New library has been created and deleted all old photos

After the update I was asked something about creating a new library, then there was a countdown and the iphoto app is now empty of all photos.
I have checked whether it has just created a new library but it hasn't, I also cannot find my iphoto library anywhere not Macbook.  Photos from over four years have simply vanish ... please help!!!

No, there is absolutely no sign of them!
do you know what the string would be to do a search i.e. ; .jpg or .doc etc...

Is there any way to find a log of the send e-mail from ICloud.. to analyse how many email has been send and deleted within a day from send items

    Thx Winston,
I can count the send item. But let me try to explain why did I ask this question.
I had a trouble in sending e-mails from icloud on 22/2 and when I saw in my send item there were no emails.
But the mesgs to whom I emailed received and out of which only few of them didn't got the email. So I wanted to know the log abt the outflow of the mesg with subject and the receipants email id and the list with attachment or not.
How and where will I get the information apart from send item and draft mesg and the outflow undelivered?
    Regards
    Sarfaraz

After you change the account settings as I described below hold your finger on any app until they all wriggle, then tap the "-" on each purchased with her Apple ID. Press the HOME button when done. Then go to the App Store and buy or download the apps you want.

My MobleMe calendar upgrade does not recognize that OS X6.3 has been installed and sees the old OS. What to do?

    visard229,
Numerous Apple support articles state that "Mac OS X v10.6.4 Snow Leopard is recommended for all users."
Why do you think that 10.6.3 will work with the MobileMe calendar?

  • After a library has been created with the "Copy items to the iPhoto library" option unselected, can it later be made to create those copies?

    iPhoto 9.4.3
    iPhoto Library Manager 3.6.8
    MacBook Pro - OS X 10.7.5.
I have a large number of iPhoto libraries, organized with iPhoto Library Manager, that I created with the "Copy items to the iPhoto library" option unselected because I wanted easier access to the individual files. I am now going to be migrating to a new computer and have run into some problems with iPhoto losing the path to the file, and as a result showing me the exclamation point of doom. What's more, the program doesn't seem very intelligent about rebuilding those lost connections, and I have to go back through and correct it manually almost one at a time. How do I get around this problem?
If I rebuild my new computer from a Time Machine backup (I usually enjoy taking this opportunity to start from a clean slate, but...), will the paths all be preserved without me needing to abandon my organization system?
Or is there some way to ask iPhoto or Library Manager to create and organize copies of all the photos in the library that are not currently present within the library?
On a tangentially related note, what's the best way to save keywords (and ideally also faces) added in iPhoto to the photos' meta data?
    Much obliged.

Not with iPhoto by itself.  If you have the lastest version of Aperture and iPhoto referenced libraries can be converted to managed with Aperture.
You can convert to a managed library with  iPhoto Library Manager by rebuilding the library with iPLM.  This will create a new, managed library with all your photos in it and with all Events, albums, keywords, titles, descriptions and places intact. However, books, calendars, slideshows and cards will not be retained.  They will end up as albums containing the photos.

  • Extending a BOM that has been created and then deleted

    Hello!
I have a BOM for a material that has been extended to several plants already.
This BOM should be the same for all plants, so I maintain through extenstion in CS07 for all other plants.
The problem is that someone created that same BOM for a new plant manually and did NOT use CS07 to extend it.
I deleted the BOM they created manually, hoping that I could recreate it using CS07 to extend it.
It won't let me.  I get the error  "BOM already exists for this material/plant/usage" when I try to extend it now for the new plant, even though I have deleted the BOM I am trying to re-create.
Is there any way that I can create the BOM for this new plant using an extension now?  Or is this not possible in any way?
    Thank you very much,
    Stefani

Yay!     Our Global Business Team did figure out how to fix this issue (thank you Julia Fox):
1.) We used CS02 to go into the BOM we wanted to delete and extend with the others.
We found the date it was first created and entered that date in "Valid From" field.
We left the Change Number blank.
2.) In CS02, we hit the green check icon, selected "Material BOM" and then "Delete".
This cleared out the change history that we did not clear out before when we used a change number to delete this BOM previously.  That change history was what was preventing the extension of the plant's BOM from another after we deleted it with a change number.
3.) Then we were able to go into CS07 and extend the BOM to match the other BOMs, since the change history was deleted.
Thank you again Mariano for your help!  We couldn't use Support Note #19006 you found because the BOM could still be displayed (because we deleted it with a change number).

  • After creating a new login (bought computer used) and deleting the old one the 500gb hard drive only shows up as 320gb.

