New! MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 MOBO/Will not send signal to monitor/

Hi there, I've tried  few topics already on the forum but none were unique to my problem. Let's see if I can make this as clear as possible.
I bought this MOBO in order to run a computer that was given to me. Here are the Specs:
AMD Athlon x2
400W PSU
Nvidia 9800GT
250GB Seagate HDD
Every time I start the computer the fans turn on and even the CD Drive Operates, however my monitor has gotten "No Signal" every time. This is a standard VGA going straight into the motherboard. Tried 2 different monitors with the same result. Even tried without the video card in, no signal.
Now, I have another monitor with me that supports DVI. So now I have tried DVI from the monitor to the GPU, still, no signal.
NOTE* Before you say that BIOS won't run because of the PSU, this computer ran with a better MOBO and only a 280W PSU for about a year before it conked out.
I suspect that I have installed the MOBO wrong, but I'm interested in what the community has to say.

Let's try this again.
Here is my PSU
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4974033&CatId=1078
Max AMPS: 20A
The power connector is in.
CPU

RAM is KingstonKVR 2GB
I will try running it outside of the case with only one RAM card. I still find the CPU dosent have enough power theory odd only because it utilized only a 280W power supply in the past. Only the MOBO and PSU are new.

Have a new IPad with IOS6.  Will not send emails.  Addresses are valid but get notice each time that "recipient was rejected by the server."  Apple has apparently neglected to put out a manual with IOS6 and the previous manual has no indication of what to do.  Really miss Steve Jobs.

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

  • Imac with radeon x 1600 graphics card will not send signal to projector

I am using an Imac running Boot Camp. The Imac has a Radeon X 1600 graphics card. I have installed the latest driver in XP. The Device manager recognizes the correct card.
The problem: I cannot get our projector to pick up the signal from the Imac. I have systematically gone through all the display settings. Others who have similar problems seem to have graphics cards with additional software that allows them to select a clone display feature.
Any thoughts? The projector works fine with a macbook running bootcamp (xp).

Hi Cathy and welcome to Discussions,
sounds to me as if you are missing the Catalyst Control Center, which usually provides these kinds of setting.
You can download both Drivers and the Control Center from the ATI/AMD website here: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/mac/bootcamp-xp.html
The Control Center needs a Windows where the .NET Framework (2.0 at least) is already installed before installing the Control Center, otherwise it does not work.
You can download that from Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd -aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en
    Hope it helps.
    Good Luck

  • Mac Mini will not send iMessages to anyone but apple users all other devices will

I have a new mac mini and it will not send iMessages to people that do not have apple devices.  All my other apple devices will send to people on these devices.  The mac mini says that the users are not registered with iMessages.  My Macbook Pro has no problem.  Any suggestions?

    Hello IslandBoy2671,
Is your MacBook Pro sending the SMS messages through your iPhone?
That is the protocol others are probably using.
Messages (Yosemite): Get and send SMS messages
To make and receive SMS and MMS messages on your Mac, you need an iPhone with iOS 8 that’s signed into iMessage with the same Apple ID.
To send an SMS message, enter a contact or a person’s phone number, enter your text, then press Return.
Your SMS and MMS messages appear on your Mac automatically.
    Take care,
    Nubz

  • I changed laptops and went from Vista to Windows 8. It requires icloud. I did icloud setup but it will not allow me access and wants to give me a new password. That is OK but it will not send me the promised password

I changed laptops and went from Vista to Windows 8. It requires icloud. I did icloud setup but it will not allow me access and wants to give me a new password. That is OK but it will not send me the promised password even though itunes recognizes my password

This has been posted for almost 2 weeks and not one reply. Thanks a bunch! As a newbie to OOo and Mozilla, I am not impressed with responsiveness to support needs with either. So, the future of my new experiment with going non-Microsoft remains an open question.
Oddly enough, the problem mysteriously went away. I have followed the same routine and changed no settings. Suddenly all of the downloaded spreadsheets were no longer read-only. So I consider the matter resolved.

