem to be correct in italian.

[BUG] Editing contacts with italian language set

This behaviors happens only when WebOS is set to Italian language:
1) when editing an existing contact, it shows up as a blank one, as if I was creating a new contact from scratch. Actually, the contact data is there, but somehow hidden! When changing it (so, actually, writing back from scratch), it does change, but can't see the original contents.
2) When creating a new contact, I can't add a phone number, while I can add other items (email, address, URL, etc). Saving it and then editing it, goes back to point 1. Thus, the only way to save a phone number is dialing it, then saving it from the Phone app.
I have an European GSM Pre, WebOS 1.4.1

First, when you do create a new contact (in Italian), what happens when you try to type in the Phone Number field? Does the cursor appear, or is the field grayed out? Does nothing happen when you tap on the "+ New Phone Number ..." field?
As long as I tap it, the field become dark grey, as it was somehow activated, but when I release my finger it comes back to normal and I can't type in it (no cursor).
Besides that, I can add a new contact. Other fields are working fine, but in the Email address and IM address field, the cursor doesn't appear on the very left (beginning) of the field. It stays almost in the middle, as it's keeping room for a button, and actually if I click on the left, it pops up something like an empty list or menu. Besides this glitch, I can edit those fields.
By the way, the phone number field is the only one that is 2 lines long (in italian). I don't know if this means something, but maybe this screws the interface up.....
Second, what happens if you change your language selection from Italian to English, then try to edit an existing contact? Are you able to see existing text then?
Yes; it works perfectly.
Also, try creating a new contact with your language selection set to English. Are you able to enter a phone number at that point? How about editing a contact created with language set to English while still set to English. Can you see existing data within the contact editing screen?
Yes, everything works fine, as long as english (US) language is set.
Next, switch back to Italian and view the contact created under English. Can you edit existing information without it blanking out?
I can't see the existing information; I can't edit any phone number obviously, because the field can't be activated. If I try to overwrite data by writing on those field that I know they contain data, it doesn't work: name of the contact doesn't change, and editing the email address (ie. writing it back from scratch) adds another address.

Switching Apple ID of a individual Developer Program acct due to new italian Business Apple Store registration

Hello all. I have a individual iOS Developer Program Membership with Apple ID.
Until last year my membership payment invoice was missing my VAT ID, meaning it was useless for my country fiscal law (I live in Italy).
Now there is the new italian Apple Store for Business that's supposed to produce correct invoices for my country, but still I have no means to add my VAT ID to my Apple ID account.
I contacted the phone support, they told me I need to register to the Business Store with a *new* Apple ID.
So, supposing I create a new Apple ID, how do I switch my Developer Program membership to the new ID, provided it's an individual one with no multiple person/roles support?
Is really impossible to add my VAT number to my Apple ID?

Who do you want to be in email for support, etc.? Do you want to be kwarp on the internet and on a resume? What image do you want to project? Individual or business or phantom or...? How good are you at juggling both references? Which would you want on a business card?
I wouldn't want to strictly maintain two IDs (nick versus real), especially for the long term.
Pick one and stick with it. Let the other be incidental.
I also believe these are detailed when doing the contracts, with at least partial explanations of how they will be used, so you can ponder your way during the application process.
Developer ID/Name (as registered by you) shows up as 'seller' as I recall - different from the name version attached to the copyright tag. You could use 'kwarp' as seller with 'greg lieberman' after the copyright and at least for this example, use both.

There's a release planned in the near term. However, I don't know for sure if that will include localization as a priority. Have you suggested an enhancement request through http://www.novell.com/enhancement_request/ for getting this fixed?
If you need to quickly resolve this, maybe you can setup an english (or another supported OS Language) server running into a VM inside a server with italian language and you can make that a temporary install meanwhile italian localization is done.
