New PC how to sync an old Palm TX up to it

I lost my job and am now trying to set up and sync my palm TX to my home PC for the first time. The info I need is on my palm. How do I upload it to my PC?
I also kept some palm files from my work PC.

Does your PC have Bluetooth?
If your PC is a Windows computer, is it 32bit or 64bit?
To find this to go Start-->Right click on Computer or My Computer and select Properties. Look for the System Type.

Sure, as soon as you open iTunes with the new iPod connected, it will have a "Welcome to your New iPod" screen. Just choose Restore from backup.

How to Sync your Old iPhone Settings to a new iPhone (Text, Wallpaper, Icon

I have upgraded from a 4gb to an 8gb and then to a 16gb iPhone. Today I purchased the new 3G 16gb iPhone and have transferred all of my information (including Text Messages) to my new iPhone.
What they tell you in the store is to just plug in your phone and hit sync. That doesn't give you everything. To get everything from your old phone to your new one, just follow these steps:
1) Sync your old iPhone (when finished, unplug it)
2) Plug in the new iPhone
3) Ask to "Restore" (this may bomb out but just restart the restore and it should work)
4) After #3 above, the system will ask you if you want to resync from your new iPhone. DO NOT USE THAT OPTION) Instead, choose from the drop down selection Your Old iPhone Backup)
5) Let it run. When completed, you will only have your system changes (Wallpaper, icons, text messages, etc.)
6) Now sync your iPhone to your iTunes (remember that you will have to reselect your playlists, movies, etc.)
You should now have the new iPhone with all your old iPhone's information

Go to settings/facetime and tap the ID there and log out and log in with new ID.
Go to settings/messages and turn off imessages wait 30 seconds and turn it back on, go to “receive messages at” tap on the ID there, sign out and sign in with new ID.
Go to settings/icloud and delete the account and when prompted select “keep information on your device” then turn it back on with the new ID.
To edit account information tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores / Apple ID: / View Apple ID
To change your iTunes Store country, sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you would like to use, tap Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID/Country/Region

How to sync contacts from Palm profile to online account.

I got my palm pre last week and the store transfered my contacts from my old phone to my palm pre. When I go to edit a contact, it shows their default account is to my palm pre and therefore their info's not syncing with my gmail account. When I enter new contacts, they default to google and sync with my gmail account.
Does anybody know how to change my existing contacts default account so they'll sync with google?

What i know is that palm profile info cant be extracted to a computer. Your best option is to get your old phone and sync it to your computer.

my have a new computer because my old one broke and i need to sync all my apps from my ipod touch to my new itunes library. how can i done so?

- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:

- The connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up

When i go to sync my new songs itll only sync my old songs

It wont let me sync my new songs onto my Nano , it'll only sync the songs I all ready have. Or it won't show any songs .

How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? Automatically or manually? In other words, what options and settings do you have configured/enabled, from under your iPod's Summary and Music tabs.
You can access these panes by plugging your iPod in and clicking on it when it appears under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the Summary tab. Right alongside that should be the music tab.

I recently had my laptop stolen ALONG with my external hard drive with all my backups. How can I get my OLD tunes into the NEW laptop? Can I hook up my iTouch and make the songs go from the iTouch TO the new laptop?
Any suggestions would be great! I have seen programs I can purchase but figure there has to be a simpler way.

Help! how to sync iCal and Palm?

Hi out there...I recently turned back in my Palm Treo 680 and bought an iPhone. I want to sync my Palm data with iCal. There is information out there about how to do this if you still have the handheld device, but I don't, I only have the Palm files on my desktop machine. Does anyone have information about how to successfully sync between Palm and iCal given this situation? Thanks!

I you had been synchronizing your Treo 680 using iSync and the iSync Palm Conduit, you're set: simply synchronize your iPhone using iTunes and your contact and event data will flow to it from the synchronization database.
If you had been synchronizing your Treo 680 using the Palm Desktop, then launch that application, select the Address List option under the View menu, then Export… under the File menu.

When I downloaded a new version of Firefox the old version was never deleted, and now I can't tell which is the new and how to delete the old.?

I have two Firefox versions on my laptop. One is 3.6.10 I believe and the other is some other version of 3.6. Why didn't it disappear when I downloaded one of your requests to update? Now I don't know how to delete the other one or even which one is the oldest?

If you mean that you see both version listed in Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs then you most likely only have the version with the highest number installed. You posted with a Firefox 3.6.6 user agent. It can happen that the updater didn't remove or updated the registry keys properly and left the old keys.

Restoring new iPad to last sync with old iPad

I just replaced my iPad due to battery issue. When I connect to iTunes to restore using backup it states the software is to old on the new one (guess it does not have 4.2). It suggests I start as a new install, upgrade software then go back and restore to old...my question is does it matter what I name the new one and can I delete it later after restoring to the name of my old iPad or does it matter? I would give the new iPad a different name for the time being before your finally restore from the backup of the old iPad to avoid possible problems (I doubt you have to do that but I would not take the chance) . After you restore you can just click on the name of the iPad in the left-hand side of iTunes under Devices and change the name like you would a file name.