  • IPad will not send new Calendar events to MobileMe

My iPad will not send new or edited changes to MobileMe.
I have turned off syncing through iTunes to prevent multiple listings of the same event. When I add or change an event on my computer it is changed on my iPad thru MobileMe without any problems, but when I change or add an event on my iPad it is not sent back to MobileMe or to my computer.
(in Settings, Push is set to 'on' on the iPad)
    How do I fix this?

    daleq1,
Is your iPad updated to IOS 4.2, or later?
You may have to turn Calendars off/then back on. Apple - MobileMe - Set Up MobileMe
Make sure that you do not choose to remove any calendars from your iPad when turning it off. When turning it back on be sure to choose "Merge with MobileMe" to ensure that you do not lose any calendar data which has been already entered on you iPad.

  • HT4528 Iphone will not send new calendar data but will receive it from PC and ipad.

I just set up a calendar on iphone, ipad and PC.  Iphone will not send new events but will receive from both PC and ipad. I just updated to iOS 6 and am reading others have similar problems.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Are the other phones that can't receive messages iPhones? If not, that could be the problem.
See this Apple doc -> iOS: Using Messages
You can send and receive text messages using the Messages app included with iOS. Messages supports SMS and MMS on iPhone, and iMessage on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. You can also send iMessages using Messages in OS X   Mountain Lion.

    Greetings,
I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
    Good Luck - Cheers,
    M.

  • TS3899 My iPhone will not send email. I deleted my acct. and reopened a new one. I rebooted my device. What else can I do?

My iPhone will not send mail. I deleted the acct. and opened a new one. I rebooted my phone too. I am at a loss as to what I should do next.

Sounds as if you have a POP email account. If that is the case, then deleting the account and adding it back deleted those folders. They will be recreated as needed. As soon as you send an email, the Send folder will be created. As soon as you delete an email the deleted folder will be created, and the same with saving an incomplete email will create the draft folder.

  • Does anyone have a clear solution as to why my new iPhone will not send text messages to some numbers.

Does anyone have a clear solution as to why my new iPhone 5 will not send text messages to some numbers?

I had problems the first few days with text messaging on my new cell. I checked my new contract service thru AT&T online, and it turned out the guy who set up my phone didn't sign me up for the unlimited texting I told him I HAD to have!  I just had to add texting back into my contract.....problem solved.  I hope your problem is solved this easily.

In order to use your Apple ID to create an iCloud account, the primary email address associated with the ID must first be verified.  To do this, Apple will send a verification email to your account and you must respond to the email by clicking the Verify Now link.  Make sure you are check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

  • IPod Touch 4 will not send mail (Comcast POP account)

I'm having an issue sending mail (Comcast) in a new iPod Touch. I sync'd it with iTunes and the mail settings are configured exactly as my iPhone (which works sending & receiving). The iPod will receive mail but will not send. It's also able to get online through our wireless network at home.
The only thing I can think of is that it required me to update iTunes to 10.1 (from 10) before it would even be recognized in iTunes. I haven't sync'd my iPhone to the updated iTunes and really am afraid to, if that's what's causing the issue.
    Here is the message:
    "Canot send Mail"
The connection to the outgoing server "smtp.comcast.net" failed. Additional outgoing mail servers can be configured in settings...."
I can't understand why the iPod's mail settings would be configured any different than the other 4 macs and 1 iPhone in our household.
    Any ideas?

Thanks for your help. After further trouble shooting I found that the iPod was conflicting with other outgoing mail servers that were listed as "Other SMTP Servers" in the mail settings. I deleted them and kept only the one that is used for this one email account.
"Authentication" continues to change from "password" to "MD5 Challenge-Response" on it's own. I don't know what that is, so I'll need to check into it to make sure it isn't an issue.

  • Mail will not send since10.7.2 and iCloud

I have had an @me.com mail account for years but since ICloud installation my Mac Air (only) (Mc Pro is ok)will not send but goes into draught only folder and sticks there.
I removed and re installed ICloud mail account using my @me.com address and the rest is automated.
    Any ideas.
    Thank you
    Barry

    Hi Barry,
It still looks like it's using the same smtp.mail.me.com information but it looks like they're using mail stores with all such of funky load balancers. I had the server a dozen times and kept getting all sorts of different host information back. I bet that p99 is the main load balancer and then it routes it through whatever store you're on.
Unfortunately you'll need to contact iCloud support, the new system is not "normal" and easy to troubleshoot and from what I've seen with my own personal experience still having some performance issues during peak time.
