how can i check this iphone 4s or 5 this is new or refurbished
i want to buy soon from cellpex.com ebay amazon, etc
so plz any body help tell me only only this how can i check before buying this iphone new or refurbished
tell me any tip trick website any other way but plz plz tell me original way

Buy only from an authorized iPhone reseller and you can be sure you'll be getting a new unit. If you buy from an unauthorized source, there will be no way to be certain what you will receive. You may get a new iPhone, you may get a "cleaned-up" iPhone - you will not get one officially refurbished by Apple unless someone is selling a service replacement - or you may get an empty box (that has happened) if you get anything at all. There will be no way you can know in advance.
Regards.

  • Bought 64gb playbook from amazon and not sure if its new or refurbished.

Bought 64gb playbook from amazon for my daughter and not sure if its new or refurbished.  Tablet has small fine scratches on the back, hair stuck in the casing, no screen protector, brown adaptor box has had label of some kind removed, adapter inside is loosely bound.   Amazon supplier advises me to return but also that it isn't supplied with a screen protector or cover and adapter is new and packaged in a brown box.  Not sure whether to accept a replacement or just get a refund.  A bit concerned that this is a refurbished item being supplied as new.
    Solved!

Definately sounds like it's not a new item, this isn't how they come packaged.

  • "New or Refurbished" iPod won't sync; error messages

I recently used my warranty on my old 30 gig classic iPod to get a "new or refurbished" iPod because the battery life was terrible. When i got the iPod everything looked like it was working right, until i got to about 1550/6000 songs. I got a message saying there was a file missing and that the sync could not be completed. I went through some trouble shooting, to no avail. I have Itunes version 8.0.2 and Ipod version 1.3. Any help would be appreciated, this is driving me nuts!

Have you assigned a permanent drive letter to your ipod?

  • Apple store verizon iphone new or refurbished

I took my VZW iphone 4 to the apple store for a bad battery. They replaced the entire phone. The replacement phone was out of a plain black box. How do i tell if this was a new phone or a refurbished iphone. They said some are new and some are Like new. Please help.

You can't tell, and it really doesn't matter.  You turned in a phone with a bad battery and got a like new phone with a new battery.  It has the same warranty period as your original phone or 90 days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.
If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the WarrantyPeriod, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Apple will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new parts or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or refurbished that is equivalent to new in performance and reliability and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product.

  • What are the odds? Repaired, New or Refurbished ZEN MIC

I recently RMAed my Zen Micro due to the headphone jack issue. Being the first time Im dealing with CREATIVE's customer service i decided to look back on past threads and I came across a couple that mentioned that for this issue Creative was sending stand-alone units believed by their users to be "refurbished", where most of them had other technical issues (back button malfunction, firmware issues. etc.)
    My questions are:
Has anybody that had this problem got their Micro "Fix" or replaced with a "NEW" or "Refurbished" Unit's
If you got it fix how was your experience...better or worst?
If by chance you were lucky enough to get it NEW how was your experience....better or worst?
If you got a refurbished how is or was you experience with it....better or worst?
    I'll appreciate your responses!
PS if any of the forums moderators (Catherina or Jeremy) could explain this process it will be also appreciated!

True, how can we tell?...but when you hear the world refurbish by definition it means: "<!--StartFragment --><SPAN class=ResultBodyBlack><B>restore something to good repair: </B><SPAN class=ResultBody>to restore something to a cleaner, brighter, or more functional state"
<SPAN class=ResultBody>this could mean many things (and just in case, Im assuming):
<SPAN class=ResultBody>*An RMAed micro from someone else fixed and sent to you.
<SPAN class=ResultBody>*A guinea pig from firmware tests with a new hard disk.
<SPAN class=ResultBody>*The assumptions are endless... I don't work at creative.... I would fear the worst when I hear the word refurbish until otherwise they tell us how they do it!
<SPAN class=ResultBody>The point of all of this is that we all spent hundreds of dollars on these gadgets to receive one that you don't know its past history, now if the tell me.... that they'll fix mine that's another story (mine had no firmware issues, all buttons work fine....) so all they do is mess with it and send it back. Many people in these forums had complained that their replacements had gone bad after a few months. I didn't spend that amount of money to go through a different issue every few months...truly is not worth it.

