New Muse 2014.3 update won't update past certain point. Please help!
Everything worked fine until I updated 2014.3.
A hangup occurs right at the beginning of opening the new updated version, when Converting User Libraries. It gets to "Coverting User Libraries(Converting eqipment table)", then to "Coverting User Libraries (Save)" when Muse stops and this screen pops up:
I can open the new Muse update in a separate new user account, but it's very awkward and time consuming to have to log in and out of another user each time I work on Muse.
I have spoken to Adobe and tried their recommendations, with no luck. They felt it might be an Apple's permissions problem, so spoke to Apple at great length and tried their fixes. No luck. They feel it has to be an Adobe problem as the program opens, but gets hung up in the process.
I am baffled as to what to do. I greatly appreciate any help!
Thank you for replying. I was able to get the update working through Adobe support. The advisor found that one of the images I had saved to my Library was blocking the update. Once that image was deleted the update went through and I can now work on my files with the new version. This would be good for Adobe support to know about, it took a lot of calls and at least 3 hours and a senior advisor to figure out what was causing the problem.

I wasn't able to create a new site in Muse as I couldn't get it to open to that point. It kept getting hung up at the same point as I showed in the screenshots above. After talking to a supervisor at Adobe today and working with him for 90 minutes, the problem was fixed. It was a conflict with some files that I had saved in the Library. He navigated to the CC Libraries within Preferences>Adobe>adobemuseCCLibraries>2014.3. He found the offending images because they had the word "Equipment" which was shown on the screen right before the crash. These were images I was saving for future use, and had worked before I updated. This is a good thing to know for future updates! -
I received another Adobe Muse 2014.3 update request. Is this a legitimate update?
I installed the original adobe muse 2014.3 update 20 days ago. This morning (3-06-2015) I had another notification of a Muse update version 2014.3. Is this a legitimate update. I received it on both my home and work computers. I am hesitant to upload. I know of a company that did an Adobe upload that completely messed up their system.

i cannot find a way to update my itunes to 10.6.8. i need this in order to sync my new ipod. i just updated to 10.6.3.help!
As Limnos says, you first need to update to OS X 10.6.8 before you can install iTunes 11 (please note the version numbers).
To update OS X close all running applications and make sure you have a current backup. Then pull down the Apple menu and select Software Update. This may show you several items that you can update. Choose OS X 10.6.8. This may take some time. After the process is complete you will be able to run Software Update again and it ought to offer you iTunes 11. -
Please add the option to be able to upload/link new pdfs with the in-browser editing. I have a restaurant client who is constantly updating their menu! Please help so they can do this themselves!

Why would this be covered under warranty? There is nothing wrong with the device, it simply needs to be restored.
As already stated twice in this thread, disable ALL security software on the computer and restore the device. -

Did you go on-line and fix your billing information? You probably need to do this from iTunes on your computer, not your phone.
If you've double checked your credit card info and it still won't take it, contact your card issuer. -

Thank you for explaining the theory about rendering in Muse but something doesn't work.
I'm running on Win7 - CC2014.2. on 2 different computers. Efe Of course the transparency displays correctly when I preview my page in the browsers (All browsers - also IE11).
Also in preview mode svg is very good but in design mode
In order to render the SVG at design time, Muse hands the SVG to Safari on the Mac and Internet Explorer on Windows and asks it for a bitmap. This bitmap is only used at design time and when viewing the site in a browser that does not support SVG. Unfortunately, the bitmap returned by Internet Explorer strips out partial transparency. Fully transparent pixels should be preserved at design time and all transparency should be preserved when you actually view your site in the browser.
We have not seen or heard of differences in the handling of transparent pixels between copy/pasting and save/import. Hence, I'm wondering if the copy/paste issue is only with partially transparent pixels and if the case that succeeds in a save/import workflow is for fully transparent pixels. To be clear, this transparency issue should only be during design time on Windows. There shouldn't be any issues on the Mac or in the browser.

Since an iPhone 3G cannot be updated past iOS 4.2.1...the end of the line for that model iPhone...you can't do what you want, so there's nothing to be fearful of.

all comes up as plug in failure no matter what browser. i have updated everything. some one please help me? its been going on for a month. but it used to go away if i restarted the browser. and now nothing works.

You don't have much choice, do you? You're either going to have to restore the software or take it to the Genius Bar to see about getting that button fixed.
