New Performance Section Added to the UWL/UWL Sizing Guide

Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year!  I just wanted to inform you of some new documentation.  On the main UWL WIKI with the help of our development support colleagues, have added a Performance section in this WIKI.  It's worth taking a look.
[Universal Worklist Wiki|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/ehU]
Also, our colleagues in development support put together a handy sizing guide for UWL. You can find the document under this path: [Sizing documentation|www.service.sap.com/sizing]  --> sizing guidelines --> Solutions and Platforms New Structure --> SAP NetWeaver  --> scroll down to find Universal Worklist.  Here you will find the new sizing guideline for working with the Universal Worklist.

  • How to make the scroll bar in flex automate to focus on the new ui component added in the canvas?

    Hi all ,
    There is a canvas container where am adding charts in separate windows.
    So whenever a new chart is added the scroll bar needs to set the focus on the present chart window.
    For this i made the functionality for the canvas container to scroll whenever a new chart is added using the below code
    canvasContainer.verticalScrollPosition = canvasContainer.maxVerticalScrollPosition;
    But the calculations for the vertical position are not precise...
    Is there anything else I should do to make the scroll happen automatically as the chart windows get added in the container ??
    Any suggestions pls
    Regards,
    Ajantha

    Many many thanks to Frank,
    In the css,use the follwing style settings to hide the scroll bar
    af|carousel::spin-bar{
    visibility: hidden;
    af|carousel::spin-h-previous-icon-style{
    visibility: hidden;
    af|carousel::spin-h-next-icon-style{
    visibility: hidden;
    af|carousel::spin-info{

  • Will LR get the new brush feature added to the graduated filter and radial filter like the latest version of Camera raw?

    Will LR get the new brush feature added to the graduated filter and radial filter like the latest version of Camera raw?

    OK, at least I can look forward to it and use Photoshop & CR instead of LR for these filters until then.
    Thanks

  • Since I upgraded to Yosemite I see "iMac" followed by a long number under "Shared" in the navigatie column of Finder. Every day a new item is added with the same number, but followed by (1), (2) etc. My iMac has gotten very slooooow.

    Since I upgrade my iMac to Yosemite I see "iMac" followed by a long number under "Shared" in the navigatie column of the Finder. Every day a new item is added with the same name and number, but followed by (1), (2) etc.
    I use Time Machine.

    I suffered with numbers next to my unit's name in Shared Devices, Finder Pane.
    What I did was turned off my Time Capsule and whilst it was off I renamed my Macbook Pro in System Preferences / Shared.
    I turned on the Time Capsule and thus far, 12 hours later the change has stuck.
    There are many people suffering this bug, it's to do with ghosting on your network... Where your current machine see's itself as a ghost, hence you get a numbered mac...???

  • New row getting added to the final row that is total rows.

    Hi All,
    I am appending 4th row which will have summation of all the numeric fields of the above 3 rows.
    Finally there is a last row which is having summation of all theabove 3 rows.which is done using do_sum in fieldcatlog.
    When I am appending the 4th row a new row is getting added after the last row.
    If i append 5 rows.
    I am getting 5 rows as final summation rows.

    Please post your MDX calculated member code, and (example) query results you are getting. It sounds like you are using separate attributes and expecting them to be related, but they aren't. For them to be related, you need to be using a hierarchy that
    includes those two attributes.  In my experience the easiest way to construct a dimension that I am basing calculations on is to lock it down to one central hierarchy.  You could probably also do some mdx tricks but I don't know it if would perform
    well.

  • Can I add new zone section without drop the index

    Hi,
    Could somebody tell me is there a way to add new zone section for XML document without drop the index and then recreate it.
    Thanks

    in oracle 8i version there is no need for rebuliding index for creation of zonal section. Server process started by ctxsrv
    will do the dml .And later you can rebuild
    the index when you make many changes to documents.(not neccessary)

  • Updated to 7.0.6 on my iPhone 5s and now my phone is all out of whack. It won't sync the new playlists I added after the update though when it's plugged into iTunes it says it's synced. Help please!

    So I updated my iPhone 5s to version 7.0.6 yesterday, and now my iPhone music isn't working properly. It won't sync the playlists that I added after the update though when it's plugged in on iTunes it says that the music is synced. When I select a song in a playlist on the phone it shuffles through the playlists for like 3 seconds and picks a totally different song to play. I tried reinstalling iTunes, I tried restoring the iPhone, is it just a bug with the update? Nothing works. Any solutions are welcome.

    DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

  • New Utilities Section added to HTML DB Studio

    All,
    We have added a new section called Utilities to the HTML DB Studio (http://htmldb.oracle.com/studio).
    This section is meant for any code snippets and utilities which you may have developed for use with HTML DB. We have pre-seeded the section with a couple of our own.
    Please check it out and thanks for your support!
    Thanks,

    Chris,
    Thanks for pointing that out - URL was correct, the way that the Forum displayed it was not (it was including the ")" as part of the link.

  • How to extend the mapping table when a new field is added to the data model?

    Hi Experts,
    I have added a new field to the entity PCTR and run the structures.. My new field was created in structure /MDG?_SX_0G_PCTR.
    My understanding is that I have to map it in the service mapping for USMDZ6_0G_PCTR.
    How do I get it in structure MDGF_PRFT_CTR_RPLCTN_REQ_PRFT to be able to map it?
    Thanks
    Riaan

    Hi Abdullah,
    Thanks for the document. I have managed to successfully map the field in USMD_IDOC_0G_PRCMAS.
    The field that I am using is PHINR(Profit Center area)  because we don't want the Profit center Area to be created with the default for the standard area. Instead we want to be able to send a different field value and also be able to change the field value in the profit center.
    It still defaults to the Standard group and does not use my entry when I replicate using the idoc.
    Any suggestions
    Thanks
    Riaan

    previouslu i was using the setElement method. now i have replaced with the addRow method...
    but anyways...the control is not going to any of these overridden methods...and none of the elements are added to the table. But i comment of all the addRow, getValueAt, getColumnClass methods...then it's adding rows to the table but with only the first column all the remaiing columns are just empty...
    i am fed up with this...if you observe i have commented out somany lines...becoz i am trying to save my boolean array values into a vector..but that was also in vain...
    i appreciate for ur help...
    thanks

    Don't use null layouts. Learn how to use layout managers.
    The basic design of your frame should be something like this:
    JPanel tablePanel = new JPanel( set your desired layout manager here );
    JScrollPane scrollPane = new JScrollPane( tablePanel );Now when you invoke your search code to create a new table the code will be something like:
    JTable table = new JTable(...);
    tablePanel.add( table );
    tablePanel.revalidate();The revalidate() will invoke the layout manager and the new preferred size of the panel will be calculated and then scrollbars will be added if required.
    The key is to use a layout manager and to revalidate the panel containing the tables.

  • How to get a scroll bar to scroll down as new elements are added

    I have a JPanel that displays a list of information. As new information is added to the bottom of the list, a scroll bar appears. I require the scroll bar to scroll down as the new elements are added so that the most recent one's are in view all the time. Any ideas on how to do this?
    Thanks

    before adding each component.
    get the scrollbar object
    store the
    ScrollBar sb = JFrame.getScrollBar();
    int cmax = scrollbar.getVisibleAmount();
    add component .....
    int nmax = scrollbar.getVisibleAmount();
    int diff = nmax - cmax;
    sb.setValue(sb.getValue() + diff);
    assuming you can get the scrollbar object from the
    JFrame, ContentPane of JScrollPane.

  • Scrolling to next range in advanced table when new rows are added.

    I programatically implemented Add New Row in an advanced table.
    "Records Displayed" attribute of advanced table =10, so as log as I add upto 10 new rows the table displays 10 rows,if I add 11th record the new record is appended @ 11th position but I've to choose "Next" link on the advanced table to see the 11th row.Is it possible to show the last rowset in the advanced table when new rows are added?
    The underlaying VO executes the following code when "Add New Row" button is pressed:
    int rCount = this.getFetchedRowCount();
    int rangeSize = this.getRangeSize();
    int rangeStart = this.getRangeStart();
    if (rCount < rangeSize) {
    this.insertRowAtRangeIndex(rCount, newRow);
    } else {
    this.setRangeSize(rCount+1);
    this.insertRowAtRangeIndex(rCount, newRow);
    this.setCurrentRow(newRow);
    To scroll to the 11-20 rows (when added more than 10 rows),I tried with following options, but none of them helped:
    1) int newRangeStart = ( rCount / 10 ) * 10 ;
    this.setRangeStart(newRangeStart);
    2) this.scrollRange(newRangeStart);
    3) this.scrollRange(rCount);
    4) int newRangePage = rCount / 10;
    this.scrollToRangePage(newRangePage+1);
    5) this.getNextRangeSet();
    Please let me if it is possible to achieve.

    What happens if you just add the new row without specifying where to add it ? doesn't it add the new row on the same page as the last row ?
    Thanks
