New LabVIEW jobs website
There is a new website designed specifically for finding LabVIEW programmers. It is located at www.labviewjobs.com
My favorite sharon hutchins quotes:
>
I have heard that there is a new recruitment site just for labVIEW programmers. It might be worth trying it
> It seems very easy to use and is focused on jobs
that have a specific LabVIEW requiremrent. It is also a
> global portal
that is ideal for all LabVIEW programmers and companies with a LabVIEW
need.
Why do you misrepresent yourself as a
user, when you are obviously advertising? This is blatant
misrepresentation. It is apparent to me, by your practices, that your organization is the
type that does not try to do something good in order to be successful, but rather tries to leach from others and suck as much value from them as possible.
> LabVIEW is a great programming language, and this
site has been developed to let engineers take advantage of their
programming skill in finding a suitable position.
I see from your website that labVIEWjobs.com is a Software Jobs Match Company. I doubt that you are focused on LabVIEW.
> It is the first site to try and offer the LabVIEW community an easy way of finding the right job for them.
There you go again, spouting false information. There was the VI Markets website (which no longer exests). There was iLabVIEW.com (which no longer exists). And there is the LAVA Jobs forum -- don't even bother spamming there. And, I assume you noticed that there are the LabVIEW jobs forums, here, on NI.com.

Are there any LabVIEW job websites?
LabVIEW is a very popular programming language but I am having a hard
time finding any job search websites that specificially list LabVIEW
jop openings.
Are there any out there?A Google search will return some hits; however, the best option would be to find an NI Alliance Member in a location you want to work. This is how I found my first LabVIEW job. Alliance members usually have a jobs page on their website, and most of them are looking for LabVIEW talent.

Hi,
We have noticed in our production database that when the number of active jobs reaches its limit set by job_queue_processes parameter then new jobs are not started after some previous active jobs finish. For instance, when job_queue_processes = 50 and at a given time all 50 jobs were active and then finished, so new jobs are not created when the number of active jobs becomes for example 40. Anyone seen such behavior? Or is it a known bug?My favorite sharon hutchins quotes:

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

The "Roman" font is not being recognized in Firefox 4.0. As such, I cannot read any previously posted topics or post any new topics on websites using this font.
I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6. -
Hello, Im new to this website. Im having issues with my Macbook. I have the old 2009 model Macbook and it is our schools macbook. The school just upgraded these MacBooks to OSX Mavericks and when i try to open Minecraft it won't let me. It says no jdk installed. I also try to install Java SE runtime but half way through the Software Update it says cant download software because of network problem but I'm connected to the internet and i can browse stuff just fine. Can any one help with my problems. P.S. I don't know the administrator password or stuff like that. And yes we are allowed to play games and stuff on these laptops but only at home not at school so don't tell me i need to focus on school and not games.
Since you updated the operating system, it is probably Minecraft is missing certain files that ware remove or are not longer comparable with the new version of the OSX. what I recommend, is to check is there is an update for Minecraft and install that. If there is not update available, probably the best thing will be reinstalling Minecraft. Hope this will help you.

Code doesn't update when uploading new files to website.
code doesn't update when uploading new files to website. I was using an old DW version for a long time then forced to upgrade when I bought my MacBook Pro. Now when I make changes to my pages and link to new files etc on my harddrive, when i upload the pages it won't image because the code still points to harddrive (this did not used to be a problem)... I manually changed the code on the web host site to point to the site and it loaded fine. But now my files on my harddrive also point to the web host files and now don't image on my computer. I never had to worry about this so far and wonder if the new version has a setting I'm supposed to be aware of so that I can design on my hardrive and upload and it knows that the files are being uploaded with it? Ugh hpe this makes sense - I'm NOT a webs designer and the new DW is way more than I use in it's technology.

This question is admittedly a little complicated. The New York Times website has a number of weblog pages which include brief stories followed by space for readers to leave comments. You probably need to be a Times On-Line subscriber to really see what I'm talking about, but some examples would be this City Room blog: http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/09/02/bloomberg-cancels-radio-talk-amid-furor-over-aides-resignation/ or this Arts Beat blog: http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/09/01/theater-talkback-remembering-jerry-leiber-a-reluctant-pioneer-of-the-jukebox-musical/
Since the most recent Firefox updates, when I view these pages, which traditionally have a number of reader comments at the bottom of the Times' story (or at least a space to leave a comment), I can no longer see the comments. There's simply empty. blank space. I know that the comments are there; if I open Internet Explorer and log on to the same page, the comments are suddenly visible. I don't understand where this problem has come from. I haven't noticed whether I'm missing seeing anything on other websites yet.
I also cannot post comments on other parts of the Times website; while the pages dedicated to story-specific reader comment seem to load correctly and the space to type my comment does appear, I can't actually submit the comment. Repeated pressing of the "submit" icon has no effect. Once again, this works normally in IE.
For the record, in the past week, I have changed my computer's anti-virus software from McAfee to Norton 360. I run Windows XP. If there's any another information I can provide, please advise, as I vastly prefer running Firefox to IE.If it happens again then try to reload the website or clear the cache and the cookies from that website.

This worked for me as a bandaid fix.... didnt do much reasearch... looks like after printing first employee the system is trying to create a new spool request again.... follwoing work around worked for me and may work for you too....
In the First component of the COBRA User Exit - ZXPCOU01
added the following peice of code... and it worked as the spool will be openend once...

IMPORT lc_flag = lc_flag FROM MEMORY ID 'COBRAUSER'.
IF lc_flag IS INITIAL.
lc_flag = 'X'.
EXPORT lc_flag = lc_flag TO MEMORY ID 'COBRAUSER'.

OIM 11g-Error During Creating a new Scheduler Job
Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a new scheduled job. I imported the job by using the 'weblogicImportMetadata.sh'.
But when I click on the task lookup while creating a job using UI, I am getting the following error in the logs. Please let me know if anyone faced this error before and how can it be resolved.

Then in the weblogicImportMetadata.sh, import path should be till:

Anyone encountered this before?

BernhardHi,
Make sure to set the ODBCINI environment variable. The variable must point to the path from the root directory to the system information file where your data source resides. The system information file can have any name, but the product is installed with a default file called odbc.ini in the product installation directory.
For example, if you use an installation directory of /opt/odbc and the default system information file, from the Korn or Borne shell, you would enter:
ODBCINI=/opt/odbc/odbc.ini; export ODBCINI
From the C shell, you would enter:
setenv ODBCINI /opt/odbc/odbc.ini

Regarding Generate New Database Job
Dear All,
I have a query regarding Generate New Database job while extracting Local DB to developers.
I got a request from multiple developers to extract Local DB for them. Do I have to run the Generate Database Job multiple times or is it enought if I run it once and then continue with DB extract Job for all the users?
Please help me out on this query?
Regards,
AbiHi,
As per oracle documentation -> http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B31104_02/books/RRAdm/RRAdmRM_RemoteConcpts12.html
"The Generate New Database component creates the local database template for a given database schema version. The component reads the database schema definition from the Siebel repository, then creates Siebel tables and indexes in a database template file stored on the Siebel Remote server in the dbtempl subdirectory."
Basically after any changes in schema you should run "Generate New Database" job again. That was the reason why I mentioned about generating it again.
