Verify that your tab is there and Hidden is unchecked,

I added the new page tab in the Application “Siebel Universal Agent” and I compiled the project “Xxaa New Project” and “Siebel Universal Agent”. After I logged to “Call Center” but I don’t see the new Page Tab
I navigated in application “Navigate --> Site Map --> User Preferences --> Tab Layout”, but my new page tab "Xxaa New Screen" isn't checked the flag "Hide"
Also I added new Responsibility: "Xxaa New Responsibility" and I added the new view "Xxaa New View" and the User SADMIN has grants.
What I need to do?

Hi, the all objects are news.
I created these objects:
1- New Project : Xxaa New Project
2- New Table : CX_PROJECTS
3- New Business Componet : Xxaa New Business Component
4- New Business Object : Xxaa New Business Object
5- New View : Xxaa New View
6- New New Applet : Xxaa New Applet
Finally I added the new screen (Xxaa New Screen) to application "Siebel Universal Agent" in the new page tab. I compiled the all objects and projects and I copied the file srf to the SERVER. And I created new responsibility (Xxaa New Responsibility) and I added the view (Xxaa New View) in this responsability.
But the new tab is not seen.

When I try to Bookmark a new page, I do not get the "Page Bookmarked or Edit This Bookmark" window. I t does place the site into my bookmarks but I have to go to "organize" bookmarks in order to put it where it belongs.

How are you saving a new bookmark?

How to open a url in new page/tab from Answers passing a value to the url in OBIEE10g

Hello All,
I'm trying to create an answer, A column "request id" would have a url with request id attached to end of url to open a web page. I did get the answer working, I need to open the webpage in a new page rather than in the same obiee answer. We are on OBIEE10g(10.1.2.3) on Windows 2003 R2.
Can anyone give me some information to achieve this ?

New internal hard drive not seen in disk utility

Hi
I replaced my hard drive with a western digital black edition but when I use it as an internal it is not seen by the disk utility.
I have installed and booked from the new drive using USB so it doesn't seem faulty.
When I use the old drive as an internal it works so I don't know what's going wrong.
I have had a look at similar problems but nothing I have tried has helped.

It may be the internal connecting cable that is the problem. If you can install the new HDD in an enclosure, connect it to the MBP, then see if you recognize it using the OSX installation disk. If so, the internal connector should be replaced.

I would like to create a new page that does not show up in my "menu" .

I would like to set up a new page on my website for a specific one-time use.
I don't want the page to show up in my menu at the top.
The new "hidden" page will have specific files that already exist on other pages but re-arranged for a specific client.
Is there a way to do this so that I can just send someone a link to the new hidden page?

Open iWeb and then create the page you want to hide. Open the Inspector and then click on Page and then click on 'do not include page in nav bar'. It is as simple as.

New IPOD 30 gig not seen by one PC is seen by another PC

Hello. I have an IPOD 30 gig that I bought for my son for christmas. It has been working fine for about 3 weeks on my main PC at home. Over the last 1-2 weeks the same PC is no longer "seeing" the IPOD. This same PC is "seeing" and is able to sync with another IPOD, a 4 gig NANO, just fine. The other day I finally had a chance to try to fix it by following all of the posts about 5 Rs etc and the PC is still being difficult, I have tested it on all of my USB ports built in to the PC and on one built into the HP printer, none see the IPOD. I have tried to format it using the HP format USB device tool, but since the IPOD is not seen by the PC it does not allow a format to occur. The IPOD does charge when plugged into the USB port but that is all it does.
So the other day I finally had a moment to test using my laptop, and the stinking IPOD worked as it should, the laptop could "see" the IPOD and Itunes could sync with it fine. I then retested the IPOD to the main PC and it is still not working at all.
Can someone give me a new direction to take to help me make my son happy again?

it just recognizes an Unknown USB device and doesn't find any Driver for iPod.

Clicking on new implemented tab is not navigating to subscreen

hi alll,
there are 4 tabstrip in a screen and i have added one tabstrip. i am calling two subscreen one subscreen for all 4 tabstrip and another one for new added tab strip. i have just copied a old subscreen and added in new subscreen which will be used for 5th tabstrip. my problem is that all tab strip is working and navigating but when i click on new added tab nothing is happening...
please tell me whether i have missed something...??

but the problem is that, i have to do changes in standard screen(T code vbg123) and there are no screen exit so we have to add tabstrip in standard screen. i have copied that program screen in zobject and trying to make changes... but after adding the 5th tabstrip i am not able to navigate and even i am not able to see the places where i can add screen number like this code

New Pages downloaded but not recognized

I've downloaded the new pages but my mac does not recognize it when I try to open a pages document. It notes as "installed" on the apple apps page but I cannot open any of my Pages documents as I get a pop up window that reads "...requires new verison of Pages/" Rebooted many times.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

New pages documents will not load as email attachment

For some reason I cannot send any pages documents as an attachement in the updated pages app? Anyone else having this problem?

