New iTunes problem

Hi,
I am wanting to ask about the new iTunes update, after being installed, it has rendered half of my music collection NOT to be played on my iPod/iPhone. Can somebody help me?
Is there a fix, or do i need to downgrade?

the problem is that video wont work right. its like listening to music it shows pic of video and name but i can't see no video but i can hear the sound.

New Itunes Problem 7.7

I installed the new itunes update 7.7 and now when I plug in my IPOD it freezes and I have to unplug the IPOD and reset it. 7.7 works fine until you plug in your IPOD does anybody know why???

my problem only started today Sunday 27th, my shiny new iphone3G syncs no problem and is recognised within 4/5 seconds. But my trusty 160gb classic just turns itunes to mush and doesn't show on the devices list in itunes and i have to use force quit to leave itunes, just doesn't respond although the classic i shows up in finder.

Really tired with new itunes problems ( HELP)

I have the newer verison of itunes and I am having issues... Most of the time I click the shortcut on the bottom of the lower left side of the screen and the pointer shows the program tring to open for a few seconds and nothing... In task manager it does not show the program to be working. I can go directly to the program ( not from the shortcut) and same problem. I have reinstalled the repair 3-4 times and nothing. When the program feels like working the program takes 45-60 seconds to open. The itunes folder is installed in ... "C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe"

A new iTunes problem

I was having problems with iTunes for a while and now I have a new one. I put iTunes in my startup folder because it won't launch when I click on it. And now when I restart Windows, I get an error pop-up that says and I quote "ITUNES CANNOT RUN BECAUSE SOME OF ITS REQUIRED FILES ARE MISSING. PLEASE REINSTALL ITUNES." I have the iTunes installer saved on my computer and I deleted iTunes and reinstalled it about 5 times. I also tried repairing the files, but nothing works. I tried all the troubleshooters on this site also. QuickTime and the Apple Software Updater works fine. I just want to put some songs on my iPod. Can anyone HELP???

You can prevent it if you transfer your old library from your old computer or backup from Time Machine. Copy the entire iTunes folder to the new computer. If you have nothing in iTunes on the new computer simply copy it over the old one in your Music folder. If you have things there we can deal with that later and put it somewhere else instead. Start iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and select the library folder you just copied, or if you copied it over the empty one just start iTunes and it will look for it there. Your phone should recognize this and be happy.

Downloading new itunes problem HELP !

When i go to download iTunes 7.5 it goes through the download proccess and an error popup that says " This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package. " comes up . HELP !

New Itunes problems

I downloaded the latest Itunes so I would be able to install IOS 7 on my 4S, and now all my music is gone from Itunes, and the majority of my apps vanished off of my phone. I backed up the phone prior to the upgrade in Itunes. How do I retrieve my apps, and Itunes music?

try playing one of the problematic songs in itunes for a few seconds. do you get asked to authorise the PC? if so, and if you do, do the songs transfer to your ipod afterwards?

I just recieved a new Iphone 4 ysterday, and am trying to install some apps but every time I try it says it failed to sync is it a messed up phone or a itunes problem?

Either the new Itunes is a horrible update or apple sent me a messed up phone, either way I have 2 problems with my new phone and the new Itunes. First I cannot install apps, after almost 30 times trying with restarts unplugs and major frustration building. Second when I first enter Itunes the bar at the pottom shows that I have ample storage room left on mu Iphone but when I click on the apps tab it says I have 2.3mb free what is going on?

Not completely sure. But if you think it is an iTunes issue...... follow through this: Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

Problem recreating new itunes profile on a new hardrive

I installed a new hardrive on my cpu ( old one is there and still works, just full). I had itunes on old drive and had money left in my shopping cart with earmarked songs to buy. Now, I am on the new drive, just installed a new itunes, and it looks like it carried over some of the library on old drive, but I would like to put the listing of the earmarked songs to buy back into the new shopping cart( empty now). I thought the Apple site where I went to the store to earmark the songs would have the list and automatically put it back into the new shopping cart. It is not there. How do I get my list back into the shopping cart? thanks for help, will

If the tracks were kept in the iTunes Store Shopping Cart, then they weren't being held on your system and transferring to a new drive shouldn't have affected anything. Make sure you're logged into the correct account on the iTunes Store. If you are, try logging out of your Store account and back in.
Note that using the Shopping Cart as a "wish list" isn't a good idea. Items can be removed from the iTunes Store at any time, and if you have one in your Shopping Cart, it can in some cases corrupt the Cart if an item is indeed removed. You should only use the Shopping Cart for items you plan to purchase very soon (within a day or so). If you want to create a "wish list", create a normal playlist and drag the items you want to save to that playlist from the iTunes Store. That will keep them for future purchase while not risking problems with your Shopping Cart.
