New MBP 13" 2011 gets over heated during the normal condition ?

Hi guys ,
I bought my first mac book pro 13" the 2011 model , its making me to worry a lot for the heat that its getting on . I had put it on a Table itself and there is no way that the airvents are being blocked up .
I hadn't heard any sound of the fan rotating in there too ... I really need to know is this a problem or the MBP's are super silent  ! ?
Guys please help me answering to me ........
Thank you for reading my post , but do answer me .>.

There could be a problem if the fans are not working, that you should check out.
If they are running then understand you bought a INTEGRATED graphics computer, where the CPU is double duty as the graphics processor. Double the heat in one location, CPU automatically hobbling performance so the cooling has a chance to keep up.
In my opinion the 13" MacBook Pro isn't a "Pro" machine what so ever, should have been a 13" MacBook in a black case alongside the white MacBook in the product line.
The 13" MacBook Pro doesn't have it's own dedicated graphics card, so it can't 3D game well or run heavy duty programs that are graphic intense.
If your using the 13" MBP in such a manner, then perhaps if your windows of opportunity still exists, you should take it back and upgrade to the higher end 15" or 17" model with the kick butt Radeon 6570M video card with 1GB of video RAM.

I have recently got a new replacement iPhone 4.  Since I got this I have found that my data allowance is getting used up during the night while my phone is charging on the bedside table.  How an I find out what is causing this and stop it happening?  Some nights the usage is 150 meg!

You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
What is it you are worried about losing that isn't already on your current device?

My new 32gb iPhone 5 gets too hot during phone calls. Is this normal?

Mine will get hot mostly if I'm in an area with poor reception.  The phone will juice up the power output to lock onto a signal and will cause it to get hot and battery will drain much faster.

  • Problem regarding over heat of the lap

    Hi,
This is ramtej, i am using g62tx lap . from the last 4 months my system gets over heated and later it strucks.... in this moment when we plugin the charger it works properly but the heat remains so high. for a while due to over heat it automatically shutting down..
Can you tell me where is the problem, i am thiunking that heat sink might get problemed
please help me in  this am not able to see my lap suffering like this
    thanks&regards,
    BVN RAMTEJ

I would suggest you to remove any external peripherals connected to the system. Also, ensure that the Laptop is used in a room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a humidity level no greater than 90%.
Periodically clean the fan and all vents with some type of forced air such as a can of compressed air.
Boot the system in BIOS and check if the issue persists. To go to BIOS, shut down the system and keep tapping F2. If the issue occurs in BIOS too, then may be the system is overheating and hence you may have to replace the fan.
Once you are on this website, insert system Service Tag and choose Operating System, click on BIOS and update it.
Note: Plug your computer to a good, working UPS before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard.
Use the Laptop on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface. This will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system
    Hope this helps.

Macbook pro md313 over heat, is it normal ?
i bought macbook pro md313 2 days ago, its really really over heat it burns my legs and very loud fan, is it normal ? and if its not how to fix this problem ?

Without any real data we cannot give you any advice.  Install from the Internet iStat pro and then you will be able to see the actual internal temperature and fan speeds for your MBP.
In the mean time be advised that there are temperature sensors that will shut down your MBP before it commits Hari Kari, so do not be unduly alarmed.
    Ciao.

If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then transfer purchases form your ipod.
    Without syncing, click File>Transfer Purchases

I'm installing PS CS5 Exteneded on my new laptop. I get an error saying the serial number is not valid for this product. Help!

If you purchased it from Adobe, it is registered and that would prove ownership as well as the emaill they sent with the serial number.
    https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html#MyProductsHeader
Sign in with the email and password that you bought it under.
Click on the triangle next to your product and you will see the serial number assigned to you.
You have a valid record and proof of ownership. Try again.

  • If I do a full system restore on my MBP  will i get ilife off of the boot disks that came with the computer?

