New Movement type for Customer consignment Pick Up

Hi Friends,
I am an SD consultant and working on consignment sales scenario.
In consignment pick up I do PGR (POst goods receipt). The standard movement type used is 632. It reduces customer consignment stock and increases Unrestricted stock.
I need a new movement type which will reduces customer consignment stock and increase Quality Inspection stock.
Please advise.

Hi Rajesh,
Use tcode OMJJ and in the change screen select ur mov type 632 and presss F6 (copy as) and give ur new mov type it will copy all the properties of 632 mov type
And changing unrest to qly, check in Update control / WM movement types column whihch is ava on the left and also Deactivate QM inspection / delivery category.. here check ur req..

Our client wants their customer consignment materials are returned back into our QI stock. Currently the standard SAP only provide movement type 632 (Trans.pstng fm customer consgmt to unrestr. stck) to return from Customer consignment stock into Unrest stock.
Could you please let me know how can we fullfill our client schema with standard SAP mov.type?
Or should I create new movement type which is reduce cust.consgn.stock and increase our QI stock ? If yes, how do the configuration will be?

mmm.. ya I have proposed that too, I meant it should be 2 steps process
but they rejected it because if material to be returned into unrest, it will be Physical Pickup consignment schema (material returned physically to us). So they need another schema that will be used for logical consignment pickup which is the material doesnt returned into stock phisically.
Ya, that's a questionably schema, but I really need to know if there is another way to fullfill this schema, e.g. by creating new movement type ?

New Movement type for Goods Issue to Customer

Dear All
I have a scenario. I need to Issue Material to customer internally.
I have created a new movement type by copying Movement type 201.
I have made all the settings as required. But when i go to Transaction code MIGO, and use my new movement i am not able to get the customer data fielld.
I have made the following settings for the new movement type.
1. I hAve activated customer field for the new movement type. in "Field Selection Enjoy Transaction"

Please check whether you have added MIGO in ALLOWED TRANSACTION session

Creation of new movement type for Goods Receipt

Is it possible to create a new movement type same as 101 (goods receipt)? We need to create a separate movement type of 101 for the purpose of separating G/L account to be used for local and importation purchases. Or is there any other way to separate the G/L account for GR of local and importation purchases without creating a new movement type?

You can create new Mvt type by copying Mvt type in OMJJ trxn ..
Please follow the following steps
Check whether you can use the preset movement types.
If not, define new movement types as follows:
1. Once you have carried out the activity, the system displays a dialog
    box for field selection. In this, you can restrict the movement
    types you work with to various fields. To copy a movement type,
    select the field Movement type and choose Continue. The dialog box
    Define work area appears.
2. In the dialog box Define work area, enter the movement type you want
    to copy in the From: field. In the To: field, enter the name of the
    new movement type you want to create. To go to the overview of the
    selected movement types, choose Continue.
3. Select the movement type you want to copy, and choose Edit -> Copy
    as.
    Overwrite the selected movement type with the new movement type
    (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z) and copy all dependent entries.
    The system copies all control indicators from the reference movement
    type to the new movement type.
4. Check all views for the new movement type and, if necessary, change
    the control indicators. Please note that some views have a detail
    screen.
5. Copy the reversal movement type and enter it in the view
    Reversal/follow-on movement types.
6. Save your settings.

Movement type for customer supplied packing material returns

Hi,
The scenario is like this,customer will give the packing material to the company.Company does the service required & return that packing material to customer.Presently we are using 624V movement type can you suggest some other movement type for this.

hi,
this is to inform you that,
if customer is supplying the packaging material to us receive it through 501 - M and Issue 502 - M, manually if you want to track the packing material wise take the material into NON VALUATED ITEM.
you can create a Z report for the same and the fields in that is,
material number, packing material associated with that, quantity received thru 501 - M and consumed against 502 - M and GI quantity.

Movement Types for Vendor Consignment Stock

Hi
I have the following scenario
I have 2 company codes R000 and R100
In R000 I have a store at which all my stock is held - Plant S000
I have a Plant in CoCode R000 that requests stock W000
I also have a plant in CoCode R100 A000. This plant alsot requests stock from S000
What movement types are involved when it comes to vendor consignment stock when
1. Stock comes in from the vendor into Plant S000
2. When stock is issues from S000 and recieved at W000 (same company code)
3. When stock is issues from S000 and received at A000 (differnt company codes)

Hi mate,
1) when you order for vendor consignment , the movement type is 101 with indicator 'K' for consignment. if you want to move it to your own store it is 411 K.
2) for same company code the combination of movement types are
          a) 301 , no freight costs captured
          b) 303 and 305
          c) 351 and 101, purchasing doc (UB)
         d) 641 and 101, purchasing doc. necessary (UB),delivery type included, no billing
3) for different company codes
       643, 101 , purchasing doc (NB), delivery and billing included

We've lost in SPRO while trying to findout how we can change transaction type from 651 to 653 on LR - customer return good receipt document. Can anyone give us a hint hot to and where to change movement type ?

