New menu items in the Admin and Contributer interfaces

Hello,
While creating some tree tabs or start menu items I noticed, that some of them appear in the Admin interface, others in the Contributors. So, the question is: is it a feature of web center sites or what, because in the fatwire all newly created items could have been found in the admin interface.
PS using JSK 11.1.1.6.0

Out of the box we placed all content contribution functions in the contributor UI. We want users to use the new UI. Hence the removal from the Admin (formerly Advanced UI) UI. So the Admin UI is not more oriented to Admin/Dev tasks and does not show content assets.

I have downloaded and installed the Spry Updater Extention, and when I reenter DW-CS3 and click on site > I do not see a link to update Spry. Nada, nothing... I've rebooted, etc. Nothing. I'm running Vista 64 and have tried disabling UAC with no effect. I really need to update these files. What's going on here?

How to create a new menu item.. please help

hi every one..,
i bought a new 30GB ipod .., i would like to create a new menu item in the ipod and wanna generate all my content whichis in my database to this newly created menu item in my ipod....

Where is the "apps" menu item in the new iTunes interface?

Where is the “apps” menu item in the new iTunes interface? I can no longer transfer files from my PC to my iPhone.
I just downloaded and installed the updated iTunes for my iPhone. I cannot find the “apps” menu item anywhere. How can I continue to download various types of files FROM my PC (Windows 7) TO my iPhone? I previously did this by clicking on the “apps” menu item and going from there. I cannot find the “apps” anywhere on the new iTunes. Thanks.

Tonefox, no it's not under "Music" but I did some more digging and found where Apple has "hidden" Apps on their latest iTunes for PC. You need to click on "iPhone" (upper right menu item) to display more menue items, of which Apps is one of them. When I had clicked on "iPhone" before, I mistakenly closed the the iPhone option from view because I clicked on the up arrow next to iPhone, instead of just iPhone. Once you click on iPhone, the options look similar to what they did in the earlier version of iTunes and you can easily find Apps.

Calling a dll from a new menu item in Bridge. Idiot help needed

I'm trying to what I believe is a fairly simple script. I'm coming from a hobbiest Delphi background, and to be honest I'm finding JavaScript a little bit hard to understand. My requirements are simple - add a new menu item to Bridge which executes a call to a custom dll. Note I'm not expecting the dll to return anything here..
Looking at the samples provided even I can add the menu item - but getting it to successfully call the dll is a bit of a mystery.
The script compiles and adds the menu item, however the menu action doesn't call the dll. I believe it should be a fairly simple task and was hoping somebody here could steer me right. Here's my code (as you'll see a clear cut and paste job from the examples ;o)

The dll needs to be compatable with the criteria set in the JavaScript Tools Guide. There is an example in the Bridge SDK that can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/bridge.html
But it need someone who is knowledgeable with c++
It would be great if someone could write a wrapper to access other external objects.

New Menu Item entry in Standard Help Menu

Hi experts,
I have added a custom menu item under the standard Help menu of SAP using SE41 (Menu Painter) with pragram name: MENUSYST and status: MEN
I added the new entry and gave it a function code and activated the function code as well as the interface MENUSYST.
This worked fine and the entry is visible at the desired location. Now on click of this new entry, I need to open a URL. I had a look at the HELP_START function module but modifying that to call the URL on click of the new menu item, would require an access key.
Is there any other method available to accomplish the task?

Add new menu Item in 11g

Hi,
I want to Add new menu item in UCM 11g.
I have done in 10g throught including

but the same is not working in 11g.

Customising the admin and user console

I want to customise the Admin and User Console for helpdesk users. Therfore I want them to have create user and manage user menu access. I have created a helpdesk user group and assigned create and manage menu items. When I logon as the helpdesk user I can see the menu items, however if I do a search for users, no records are found. Likewise if I create a user, organisations are not found on the organisations lookup. I have tried assigning various privileges for the group but with no success. Am I missing something obvious?

For HelpDesk admin to be able to search for users, he/she need to be Organization Admin for the company for which they can search for users. For instance, if you have Organizations : ABC, XYZ in your OIM instance and you want HelDesk admin to be able to search for users within "ABC", then the corresponding group has to be an admin for "ABC". To do this, search for the Organization and assign Administrators using the option available in the Organization profile page drop-down.
Once the above task is done, you should be able to search and also assign the Organization to newly created user.

Yes, thats engough, since SAP is recommending the same for that datasource 0FI_GL_14. I think you are already in that version.

Copy service line items to new line items in the same contract (ME32K)?

Hello friends,
Requirement: There are many contracts (account assignment K) has service line items (type 9). I need to copy a contract line item along with its service line items (1 or more) into a new line item in the same contract. I tried bapi_po_change but it says Contracts can't be processed with it, as only in this bapi we have a structure for ESLL services. BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE or create don't have structure for ESLL..how to achieve this through a bapi or a fm?
So, in what way I could accomplish this? I came across some threads, which was helpful, but is not solving the purpose
Any guidance here would be of great help.

Use BAPI_AGREEMENT_MAINTAIN
This BAPI can be used to create new service items in the contract but won't change existing lines. You can query the contract lines that you want to copy and later call the BAPI to recreate them

Removing menu items in the upper right corner?

I found some *.menu files in "System > Library > Core Services" folder that allow you to add menu items near the clock in the upper right corner of the Finder. I added some by accident just to see what they are and now I can't find a way to remove them. Does anyone know how? There is an "eject" icon and a "OS9 Startup" icon that I want to remove. There is also an American flag for the keyboard type.

Can you configure the ADMIN and CLUSTER service connections to be SSL
rather than tcp?
I was wondering about the present or future ability to secure other
connection services with SSL. Can you now or are there future plans
to configure the ADMIN and CLUSTER service connections to be SSL
rather than tcp? I suppose I should add the PORTMAPPER to that list.
My primary interest is for an SSLCLUSTER service in the case where
two brokers are connected over a non-trusted network. It may
not be too difficult to secure all the services the same way, but
perhaps that is on the TODO list.
A related question is if there are plans to add SSL with client
authentication as a stronger authentication mechanism than 'simple'
username and password. I believe you could get the username from
the client certificate's DN and continue to use the same LDAP user
repository for access control. I think this is similar to the way
that BEA's Weblogic server does it.
Finally should it be possible to deploy the HTTP tunnel servlet to
a webserver (such as iPlanet Web Server) configured to do SSL with
client authentication as a work-around to get stronger authentication
with the current release of the product? Or am I perhaps missing some
obvious and important detail? :) I guess I would like to know it's been
done already or is at least possible before I try and do it myself.

3 scenarios involving SSL are:
1: JMS client <------- SSL -------> iMQ broker
2: iMQ admin <------- SSL -------> iMQ broker
3: iMQ broker <------- SSL -------> iMQ broker (i.e clusters)
(1) is currently supported in iMQ 2.0
(2) and (3) is not supported in iMQ 2.0. No concrete plans yet to support
it in the near future but we'll definitely consider doing it if we
hear a lot of demand for it.

have not been able to address it. We will continue to keep it
on our potential list of new features.
Sorry if I sound pretty wishy-washy in my responses above, but the fact
is that the things you mentioned above had to take a backseat
to other more critical features. That and the usual time/resource
constraints caused them not to be implemented.

Yes, this should be possible (although I don't believe we've tried it here).
The client authentication here is really only between the JMS client and the
web server (not between the tunnel servlet and the iMQ broker) and should
be similar in setup to any other java application talking to iPlanet Web
Server.
