New macbook air, can't accept iLife apps in iTunes store

I recently purchased a Macbook Air for my wife. However, it was a floor model. It was reverted back to factory specs, but when I looked for the iLife apps, they were not on the computer.
So I went to iTunes and, sure enough, there they were, ready to be accepted.
However, when I try to download them (using my Apple ID or my wife's) I get this message:
These apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID.
These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID,
and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list.
If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates,
you will need to purchase the applications.
What gives? Are these tied to one of the store's employee's Apple ID's or something?

iTunes sells apps for iOS based devices such as iPad, iPhones, and the iPod touch.
For iLife, for the Mac OS X you need to download from the App Store. You can access the App Store several ways.
One, cilck your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. Select App Store from the drop down menu.
Two, click the App Store icon in your Dock
Three, you can launch the App Store from your Applications folder.
The iLife apps are no longer bundled so you purchase as components, such as iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand.

You have to be in a country, and have a billing address in that country, to download from its store. You can try requesting that the app be added to the Slovenia store, but unless the app's developer/rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

What do I do if my new macbook air does not accept my password even if I've tried more than a few times?

Hi there,
Just bougiht a new macbook air and the start up screen is not accepting my password even though I have typed it in a few times and correctly. I have already used this mac previously for 2 days and have added microsoft office today but this is the first time I have logged in since the installation.
I don't understand why the password isn't being accepted. Could it be the installation? Or do I need to reset my macbook air?
Just a note, I'm not proficient using a Mac.This is my first macbook.

You can reset your password with the install cd or usb ...
Follow these steps to reset a password when there is only one administrator account on the computer, or if the original administrator account needs a password reset. "Original" administrator account refers to the one that was created immediately after installing Mac OS X. If the original administrator password is known, that administrator account may be used to reset the passwords of other administrator accounts using the steps described above. These steps require an optical drive; if your Mac does not have an optical drive and you have a Mac OS X v10.6 Install disc, see below.
Start up from a Mac OS X Install disc (one whose version is closest to the version of Mac OS X installed). Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C). Or, you can use Startup Manager or the Startup Disk preference pane to select the Install disc.
Choose a language, click the arrow button to continue,
Mac OS X v10.6 or later: Choose Password Reset from the Utilities menu.

Hi I have just aquired a new MacBook Air and I want to stop using my old Dell laptop as my itunes synch with my ipod. Can I now sync the Ipod with the itunes account on my new Macbook? I am worried it will take hours to synch if I choose the erase and synch option?

Is all the content from your iTunes library on the old Dell laptop now on your MacBook air? If you copied the entire iTunes folder and copied it over the existing iTunes folder, your iPod will still think it is being synced to the same iTunes library and there would be no need to do an erase and sync.

Loaded iWork08 on new MacBook Air, won't accept my family pack SN

I purchased the new MacBook Air 13" basic model, loaded the iWork 08 by establishing a link with one of my iMacs, sharing the drive. The programs were successfully installed, the icons were added to my dock, and all was well. When I entered the serial number upon launching the programs, my serial number is declared invalid, and I was invited to purchase a current serial number. I purchased the family pack and have installed it on two or three iMacs, which should leave me a couple of installs.
Any Ideas what I should do next?
It is good to know you experts on everything Apple are out there to help when needed, I only wish I knew enough to help you sometimes.

I had bought recently these two USB Dongles (Huawei 353 and 357 models) of Smartbro of Smart Telecom Philippines and Globe Tattoo of Globe Telecom Philippines... these two recently was active and functional when I was using it in my old MacBook Air 4,1 using OS Lion. But now when I purchased new MacBook Air 5,1 (configured to higher specs) using OS Mountain Lion plug the device with the 3.0 port of my new MBA it won't detect nor appear as icon on the screen. I already tried two dongle devices one at a time and wait to be detected but to my dismay...NO DEVICES DETECTED... Kindly help anyone... Hi Sir heymigs... tnx..I appreciate your experience and concern regarding my undetected USB DONGLE devices of SMART Telecom and GLOBE Telecom under my MBA 11, Mid 2012 OS X Mountain Lion. But.. still i'm hoping there will be solution on this...
Im still looking and dowloading some (software) drivers for these DEVICES- install/uninstall to my MBA 11 Mid 2012 esp. its hardware 3.0 USB port compatibility issues. To my eager, I already plug these two DONGLES DEVICES in my IMac 21.5 Mid 2011 using OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 upgraded from OS X Lion 10.7 and the result with no hassles the DEVICES were DETECTED and INSTALLED smoothly.
Hoping that this drawbacks (problems) will be given attention by the MAC people concerns...otherwise it will not be responsible or reasonable to own some gadgets with INCOMPATIBLE issues in OS X..

How do I set up home sharing on my new macBook Air 11" I want to access my itunes from my home iMac on my Macbook Air?

I've set up to share my itunes on my iMac and on my new MacBook Air 11" but there dont seem to be any files I can view or access?
On my music it says "Go to itunes store" or "Scan for Media"
Does anyone know how to set it up?

Once your in iTunes click the dropdown menu below the play button if one option is home sharing click home sharing and sign in with your apple id if you don't have home sharing follow these steps:
1) Go to iTunes
2) Click file (which is on the menu bar)
3) Hover your mouse over the place where it says home sharing
4) If you hover your mouse over home sharing you should see it says turn on home sharing click it
5) Now sign in with your apple id
Now have enabled home sharing on your mac.

I can't find some apps in iTunes app store when searching for those apps on an iPad. I can find them when searching on an iPhone. Why is this happening?

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here. If you can't find the app in the store then it may have been removed either via the app developer or by Apple - have you not got a copy of it somewhere e.g. on your computer or on a backup ?

For the past few weeks I can't buy any apps from the iTunes store. It just says that "it's not possible to finish the purchase. To get get help contact iTunes Support on the website."
I have no idea why this happens, I checked all my info and it's all good... I also tried to contact Apple Support, but for my country (Portugal) we can only make calls and I've been trying for a while and it's impossible to reach them... To make things even better, I'm not in Portugal at the moment, so a call is quite expensive...
I also tried to buy apps on all sorts of devices (macbook pro, iphone 6 and ipad mini) with different accounts but all of them with the same problem...
Does anyone have any idea about how to solve this problem?? I would really appreciate!

You have to be in a country to use its store and it has always been that way - from the Portugal store's terms (and other countries will be the same) which you agreed to :

Buying a new Macbook Pro, can I downgrade iLife?

I have a a Macbook from when they were first introduced in 2006. I want to use the boot disc from that in order to get rid of everything my new Pro comes with in order to keep iLife 06. Is this possible?
Please don't tell me why I shouldn't do it. I just want to know if it's at all possible?

I don't see why you could not install ilife 06 on a new computer. If it tells you that you can't install it it will be b/c there's a newer version of that software... if so, toss ilife 09 in the trash and try installing 06. I just checked my 06 discs; the requirements are osX -- so it should work, no problem.
I won't tell you why you shouldn't do it, but I don't really see a reason to unless you really dislike the newer version for some reason.
