New items in the Add-on Bar

Suddenly a series appeared in the add-on bar: JS, J, F,SL, C ,I, A, CS and I don't know where they came from. What's going on? My other computer doesn't have them.
I am using FF version 18.0.2

Well, I ran two Anti-virus programs (Super Anti-Spyware & NOD32) on all files on drive C: and found only one Trojan which was removed.

Holding the cursor over each of the "newbies" I get:
JS Enable/Disable JavaScript
J Enable/Disable Java
F Enable/Disable Flash
SL Enable/Disable Silverlight
C Enable/Disable Cookies
I Autoload Images
A Enable/Disable Animated Images
CS Toggle Style
These turn red when I click to disable.
I haven't tested all but CS works and switches the screen to show the HTML of the screen.
When I look in "Customize Toolbar" I see the same things except they are red. I can move these to the toolbar but cannot move the blue ones from the toolbar to the "Customize..".
Now that I think about it, I think these may have appeared about the time I installed ReminderFox, but I'm not sure.
I have looked at all the Extensions and Plugins but none look like they might relate to this.
One other thing I notice different about my FF - on my wife's and my other computer the tabs have a small box on the right to click for a new tab. But that has been missing on my computer for a long time. Not a problem - Ctrl+T works fine. Once I removed FF but did not kill all the user stuff so reinstalling did not correct the situation.

How can I stop the Add-on Bar from appearing everytime a new tab or window is opened?

I have tried changing the "DataSourceMode" as below, now the insert command is working, but update command is not working.

Is your item getting added through Javascript client object model ? If yes, you can write in the success delegate of your list creation method the logic to create the subsite.

How do I turn off the add-on bar so it doesn't turn itself back on?

By right clicking on the menu I can turn on or off the various toolbars including the Add-on bar. But if I create a new tab or new window it turns on the add-on bar again. How can I turn it off so it does not reappear?

I have extension McAfee SiteAdvisor. And yes if I disable it the troublesome add-on bar stops reappearing. But SiteAdvisor does useful things even without displaying the add-on bar.

There is no "add tab or + tab" and no "list all tabs" button. I'm also missing the add-on bar that is supposed to be at the bottom. I'd love to try all the features but it's hard to do without these options.

Using the instructions posted, I am not able to customize the add-on bar. I cannot move or remove the elements there.

I went to the instructions about how to customize the add-on bar. These were basically the same as for the other bars which appear on the top of the browser which I've done many times before. I wanted to move some items to the left of the bar and I wanted to remove some items. I was not able to do either of these things. The icon which is the moveable hand would not appear when mousing over the elements on the bar. I was able to add and remove a separator element but it would place only to the left of all the elements. I was not able to place it in any other spot.

Some (possible) bug reports have been filed on the inability to rearrange all of the icons on the Add-on Bar. There may be some involvement of other add-ons causing that problem, but that is yet to be determined.

The note on that page indicates that the only update was changing the <max-version> to 4.0. I had already done that in the previous version of OSB that I have installed and doing just that did not solve the problem. What Acrobat SDK Technology I need to build a plugin that creates a new item to the Right-Click context menu?

I want to develop a plugin for Adobe Reader that will be invoked through a new item in the Right-Click menu.
What is the right SDK Technology to build this new item? Javascript, Interapplication Communication or a C/C++ plugin?

To add this to Acrobat, no license or fee is required - you can do it today with just the SDK and Acrobat.
However, to build a plugin for Reader, you will need to obtain a license from Adobe. Details are in the SDK under "Reader Integration Key License Agreement" (RIKLA).

I can't delete add on bar. I can only temporarly hide it. When I close the browser, then come back and open browser later, the add on bar is back again. This started right after version 11 ato uploaded to my PC. I use Windows XP, Service Pack 3.

Thank you. I have been using the Fox die (Graphite) 10.3 theme for about 4 years. In all previous versions of Firefox, had no problem. When I customized the settings, Firefox remembered these settings. I like to run browser with the absolute minimum of bars, so that I have maximum view of web pages.I have had no recent add on's in over a year. Since ReminderFox 2.1.4 was installed, I have deselected the 'Status/Add-on Bar Display 'Bow' and text on status bar' numerous times, but the setting never takes effect even after pressing the Apply and OK buttons.
The Add-on Bar, which has always been deselected from the View > Toolbars menu, shows as selected in the menu, and even though I deselect it manually, when I close Firefox and then reopen it, it shows again as selected in the menu.