  • Replacement iPhones in the UK from Apple Store new or refurbished?

Are replacement handsets offered in the Apple Store new or refurbished? From speaking with the staff there they referred to them as Service Grade handsets and I did notice the box containing the handset had a quality control sticker applied to it.
I am looking to exchange my faulty iPhone but do not want the replacement to be a used and refurbished handset while I am within 14 days of original purchase.
Thanks for any help or information offered.

I doubt you would get a refurb in return. Most of the stock in the UK will still be new stock and their first distribution point will likley be through the uk applestore, but i'm guessing it might be a month or two before they show up. Refurbs can be unsold old stock (unopened) or unwanted returns (openened) or even repaired stock. Before they go on sale they test them out for a while to catch any obvious issues. Typically they are a good deal.
I'm sure if you returned to the applestore and they agreed to a replacement (within 1 year not 12 days) ask that it be from new stock and they will oblige.

  • Apple replace new or refurbished iphone4?

im under 1 year warrning, and my home button doesn't work very well. when i double clicks, it only responds as single click or no respond.
so i'm considering to change a phone at the apple store, but i also worrying about they replace a refurbished iphone 4 to me.
is anyone could answer my question, i will be very appreciate.
    thingk you everyone.

The warranty clearly states it is at Apple's discretion to replace a defective device with a new or refurbished device.
Your existing device is NOT new, it is used.  There is no logical expecation that any company would replace a used device under warranty with a new device.

  • Replacement product. New or refurbished Iphone 5?

"Your repair request is complete and we're sending you a replacement product." Original and replacement serial numbers are shown in the email.  Does this mean I'm getting a new or refurbished Iphone5? I sent this in due to a power issue.

Could be new, or refurbished. All refurbished iPhones get new cases & batteries, making it almost impossible to tell the difference.

  • Are replacement iPhone's new or refurbished?

My iPhone 5 developed a fault and was replaced in store, the replacement came in a unbranded brown box.
Could anyone tell me if it would have been a new or refurbished phone?
    Thanks

Replacement iPhones are not mass manufactured.  They are built by a trained & certified technician.  Every component is new, however, with the possible exception of the camera and the processor, which may be reclaimed parts from previous units.  All components are checked & inspected prior to assembly, and the final assembled product is also quality checked.  This is a higher level of inspection that happens to any mass produced iPhone.
Therefore, replacement iPhones have gone through a higher standard of quality control than a 'new' iPhone.  In some rare cases, you may end up getting a new iPhone from the assembly line, but that's usually only if there are no remanufactured devices available.

  • New vs Refurbished goods

    Hello Experts,
How to stock new and refurbished goods of same material at different cost?
What are the key points to consider in GR, GI and FI posting process if one does it?
Would appreciate your time and help.
    UV

    Hi,
You need to use split valuation.
This effectively gives you the ability to have different accounting views for the same material / Plant combination.
There is a link on the first thread of this forum.
The key points for GR (and any other movements) are that you will then have to always specify the valuation type on every movement (and stock count) in the "batch number" field, so that the system knows which "version" is involved.
As for the financial situation, there are no real points to worry about, you have the ability to use different prices and even different accounts for each "valuation type". The one restriction is that the high level material master record MUST have MAP price control (each valuation type can use either MAP or Std).

Buy a Refurbished iPad? The What, When, Why and How
    http://www.maciverse.com/refurbished-ipad.html
Refurbs have new screen, back and battery.
You can see the model number in Settings>General>About>Model. The model number has a two-letter code, a number and some more letters. The last part stands for the country/region. The first letter can be "F" (refurbished), "M" (normal retail), or "P" (personalized / engraved). For example MC605B is the model MC605 and B is for the region.
