New Nano say it is full, but nothing in it
I tried to set up a new Nano (1GB) for friends today. This Nano was purchased for a 45+ individual who is physically and mentally handicapped. His parents are Wintel users (real novices though) and I offered to load his music via my computer (new MacBook - week before the bumps).
Everything seems to work fine BUT it will not take more than 40 mb of music as it shows 852 MB of other. There are only two folders for the Nano - music and Audiobooks - both are now empty but yet it will only take about 20 songs.
Anyone have any advise for this problem? I'd really like to get his music on for him as he loves music and it is a main enjoyment of his life. I tried to delete the audiobooks folder but that selection is not active.
I have a 32 year old son with Down Syndrome and I have to say his iPod Shuffle (we gave it to him when he won gold and bronze medals in the Special Olympics) has to be on of his most cherished possessions.

Try restoring the iPod on the PC (not on the Mac as you'll format it for the Mac and a PC can't natively read the Mac file system). This will erase the hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update the library onto the fresh installation: Restoring iPod to Factory Settings with iTunes 7

My Nano says it's full, but nothing is showing up!
I have ITunes installed and my library is half full. When I plug my Ipod in it says that my IPod is full, but there is nothing stored in My Music files or on my IPod. When I check my IPod settings, it is saying that I am using more than half of my memory, but 0 songs, and 0 pics. Does anyone know what I should do?
I am having the exact same problem!! I even took my nano to the Apple store yesterday, and the "genius" who helped me had no idea what to do. He erased the nano's drive in hopes that it would work, but my iTunes still says that the nano is updated with all songs when there are, in fact, no songs on the nano.
If I can't figure this out on my own, I'm taking the nano back today.

I cannot get my ipod nano to sync. It says it's syncing but nothing from itunes is installed.
I cannot download anything new on my pc to my ipod nano. The pc is new and everything is installed properly. When i coonect the ipod it says it's syncing but nothing happens.

ThanksAn easy check. Go into the settings on your iPad, and under your iCloud account, check the setting for "photos". If there is a setting for "my photo stream" and it is on, then you are using Photo Stream - My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support
Note from that FAQ that Photo Stream never used any of your personal iCloud storage anyway, so buying more personal storage does not increase space for photo stream. Photo stream is a system intended for synchronization of images across multiple devices and was never intended to be used as permanent storage or backup. It is a temporary parking place for images to allow for them to be shared across multiple devices.
With iOS 8.3 and OS X 10.10.3, there is a new service, iCloud Photo Library which actually IS online storage of your photo's - all your photo's. It does use space in your personal iCloud account. Since the default free storage is only 5GB and is used for your iCloud mail, backups, synchronized files and data, the default setting for iCloud Photo Library is to keep all photo's on the device as they are, in order not to fill up your free iCloud storage. If you purchase additional storage and want to remove photos from an iDevice or computer, then you need to change the settings on the device to clear out space once it has uploaded images to your iCloud account.
If, in your iPad's settings, general, about just look at the "version" line. If it is not showing 8.3, then you cannot possibly be using iCloud Photo Library and must be using Photo Stream. Until you upgrade to iOS 8.3 you would not even have the option to use iCloud Photo Library as it is a new service, introduced with iOS 8.3.
If you are running iOS 8.3, under your iCloud account settings, under "Photos" you will have three settings:
1. iCloud Photo Library - enable this to use your personal iCloud account storage for cloud storage of your photo library
2. My Photo Stream - enable this to synchronize photo's across all your devices that share the same iCloud account. This does NOT use any of your personal iCloud account's storage. Images will be automatically deleted from your stream after 30 days.
3. iCloud Photo Sharing - allows you to create albums which can be shared (viewed) with others. -
My bluetooth seems to have stopped working in my car. Both phone and car audio says it is connected but nothing comes through car speaker. I no longer have screen on iphone that says to choose audio source. How do I get that screen back?

From Settings you can pull up Control Center.
In Control Center you can enable "Access from within Apps" (also "Access from Lockscreen")
Now when I'm playing music, I can swipe up from the bottom and a little control center window slides up. Neat - this is new since my old iPod. On this window, the name of the current Bluetooth connection appears. Tap on that, and a list of connected Bluetooth items appears. I just tap on the one I want to connect to and I am now playing through the speakers I want.

My PC says itunes cannot use my phone or ipad as they have latest ios7 and i need to update itunes to latest edition.
When I go into Itunes and download the latest it says "thankyou for downloading" but nothing has changed?

I am trying to install the CC on my Mac because my desktop computer died on me. I logged in, selected photoshop ( or premiere, or after effects) and hit the download button. The site says download in progress but nothing happens. I have downloaded other software ( not adobe) and it worked fine...Any idea what is wrong? I am not a Mac person and I am kind of lost. Thanks!

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
It will not open for me. I go to the "itunes" tab once i'm in my library, and it says "accessing itunes store" but nothing happens.

All I can say is I am having the same problem on my 4th Gen iPod Touch, but not my 3rd gen iPad. Occasionally, the podcast app will work, other times, all the downloads get stuck on "Preparing to Download". No obvious solution has presented itself.
Illaass, none of the previous discussions I see in "more Like This" seem to cover this topic specifically.
Idle speculation: Based on the behavior I have noticed elsewhere in iOS 6, I am convinced what is happening is if you start the podcast download someplace with a crappy connection, all subsequent attempts to download the same file will hang. I have seen this in app updates that stalled due a bad connection. All subsequent attempts to update the app also stall, regardless of the quality of the internet connection. I have to DELETE the app and reinstall it to get it to work. Maybe something similar is going on here with the Podcasts app. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to 'delete' the podcast and then re-download it. -