So I've just purchased a mid 2011 Macbook Pro 13" used via eBay. Was advertised as having 500gb hard drive and 6gb ram. I checked the ram and it was all legit, checked the hd capacity and it was all correct as well. So I made a new login for myself and deleted the previous owner's. Now my hard drive shows up as 320gb. Even in disk utility and terminal.

One more place to look is SYSTEM PROFILER>HARDWARE>SERIAL-ATA.  If it says 320, you have a 320GB HDD which I suspect it probably will.  They are easy to replace.
    Ciao.

  • HT5312 My rescue email has been abandoned and deleted long time ago, and I don't remember the answers to the security questions, thus won't be receiving any resets. please advise

I purchased a new iphone 5 S yesterday, and when i wanted to purchase one of the apps it required confirmation to the secuirity questions- which i do not remember!
I Tried to logg in to my apple Id to receive a reset to the secuirity questions, however it is linked to an old email that no longer exist !
Strangely I have edited my apple ID account and have deleted that old email- which no longer exist! but it seems that it is still linked to my account as a rescue email!

You need to contact Apple. Click here, phone them, and ask for the Account Security team, or fill out and submit this form.

  • IPhoto'11 crashed and deleted all my photos

I've recently updated to iPhoto'11 as prompted. Last night I had just uploaded over 200 photos and now all I can see are black thumbnails with no photos, all the cover albums are of the same photos. When I opened up one of the album, it crashed then all of my photos are gone. How do I retrieve my photos and solve this crashing, once and for all?

  • Does reinstalling iPhoto delete all old photos from memory?

My iPhoto became corrupted so I had to reinstall the program. It seems that by deleting the old version of the software (by removing the pkg files from receipts) and reinstalling the software all my photos have vanished from my hard drive. Surely the program wouldnt remove the files from memory or is this a feature of apple products?
can anyone help!? advise please...! I am an apple novice.

Typically the iPhoto application does not become corrupted - the database (the iPhoto library) does and resolving this usually does not involve installing iPhoto but rebuilding the iPhoto library
what exactly do you mean when you say
all my photos have vanished from my hard drive.
    What version of iPhoto

  • Got my images online which has been taken and deleted offline

I was performing some online-offline experiment.
While experimenting I put my mobile on Airplane mode and took a new picture with default camera application[BB- Z10]. Then I deleted the picture. Then I switched off the Airplane mode.
Then I checked my Box account, this deleted image was there online, where as I couldn't find the same deleted image anywhere on my mobile device. This is a serious privacy violation and I was not expecting this from blackberry.
    Downloaded Box from BlackBerry World

I expect the answer is that you have a setting enabled to sync pictures to Box, and that you deleted the local picture file but not the duplicate in the sync folder. When you turned the radio on the files in the sync folder were uploaded to Box. If that is what happened, I can make a case that it is a useful feature and user error for not understanding how it works...or rather your experiment revealed how it works and now you know.
    So, am I right?

  • My imac 21.5" 2010 model heats up in the top left corner (backside) when iphoto is on ad trying to generate thumbnails? Can anyone help as to why this is. It has been serviced and passed all heating tests? Thanks in advance

I just had my iMac sent away for repair as it kept heating up to the point where you could not touch the top left corner of the machine. It really only heats up when i open iPhoto and it is generating thumbnails for all the events. (Some reason it has lost all the thumbnails).
The Mac came back yesterday and they replaced the fans and cleaned out the machine and it has passed all heating tests.

As user Seventy one recommended above, the "iStatPro" Free software is very useful in determining just how hot your internal hardware components are getting.  You could post some of the temp readings from it here so we can comment on them.

  • How to restore a 2GB Nano and delete all old tunes?

I allowed my Nano to run down and let its charge drain. Haven't used her in months. When I went to power up, she was konked out. I tried to put some stuff on her from my iMac Core Duo but there is 'too much' so says the iTunes wizard. So I chose some playlists.
Apperas as though iTunes is saying that there is some 549.3 MB used with 1.29 GB remaining on my 2GB Nano. I do not see any songs on the Nano or on the iTunes playlist for trhe Nano. What is taking up all of my 549.3 MB? I'd like to delete that before I start loadng the Nano or is it default stuff?
Is there default data of 549.3 taking up room on her or am I missing something and if so how do I clean it out?
    Thank you!
    iMac 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo 20" 512MB (early 2006)   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   iBook G4 OS X 10.4.8 256MB

Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings.. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7
