New on demand content

When and how often does new on demand content get uploaded? Also there doesn't appear to be any content from Nat Geo?

Nat Geo (& Nat Geo Wild) have a section in the Catchup players for their available programmes if you have the Entertainment package. There is a very small amount of content for both channels.
Don't know if BT offer any Nat Geo archive programmes on demand anymore - doesn't look like it as they are not listed channels within the TV box set category.

Hi Folks,
Please let me know what is new i[SAP NetWeaver BI Content BI content 7.35 like new scenarios or new objects?

813 new library services / content manager: anyone using in production

Greetings,
I'm looking for feed back on the new library services / content manager in 813.
We're currently using InterWoven for CMS to WLP7. We're migrating WLP7 to WLP813 and are pondering whether the CMS built into WLP813 is solid, usable and production ready?
If so we'd drop use and support costs for Interwoven.
What would be lost that I can imediately see is easy promotion of content between dev, qa, prod. We'd have to use DB replication scripts. Could use helps here too.
BTW, I found a nifty DB/table migration tool: opendbcopy.org

i.e I use a QNAP TS410 nas which does all that you want on mac flawlessly, so at the minimum add this to your potential list.

If you just bought the iPhone today, the first time you connect a new iPhone or iOS device to iTunes the first time that is used to sync with another iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iOS device to the new iOS device, or set up the new device as a new device.
Sounds like you did the former and if so, this did not include backing up the new iPhone first. All data on the iPhone was replaced with the backup for the iPod Touch. The data that was on the iPhone at that time is gone.

Not able to add new fields in Content cube

New machine, missing content?

Just purchased a new MacBook Pro and re-installed FCP X. It seems I remember that with my previous machine I had to install some additional content, music, loops, effects. I have totally forgotten where to obtain those. Would appreciate some info.

Hi Tom. Thanks again. But, the Apple loops for Soundtrack Pro folder and the Final Cut Pro sound effects folder are greyed out with no content, yet updates says no updates are available. My transition from the iMac to a MBP has gone well except for this last glitch. I even purchased a new Thunderbolt display and loving it. Maybe I am being too picky but I like all to be where they should be.

When to use the new file based content repository

In Service Pack 4 there's a new implementation of the CMSPI interfaces which is configured by using the following implementation class:
com.bea.content.spi.internal.FileSystemRepositoryImpl
When should one use this new file based repository versus the existing one (configured by using the following class: com.bea.content.spi.internal.RepositoryImpl).
I've read the edocs, but it doesn't state when to use this new one compared to the previous implementation.
We consider using a third party content repository, but for the time being we will use the content repository provided by BEA.

use the new keyword when you don't have an instance of that object in memory that you want to use. For example...

New Forms with Content Types copies all form fields.

I'm using the "NEW" button to create a form based on a Content Type. I know how this worked in the past and I can attach to the right content type and everything.
My problem is that the form generated is wrong. It doesn't take the Content Type selected into account. Instead it just displays everything in the form.
Anyone else have this issue?

New Updated BI content

Hi Experts,
We had gone live with BI system 2 years back. We have not updated the BI content in our system since we had initially installed the system. How do we download the latest BI content that SAP has introduced.

SAP recommends that you install Business Content objects in the following cases:
· After a Content release upgrade
An upgrade to a new Content release usually contains a large number of new and modified Business Content objects. If you want to be able to use the new and modified Business Content, you have to reinstall the Business Content objects. Refer to the Release Notes published with the upgrade. In some cases, SAP will recommend explicitly that you install the A versions of certain objects.
· After installing a Content Support Package
Refer to the SAP Notes that are delivered with each Content Support Package. These notes contain information on why certain Business Content objects are being redelivered.

New Domain - copied content

I have just purchased a new domain and want to copy the web pages from my existing iWeb site to the new domain and edit from there. Are there any pitfalls that I should be ware of due to my copying the old site (which will remain active) content and editing from there?

From your original post it just sounds as though all you want to do is link a new domain name to your existing iWeb site. Is this correct? Then this is a simple procedure. All you need do is go to .Mac and alter your domain name under the Personal Domain name option. Then go to your domain hosting company and alter the DNS settings to use CNAME to point to web.mac.com.
Not sure whether you mean this or whether you want to upload your site directly to your domain hosting company?
There is no big deal to using an ftp program and many people here use such programs as Cyberduck, Fetch and Transmit with no problems at all. All you do is publish to a folder rather than .Mac and then upload to your web space with one of the above.
When you say "Edit from there" you won't be able to do that. Basically, your site is created with iWeb and when you want to alter pages or edit them, then you do this in iWeb. You then need to republish to a folder your edited and updated pages and then re-upload to your web space.
iWeb was designed to be used with .Mac, so obviously it is easier, but the other can be done.
As others have said, if you do use and publish to .Mac, then .Mac is your host. If you purchase a domain name, then the registering company hosts your name, but not your site. .Mac is your host and any domain name is just pointed towards .Mac.
If you purchase a domain name with a hosting package too and upload to that space via ftp, then yes, your site is hosted there instead and has nothing to do with .Mac.

After you are satisfied that the new iPad is setup just like the old one, you can erase it an give it to your spouse.

Iview calls new Page on Content Area

Hello Everybody,
I have a Page with 3 Iviews on it, and would like that an Iview call a new Page.
Wich means, I have Iview 1,2,3 on Page A and if you trigger a link on of these Iviews a new Page B should be loaded.
All I got is that the Page loaded in the Iview itself. Is there an opportunity to change that behavior, to call a Page B from an Iview that reloads the content area with a Page B?
