Trying to change payment info to purchase aps. Keeps saying info doesn't match bank but I know it does.  What now or what am I doing wrong?

The name and address that you have on your iTunes account match exactly (including format and spacing etc) the name and address that the card is registered to, and the card was issued by a bank in the same country as you and your iTunes are ? If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.

    It sure sounds to me like something on the iPod is broken. If it's under warranty then I would send it back for repair. If not, check out some of the web repair services, such as iPodResQ etc.

    You need a larger drive or an external drive - they OS needs a minimum of 10GB just for normal operation so you are already experiancing degraded preformance - if yo do not get more space you will start losing data
    Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
    And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
    And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

    I found the answer for real.  I called apple and talked to some dude.  All you have to do is clear your payment information, save it and then re-enter it.  thats the  bug, thats it.
    go to the store drop down menu on the itunes toolbar... click view my account... click edit payment information... select 'none' for your credit card...click done...   then try and buy your music...  if you have a gift card or whatever.   if you are just using your credit card or debit card, re-enter your payment information.
    it worked for me i hope it works for you.

  • Just installed osx snow leopard on my imac. System preferences froze. Was trying to change desktop appearance. No force quit. Had to just shut down computer, twice. What now?????

    I just installed os x snow leopard on my iMac. The system preference is frozen. I was trying to the change desktop apprearance when it froze. Force quit did not work. I just  rebooted. Same thing happened again. What to do???????

    I did run disk utility through the install disc, It made a few corrections but not this one. It still freezes in the screen saver window. I've decided just not to go there anymore!!!!!! We shall see if any other problems pop up with this newly installed OS x snow leopard

    It's hard to tell what password you are referring to.  But my guess is you are being asked for the password to the iPhone's backup you created in iTunes.  It sounds like you chose to encrypt the backup.
    If that is the case, the following applies:
    Warning: Make sure it's a password you will remember or write it down for safekeeping. If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and forget your password, you can't restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable.
    If you can't remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and chooseset up as a new device when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore.

    1. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On

    Try the following to rule out a software problem:

    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

  • I added a new mini ipad and created a new email for it in icloud when i did that i could no longer get back in my apple ID and download anything and lost all my money on my account. it says my account never excisted which I had from 2007 and 1300 items

    Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
    This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.