I am having the same problem, and zipping doesn't help. .pages docs are not even listed as part of what gmail rejects, but it must see something executable in the files.

New Info Tab information not syncing

I just got an ipod (nano fourth generation) and itunes for the first time. Since I wanted everything organized, I went through and changed the info tabs to all my music while in Itunes and the synced. Unfortunately my ipod doesn't seem to have added all the new info tab information (artist, genre, etc.) that I added and is still going by the old information.
Any suggestions?

Solved: New iPod nano 8g not seen in My Computer/iTunes after Apple Support

I received this iPod as a Christmas gift and it has taken months to get it working but I am happy to say I finally did. I wanted to post what I did to solve the problem in case anyone else is having the same issue.
Background Information:
- Windows XP operating system (I had to upgrade to SP 2 just for this iPod)
- Computer works fine with an older iPod nano
- New iPod nano would simply bring up the "Install Hardware Wizard" and always resulted in "Cannot Install Hardware"
- Nothing would show up in My Computer
- iPod would say "Connected, Eject before disconnecting" when it was connected
- Under "Services" iPod service was running & Started
- Under "Device Manager" iPod showed up under "Other Devices" with an exclamation/question mark for "iPod" (note: this did not show up under USB controllers)
What I Have Tried That Didn't Work:
- Downloading new iTunes. I did this a few times and ended up with 7.6.1.9
- Uninstall and reinstall iTunes and Quicktime
- Tried Install Hardware Wizard option to search for drivers in c:\WINNT\inf (or c:\windows\inf if that's what you have)
- Restarted computer several times and tried creating a new user in Windows XP
- Tried going to "Right-click-My Computer"-"Manage"-"Device Manager" and uninstalled any instance of iPod (under "Other Devices") and tried refreshing / re-installing
- Tried stopping and restarting the iPod service in "Services"
- Tried restarting iPod, resetting it, all those 5 R's and other Apple support docs online
- Tried finding answers in forums
- Finally today I spent a few hours on the phone with Apple Support, and after repeating everything in their self-help documents online, and it still didn't work, they said "Call Microsoft and tell them you have a driver issue" and that my new iPod needed some additional driver (which is why old iPod works but not new)
So that's where I left off this afternoon. I think I've seen people who haven't had much luck getting Microsoft support to help with iPod issues, so I continued searching online. I tried updating my Video driver from the Gateway.com website and that didn't work.
On the microsoft.com website, the best I could find was a registry change which told me to delete registry keys for UpperFilters and LowerFilters, which I didn't even have so I couldn't try.
Finally, here is the solution to what worked:
I searched for iPod - specific drivers, and on some random help forum - http://www.computing.net/hardware/wwwboard/forum/43267.html
You'll see they mention "usbstor.inf" which needs to be in c:\winnt\inf (or c:\windows\inf). I checked my computer and it was missing. Luckily, it was there on my work laptop which was also recently upgraded to Windows XP so I e-mailed it to myself (glad I didn't have to trust some one online).
I also followed his directions to add "usbstor.sys" from c:\winnt\servicepack files\i386\ to c:\winnt\system32\drivers.
Lastly, I saw some other usb*.inf and usb*.pnf files on my laptop so I decided what-the-heck, I'll grab them all since I only had usbvideo.inf, and thus I extracted the following into my c:\winnt\inf directory: usb.inf, usb.pnf, usbport.inf, usbport.pnf, usbprint.pnf, usbprint.inf, usbstor.pnf, usbtor.inf.
I restarted my computer and right away my iPod magically appeared in MyComputer and when I opened iTunes, it was also successfully there. Funny thing is, Windows Install Hardware Wizard popped up and I pointed it to that directory -- guess what, it didn't work. Apparently that doesn't matter. Every time I plug in my iPod now, I will just skip the "Install New Hardware Wizard" and go straight to iTunes.
I know this was lengthy but I thought I could save some one else hours of checking around--- just go look in your "inf" directory and make sure you have the usbstor.inf file!
