New OS update makes my iPad "jumpy" and slow

Anyone else have this problem and have some advice on how to fix it?

    Sorry but Apple doesn't support downgrading.
    There are a few things you can do to help change the appearance. You can go to settings, general, accessibility and adjust the contrast, text size, bold the text. You can also adjust the brightness in the control panel. Maybe this will make it a little better looking for you.

I have tried the restart of pushing the two buttons together and waiting 10 seconds for the apple symbol which appears and then go backs to the same stuck symbol.     Try manually placin the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.
    Next try DFU mode and restore

  • The new Flash update installer stops at 95% and freezes.

    The new Flash update installer stops at 95% and freezes. I have followed all of the the uninstall procedures, made sure there were no files in the library/internet plugins folder and opened the installer folder and used the sub folder install nothing works. I get the blocked plugin message from video players telling me download the update. I've spent two days now trying everything.

    I just downloaded the updates for my iPad 2.  Now I cannot open my aps.  I have tried rebooting and installing a new ap.  Still doesn't work.  Also cannot choose the "install" under getting a new ap.  It's totally frozen.  Any ideas?

    You tried rebooting this way?
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • New Ipod update screwed up my ipod and now it won't connect

    My computer got reset over the weekend and I had to put all my ipod songs on the computer again. I did that and was about to connect my ipod to sync to the new Itunes. I decided to download and install the new update (which I had been avoiding doing for a while) for the ipod. It downloaded it, but when it tried to install it on my ipod, he gave me an error message. Now, all my ipod Touch shows me is a picture of a USB cord, the Itunes icon and an arrow pointing between the USB and the Itunes icon. I think this means to connect it to Itunes but Itunes doesn't find it when I connect the ipod. I've tried restarting the ipod but it doesnt work and I can't bring it back to factory settings if I can't connect it to itunes.

    you can do a few things (but make sure that all your music on your touch is safely sotred on your computer otherwise if you reset it you could lose all your music on your touch but not on your computer.
    1. press and hold the home button the square at the bottom of the itouch for about 6 seconds (maybe a bit more).

    reseting your ipod deletes everything on it (not number 1.) But as you are syncing your music it should be easy to restore.
    to reset you hold the sleep/wake button and the home button for about 10 seconds then slide the bar to turn off your ipod and connect to your computer it will notify you (if all goes to plan) that its going restore or reset your ipod. if your music is on your computer then your music will be safe.
    if none of this works apple has a returns policy if it is less than a year old and they should replace it unless you have done something that is against the warranty.

  • ITtunes doesn't offer new iOS updates for my iPad 2.

    Although I manually checked with the Update button, it states that my iOS 4.3.5 is on the actual state. Any hints?

    See if the below helps:
    Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw)
    iTunes uses "ipsw" files to restore your device. If those  files  are unusable, then try deleting them, renaming them, or moving the file  to a different directory. This will cause  iTunes to  download a new copy of the IPSW.    When a restore issue is specific to a  user, it is likely due to an unusable .ipsw file. If removing the .ipsw file does not resolve a user-specific restore issue, then the issue is caused by other user-specific security software settings or iTunes preferences. Creating a new user  will also cause new .ipsw restore files to be downloaded in the new  user. You can find the ".ipsw" files in these locations:

    iPhone
    ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
    iPad
    ~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates
    iPod touch
    ~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates

  • Download the same update firmware of iPad again and again

    I had downloaded the update firmware of iPad, when I back home, I clicked on the new firmware and tried to update my iPad, but iTunes asked me to re-download the firmware again. Even I's sure that it's the same firmware.

    This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    * Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    * Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

    Here is the thing the actual license for Apple to have a native YouTube app has expired you must understand this more about Apple removing Google from its ecosystem and less about actual licenses.  If Apple was so inclined I am almost certain they could have continued to provide a native YouTube app.
    Do you really think that Apple Maps are "better" for iOS users?  You know that you can set your default search to another provider such as Bing?  Imagine Apple changing its default Safari search to Bing.  You must understand that Google makes more from searches on iOS devices than it does on everyting that is Andriod (source:http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/google-earns-four-times-more-from-ios-than-a ndroid/).  Apple is slowly and meticulously working on freeing iOS of Google products.
    Of course it is a free market and Apple will most certainly allow Google's apps on their app store.

  • Downloaded new iOS 7 on my iPad mini and now I can't access any wifi

    After the new iOS 7 was downloaded my iPad mini will no longer connect to my wifi network.  I have tried restarting both the iPad and the wifi.  Wifi works fine on others devices with the new operating system. I have tried resetting system settings but still no luck.  Any ideas?

    Same here too - Ipad mini keeps dropping wifi connection since recent iOS 7 update. Sometimes it reconnects after 10 seconds or so but often have to go in and seach for networks and get it to pick up there. Really annoying. Have tried all the various things like rebooting roter, ipad etc. and no joy.

    Resolution
    Move the mouse or trackpad cursor over the center area of the login window so you can see the user icons. Click on the icon of the user that you would like to login as, type in the user's password, and press Return.
    If the login window is configured to show only the name and password fields, type in the user's name and password into the fields, and press Return (even if you cannot see the rest of the login window).
    Additional Information
    This issue will not occur if the display is not sleeping when the account is logged out. Use the steps below to confirm that the account is not configured to log out automatically while the display is sleeping:
    Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General.  Click the padlock to unlock the preference pane and enter your admin password. Click the Advanced button at the bottom, then see if the option "Log out after N minutes of inactivity" (where N is the number of minutes) is enabled.
    Open System Preferences > Energy Saver and configure Display Sleep to occur after the account is logged out, by dragging the slider to a number of minutes that is greater than N was set to in the previous step.
    Important: If automatic log out is not needed, disable "Log out after Nminutes of inactivity" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. This will also prevent the issue.

  • When you develop a new app you make both versions: Free and Paid?

    Really depends on the app. Is it something you would want to buy? Or is there perfectly good free alternatives? 
    App market is highly competitive

    Interested in some kind of app monetization. You have developed new application and you make both versions, the full one for 2.99$ for example and the free one with the ads and some restrictions. Is that a right way or you prefer to make a demo version and then provide a paid one in full function?