Create new contact types for customer contact worklist

Hi,
I'm new to Collections Management and have been asked to add some new dropdown options to the Create Customer Contact screen, Contact Type field. The current options are 'Outbound Call', 'Inbound Call', 'Visit to Customer' and 'Visit from Customer'. This is viewable in the Worklist (tcode UDM_SUPERVISOR).
I've searched SPRO and thought it might be set in the Customer Service or Notification area but can't find it in either.
Any suggestions welcome.

Goods receipt of customer consignment pick-up

We would like to receive customer consignment pick-up directly into blocked stock.
The standard setup for customer consignment pick-up receives it into unrestricted stock.
Does anybody know how to do that?

No return sales order is needed.
You have to use consignment pick up, for details please check SAP online help:

1. Create a sales order using order type KA .
2. Enter the required data for the customer, the consignment goods and the plant to which the goods are to be returned.
3. Enter all other relevant data and save the order.
4. Create a returns delivery for the sales order (the system automatically chooses delivery type LR). The transaction is completed by the goods issue posting which initiates a transfer posting from the customer's special stock to your plant stock.

Movement Types for Material Reservations

Dear All
I have defined New package for defining new movements types for material reservation in PM order. this activity is carried out at following path.
SPRO> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing--> Maintenance and Service Orders >General Data>Define Movement Types for Material Reservations.
This has been carried out as i want to take the material in using 904 movement as reversal of 261.
Can any body tell me where can I assign tghis package to Order/order types?

In the standard system, movement types are preset which you must not change.
For the components, Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, the entry with the key 'IWO1' is relevant. In addition, you only need the two entries for the goods issue (GI) of materials for maintenance orders and the accompanying reverse operation (GI cancellation).
as of my knowledge we don't have the option to go with ordertype wise settings

" Entry HULIST does not exist in TSTC (check entry) "...how do i resolve this.

New Movement types (Urgent)

Hi,
new movement types are normally required for accounting reasons and not normally for MM reasons.
One example is the write-off movement type. The standard movement type is linked to the GL that is used by the account modifier allocated to that movement type and so whenever we use the standard write-off (scrap) movement for a material at a plant it will ALWAYS post to the same account (as long as the material and plant are the same).
But what if we want to use a different account for the same material plant combination, depending on WHY we are writing it off?
For example, if we drop the item during the process and damage it ourselves then we want to use a "loss account" that will capture the cost of this accident. But if we open the box and find that the item has been stolen, or was damaged by the vendor, we would wnat to write it off to a different account.
So we could add two new movement types, Write-off (stolen), Write-off (vendors defect) etc.
So basically wherever we want to have extra flexibility over which GL is used in standard situations we can use additional movement types (linked to different account modifiers) to achieve this.
I have not really ever seen a GENUINE need for a totally new movement type for anything other than financial reasons. After all you will not suddenly have a different type of movement in MM, they haev all been covered byu the standard (and if they haven't, then this is probably deliberate).
I did once have to generate a new movement type that would update "in-transit" stock but this was for a very special purpose and it is not one that I would ever recommend.

New movement types required for Consignment

Hi Friends,
Need help related to Consignment Movement Type:
in Fill up Process KB/CF my client wants the goods to be in 'Transit' and then next step to Fillup.
Similarly in returns, we wanted the goods to be first to be reflected in 'QI' (MMBE/MB58) and then to be moved to consignment stock.
unline 631/634..are there any movement types that can fix this issue?..if we have to create a new movement type what type can be copied and stored for my client specific requirement.

If the second comment cited above fulfills the first one, can you please let me know how you have achieved this. To the best of my knowledge, in consignment fillup process, we cannot see the "Stock in Transit". Once fillup delivery is made via 631 movement type, the unrestricted stock moves to "Cust.consignment".

Movement type for miscellaneous issues/receipts to customer consignment

We need a way to do a miscellaneous issue/receipt to customer consignment location. How can that be accomplished? What movement type should we use?

You can use movement types in MB1C or MIGO
561 W - To receive material in Customer consignment
562 W - To issue material from Customer consignment
Also you can change the offsetting entry in GBB-BSA and Stock A/c in BSX (In T. Code - OBYC)
If you don't want to hamper 561 W and 562 W settings then take a copy of these movement types in OMJJ and use. Also you can assign a different valuation modifier than BSA to these new movement types and accordingly do account assignment in OBYC.
