Ya'll always have the answer, thanks ! Here is a another I hope you can help me with, is the cord on the stock Apple keyboard short or not ? Said differently I'll need a new wired keyboard for my upcoming mini (have a mouse for it) and so far the Apple keyboard is a winner in my book cause its 100 % compatible and has two USB ports (cable length) ? (the fact that its only $ 29.00 doesn't hurt either) am I being silly cause there are better keyboards out there ?

On all my Apple keyboards with a fixed cable, they are 1 meter in length. I don't have the current one yet, but it's probably the same. An extension cable should not cost more than about 3 bucks.

if i open the service ticket in CRMD_ORDER and go in change mode if i click process action button next to error, this will disappear. but it comes when i assing a ibase to the request, so its working only when i first create without errors.
users do not use crmd_order to process error and WEB CI does not have process action feature.
any sort of help will be appreciated.

Which release are you using ?
This message appears when you change any field in the service ticket which has an influence on contract determination, such as ibase, ibase component, line item, ...
As of CRM2007 we have enabled a hyperlink for this message. Clicking the hyperlink will re-execute the contract selection.

V.15 and New Data Selection

Hi,
in V.15 transaction the "New data selection" is greyed out. How can i allow the user to check/uncheck this box?
The problem is when the "New data selection" is checked and when i execute the transaction, the "Name of sold-to party" is empty but when it's unchecked it's filled ... strange. What is the "New data selection" means?

if you do not select "new data selection" the program with just import previously selected data (the data from previous run which was stored - it's done by selecting "save dataset").
"New data selection" means the data is selected from database tables again instead of importing previously selected dataset from storage.
I believe if you at least once SAVE dataset - the option "new data selection" will be editable, SAP just saves datasets per user, so if user have not saved any dataset - the only option is to run with "new data selection" = 'ON' .

I was thinking your date selected from CALENDAR ended in a list_item.

...How can i achieve what i want? Doesn't JPA allows SELECT NEW inside SELECT NEW in named queries?

when I type symbol font appears on screen (Safari, Mail, Firefox text boxes) and browswers fail to work properly (click on reply and browser tries to download), reboot will temp fixe, new keybord fixed it but it now back? driving me crazy..virus??? When this starts up iMac does not work properly, odd things, start happening, like all my screens will dissappear and I have to click on app to 'show' then as quick as it started it will stop. Run MacPilot/Onyx, no change.

New development - selection screen

Hi gurus,
we are introducing a new functionality via devolopment transaction Z, and we need to enter a selection screen prior to the results, just to enter a kind of filter for fields such us:
1. Purchasing document creation date.
2. Document type.
3. Purchasing group.
4. Vendor.
5. Cost Center.
The programmers are asking us whether we want those fields to be a parameter or a range.
Can anyone clear the difference between those two terms for us?
Any help regarding this issue would be very appreciated.

In selection screen Parameter is Just one value For ex Cost centre A .If it is range means From Cost centre A to Cost Centre E. (A,B...E).
If you maintain for all these filed Range then it may give dump while report execution.So you have to controle which fileds should have range and Just one parametre.

HT1329 Create New Version selection grayed out, what is wrong?

I have adjusted the preferences to MP3 but when I select a specific song to create a new version, the options are grayed out. What else do I need to do in order to convert my previously purchased songs to MP3 so that I can play in my car.

Where is the song you are trying to convert located? Is it of kind Protected AAC?

Need to preserve /home - confused by new filesystem selection process

I am in a bind here. My Thinkpad just took a dump and I really don't have a way to do a good backup. I will not freak out if I lose what's on it, but I would really rather not. Anyway, I have a good partition scheme already, so I don't need to set that up. The new section to select the FS and mount points is confusing me. By default, they are all saying RAW/No filesystem. When I select a partition, there are options for filesystems, but no option to leave it alone. What do I need to do to preserve the two partitions that I want left alone, but still have their mount points specified?
Edit: for example, I have an NTFS partition. next to the partition it says raw-> no_fs. If I select it, I am asked if I want to recreate it. No matter what I select I am put into a screen to select a fs, and ntfs is not listed. If I choose nothing, will it be erased and made into a raw partition? This new system is very confusing, I think I liked the old one better! Oh well. Adapt and overcome! Any help would be appreciated!

The "raw/no filesystem" things isn't the most clear way to phrase it (I should probably improve that, please file a feature request), but basically it means the installer won't do anything on them.

If you selected "yes" on "recreate?" it should ask something like "which FS do you want this to be?" and otherwise it will ask "which FS is this?" (subtle difference).
If you said "no" on the recreate question, it will not erase/overwrite the filesystem.
the fact that ntfs is not listed is probably a bug (file a bug for this).
for now, you can get around it like so:
in /usr/lib/aif/core/libs/lib-ui-interactive.sh, on line 431 (just below the block of lines that are like '[ $part_type = .... FSOPTS= ..') put this:
FSOPTS="$FSOPTS ntfs NTFS"
If you then restart the installer, it will allow you to choose ntfs as well.

The new one is much better, but there are some details in special cases like this that need to improved. let's work at this together to improve this (you file feature requests and bugreports, I help you and change the code where needed, you tell me if it works)

Cannot add new printer, selection grayed out

I have been using a brother MFC-9420CN. I have been sharing this printer with a windows computer over a wireless network. It has worked flawlessly since I hooked it up. After the last 10.4.6 update for the OS the printer no longer works. I first noticed it when I selected print from a menu. The top selection said the printer name but there was a grayed question mark next to it. I opened the printer utility. The printer was there but would not work. So I removed it from the list and went to add it once again. When I clicked on add a new menu popped up. The menu searched for new drivers and then stopped. On the bottom of the menu is three selections. One for name, one for location and one for print using. They are all grayed out. Because there is no selection in the above menu for me to choose. I tried deleting all the brother print drivers in /library/printer/brother folder. Then I reinstalled. Same problem. I cannot selet a printer now. I also tried hooking it up diretly and nothing happened. I then tried the IP printer selection. At the bottom there is a print using selection. It shows the brother cups driver but when selected and then I choose to add it a message comes up that says "An error occured while trying to add the selected printer error code 50" The printer still works over the wirless connection on the windows computer. Thanks for any help...

I found a work around for this matter. Most of the time, I use spotlight to remove anything on the hard drive that has anything to do with "Brother Printers" Then I reload the CD that came with the printer and it works ok. Every now and again if I cancel the print job on the printer the computer will do this hiccup and say there is no printer. This is my work around.

SetCurrentRow does not set the right class on the new row selected

This has to do with using setCurrentRow and having
spry:select used on the active row to enable selection
highlighting.
When setting the current row programmatically by invoking
setCurrentRow, the row get seccessfully set, but the class is not
set to reflect that current row
Any idea why the class of the selected row is not changing
when I am calling setCurrentRow (works great when there is a mouse

New Swatch Selection

How do I import a fabric swatch to add to my swatch selection. I want to change the fabric on an ottoman.

Go to "Edit Menu>Preset Manager>Color Swatches" and choose "LOAD" . Navigate to the color swatches file . The color swatches will get loaded in PSE . Please note that if you are using PSE 11 there will be a "ADD" button and not a "LOAD" button. To permanently save the swatches , so that you can access it to it even after a relaunch , choose "Save swatches" and save it in the user preset folder location.

Actually there is a workaround.
If you open the file in Pages 5, it can then be exported on Pages 0.9 format to another folder. I had to do this as the document was only in iCloud and couldn't be recoverd by Time Machine.