If I do a full system restore on my MBP  will i get ilife off of the boot disks that came with the computer.
Hi on my MBP i am going to restore it.
It came with iLife will this be on the boot disks?
    Thanks

If your computer shipped with Snow Leopard, that means it shipped with two disks: an Install disk that contains the OS, and an applications disk that contains the iLife suite. You would use the applications disk to reinstall iLife.

  • New MBP 15 retina (mid 2014) freeze during initial setup - any issues?

Hi all - just picked up a new retina MBP 15 base model (integrated graphics / 256GB / 16 GB RAM).  After turning it on for the first time and running the initial setup the computer froze on the diagnostics and usage page (after I clicked continue).  I had also setup an account and named the computer.  After about 25 minutes of seeing a spinning beach ball, I held down the power button for a hard shut down.  I turned it back on and it went through the initial setup process without issue (although I had to create a different user account since the previous one was recognized).  The computer was pre-loaded with Yosemite and I immediately updated the software with the latest patch.  Also, I noticed both user accounts I had made were stored, so I deleted the first one that I created during the failed setup.
Should this be a cause for concern?  Everything seems to be working properly outside of the initial setup freeze.  Have any other users experienced this?  Also, I had thought the macbook would have had Mavericks on it and that a manual upgrade to Yosemite would have been required.  Is this an issue with Yosemite?  Apologies for several questions in one post.

    Hi there again.
I didn't had any of the problems you mentioned (45' minutes setup). We tried along with AppleCare to make a new partition to the hard disk in order to install OS in that one and boot the machine from it. It didn't help as the machine didn't let me to make a partition. Later on we swiped the hard disk and at the moment where you choose the hard disk to install OS, there wasn't any to choose. Returned the machine to the store I bought it and they sent it to the authorized service center where they told me that the machine just didn't have any OS installed.
I asked them why there isn't any hard disks available and they told that there was a problem to the file sector of the hard disk. They repaired it and they sent the machine back to me. Regarding why the machine came with Mavericks and not with Yosemite, I suppose that they had the machine in stock (knowing that Yosemite was released after the MBP mid-2014).
There are still some problems I don't like at all. Safari - opened pdf in browser - fully loaded, scrolling down...cracks.
I'm not happy at all. That was my first purchase on Apple's computers and I don't know if I will do it again.
By the way, I noticed the same performance in other computers as well. (click on "About this Mac", then click on "Overview, Displays, Storage" etc. There, I see cracks on graphics between the change to other tabs.)

  • On new MBP I keep getting message that I need to shut down and then restart

I just got a new 13" MBP. I took the old 500GB 7200 rpm HD (which was operating perfectly) out of my old 13" white MB and put it in the new MBP. Now at boot I get as far as a gray screen, then I get a black screen with text in several languages saying that I need to shut off and then restart the computer. I went through this drill 5 times with no indication that anything was improving. I am sure that the edge card connector is fully seated on the old HD. Any ideas as to what is happening here?

The Operating System for the old and new machine is different, you can't just swap drives like that, what you're getting is a Kernel Panic.
You need to install the OS from the install discs that came with the new machine onto that hard drive. Boot from your new install DVD (hold c at start) and do an Archive Install of the OS so it saves your user data.

  • New MBP 13 2011 thunderbolt not working properly

I purchased a MBP 13 2011 and purchased a  AOC brand new monitor tried to connect it with an MDP to HDMI and didn't work.  It says no signal and my computer freezes up.  I found in one of the forums that MDP to DVI female and DVI do DVI had worked for them and it also has worked for me.  Well I call Apple because the computer should be able to work with MDp to HDMI, the apple guy told me he has never heard anyone complain about this issue, that I was the first one.  I told him to read all the forums and that there hundreds of people with the same issue. He ignored that and he had me do the reset with the computer turn off. Shift + control+option hold it and press the power botton once and hold the other keys for 5 seconds.  He told me if this didn't work to call them back to schedule an appt at the Genius Bar to have my hardware tested.  The nearest Apple store is 50 miles from where I live but I guess I will go.
I think everyone should  call an complain so they can fix this problem.  Are you all having the same problem?
