New LiveCycle ES2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) now avialable

Adobe has released LiveCycle ES2 Service Pack 1.  Service Pack 1 updates LiveCycle ES2 server components,LiveCycle Workbench ES2, (updating both is required) and can only be deployed on LiveCycle ES2.
Please visit, https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=lces2_sp to download Service Pack 1.  Additional details on the contents of the service pack, including the issues it addresses and installation instructions are included in the Read Me file available at the same URL.  A file extraction utility such as WinZip/gnu tar/unzip will be required in order to extract the files prior to running the installation.
The direct link to the Service Pack download is http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=lces2_sp.
You can also access the download from a few locations on LiveCycle DevNet pages:
1.     Downloads tab:  http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/index.html?view=downloads
2.     Get It section on the Get Started page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/get_started.html

Hi Iakov,
If you click the link above (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=lces2_sp) and click 'Agree' you will get to this page:
You can download the LS Designer ES2 SP1 from there as a single component. Because, like us you are standalone LC Designer ES2 (from Acrobat Pro Ext) without Workbench, you can just update the LC Designer ES2 component.
We have sucessfully installed the update.
Good luck,
Niall

  • Installed windows service pack and now can't see igoogle content

    I recently installed a service pack for Office 32bit on my Sony Vaio. Now I cannot see any of my page content on Igoogle, or certain features on Ebay. I checked my popup filter, and even turned it off, and that didn't help.

    The updater's now built into iTunes, which came with a new version of the iPod's required background service, rendering all previous updaters void.
    To get to the updater, go to the iPod in the sources panel (left-hand side), and you should see the Update and Restore buttons.

  • I updated my T21 with XP service pack 3- now my disk in my disk caddy no longer works ;-(

    I just updated my Thinkpad T21 with XP service pack 3. Now it seems the spare hard drives that I use in my disk caddy for backup call in to Device Manager but show as unreadable and will not show in "My computer".
    Has anyone else had this problem. I use the second drive to do full saves using Ghost to perform a disk copy.

    Office 2013 SP1 is here - when will Access 2013 Runtime get the service pack? ie. When will we see Access 2013 Runtime Service Pack 1?

    Hi,
    There has no exact information about the Access 2013 Runtime Service Pack 1 now. We can continue to pay attention about it in the Microsoft Official website.

  • Service pack installation step by step

        i  am new to farm admin , i have 7 servers  in that i have 3 wfe servers,2 app servers , 2 sql servers now i want to install service pack sp1 for sharepoint 2013 , i need step by step process and what are service should stop before
    installing sp1 ?

    First, determine the products you have installed. You can find this by going to Central Admin -> Manage servers in farm. Under each server name will be a list of installed products. You need Service Pack 1 for all of those products (e.g. Server, Project
    Server, any Language Packs, etc.).
    Next, install the appropriate SP1 binary/ies on each SharePoint server. Once that has been completed, run the Configuration Wizard on each SharePoint server. The order of either of these activities does not matter.

  • Windows 7 64 bit service pack 2 not sync with Itouch4g

    Windows 7 64 bit with new update of service pack 2 will not recognize ITouch4g 64 when connected or in Itunes 10.1.2 will not see the Itouch 4g 64 attached.
    Is there a new fix from apple and when will they send it out??

    There is no Service Pack 2 for Windows 7; they just released Service Pack 1. Is that what you meant?

  • IPod Touch will not sync with iTunes - Windows 7 w/Service Pack 1

    I recently updated my relatively new (December) HP desktop to the new Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Since then, I have been unable to sync my iPod Touch with iTunes. Once the sync is initiated, iTunes freezes and nothing happens. Needles to say, before I did that update, I did not experience these problems. I have removed and reinstalled all the iTunes and related software, as per Apple's instructions, and still no change. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this issue or if one might be coming from Apple?

    Hello iTouch,
    Try a hard reset of your iPod. Hold down the home and sleep/wake buttons until a red slider appears at the top of the lock screen. Sliding it will power off your iPod. Turn it back on and then try connecting it to iTunes.
    That's actually a soft reset.
    A hard reset requires you to hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
    Keep up the good work though.

  • Is there a difference in generatePDFOutput between Livecycle ES2 (9) and Livecyle ES (8)

    I know that we are way behind in terms of Livecycle ES versions, but we have recently installed Livecycle ES2 (9.0) on a set of new Websphere 7 servers. All seems to be progressing will in terms of systems integrating with the new servers, but we have run into an issue with the way PDF documents are rendered in Livecycle ES2 (9.0)/WAS 7 versus Livecycle ES (8.0) / WAS 6.
    We have a few XDP templates that have Rich Text Fields with a Data Format of XHTML that are not rendering the same when using PX measurement.
    EXAMPLE: <p style="left-margin: 15px;">
    Using the API generatePDFOutput under Livecycle ES (8.0) the text is indent and all displays well in the rendered PDF. But, in Livecycle ES2 (9.0) there is no indention and the text is aligned to the left margin of the field.
    Here is the data that is used:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <form1>
       <RTF_Field>
      <body xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
      <p>This is a <i>Rich Text Field.</i></p>
      <p>It is filled using <b><i>XHTML</i></b> data.</p>
      <p></p>
      <p>The following should be 3 indented bullets. The first is indented 15<b><i>px</i></b> and the other two are indented 30<b><i>px</i></b>:</p>
      <p></p>
      <p style="margin-left: 15px;">&#8226;&#160;&#160;&#160;Bullet 1</p>
      <p style="margin-left: 30px;">&#186;&#160;&#160;&#160;Sub-Bullet 1</p>
      <p style="margin-left: 30px;">&#186;&#160;&#160;&#160;Sub-Bullet 2</p>
      </body>
      </RTF_Field>
    </form1>
    As you can see there is no HTML table code in the prefill. I know that that is not allowed.
    Here is an image of the results on the old Livecycle ES (8.0)
    Here is an image of the results on the new Livecycle ES2 (9.0)
    Has anyone else run into this issue? I am not an expert when it comes to the administrative side of Livecycle ES, but is there a configuration, or setting, issue that we may be missing in the Livecycle or Websphere consoles? Is there some form of tranformation of the html code on the older server that is not active on the new one? Is there a difference in the HTML code that was valid on Livecycle ES (8.0) versus Livecycle ES2 (9.0)?
    Any insight would be grately appreciated.

    I think you are right!!! Just noticed, I came here via a link.  I'll repost and hopelfully the mods will delete this.
    Thanks.

  • My Computer knows iPod without Service Pack 2 but not with it.

    What should I do? I updated my Windows with the latest service pack. Now, it doesn't recognises my iPod... (I wish I had a Mac) (I have a 5G iPod)

    What doesnt see the ipod?
    iTunes
    Or windows?
    Take a look at this and see if it helps.
    Pod missing in "My Computer" or in iTunes on Windows

    Neal Davies - Sr. Product Manager - LiveCycle

    Hi Neal - are there any Release notes on what bugs were actually fixed in this release?
    This link says it is the Release notes but doesnt say what was actually fixed or if they are still outstanding issues: http://learn.adobe.com/wiki/display/ADEPRelNotes/Release+Notes+-+Document+Services
    This lists some quick fixes: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/844/cpsid_84466.html but I assume there were more fixes than that applied as there were new versions of Designer and Workbench.
    Thanks
