New phone wifi issues, 500 internal server error

hello, hoping some one could help as im stuck! quick run down of my setup, i beleive i have a home hub 4, i run a tablet, a laptop and a desktop pc on my wifi, i run my sky box of an ethernet cable, all these devices work fine.
i got a new phone sunday, it was a sony experia m2. got it home and set it all up, found out it would not work connected to my wifi, it connects to it fine, i can use all my apps fine, when i go on browser i can get onto google, facebook, twiter and hotmail, may be more but these are all i have tried and got to work, if i try other sites i get a white screen that says 500 internal server error, internal error. i took it back to three and it connects fine to their wifi, i then took it round my mums and my wifes mums house and it also connects fine with there wifi. i spoke to three technical support and after 45 mins i was told to take it back to store and replace it, which i did and same fault. took it back again and was givern and differant phone, now a htc 610, guess what, same fault.
i have called bt 3 times, first time the line was check, second time i was directed into a bt setup page after entering a load of numbers in the browser bar and i changed an interface number? the third time i was told the phone is fine and the broadband is fine, clearly there is a fault or setup error some were, i have had 3 brand new phones which neiher work
can anyone shed any light on this? phone shop cant do anything else as its not a problem with the phone and im not getting anywere with bt
thanks
sam

i have managed to fix this myself, now very happy. i have googled so much on this issue but could not find anything, found this site and posted before i looked around. i found a post about somone with the same issue with an i phone. some one posted this link
http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/44328/c/
carried this out and it now works fine.

  • New Apache sites return 500 Internal Server Error for all CFML requests

This is an ugly one.  I think it is an Apache2 - ColdFusion 9 web server connector problem.
I have two Solaris Unix web servers.  Each of these servers have a dozen and a half Apache web sites each one connected to one of five ColdFusion instances.
All, but TWO of them are working properly.  We created two new Apache web sites and connected them to a new ColdFusion instance.  This worked fine on one of our boxes, the development one, but not on the other, production of course.
Whenever we try to request a cfm url from one of these sites on the production server we get a 500 Internal Server Error.  HTML pages serve up just fine, and the new instance's Administrator runs fine on its 8305 port.  So both Apache and ColdFusion seem to be working independently, but they are not talking to each other.  All the other Apache sites connected to the other four ColdFusion instances also work properly.
This has led me to investigate the web server connectors.  They have always been tricky and problematic to set up on these boxes.  The built in tools have never worked for us on these boxes and we have always had to manually compile the connectors and configure the connections in the web sites..
But, as far as I can tell, all the connection setups are the same between working examples and these non-working sites.
Any insights into what else I should be checking and|or how web server connectors actually work (they have alwasy been mysterious black boxes to me) would be greatly appreciated.
    TIA
    Ian

    Some more information.
I took a closer look at the logs (I wasn't looking
in the Apache logs before).  I found this block for the last attempt to
    request a cfm page.

This is critical issue for us and is showstopper for Go-Live. So any kind of help is highly appreciated.
    Thank you,

If its Java only error then there wont be any dump in ST22.
Strange issue for you, in general if we get 500 error, there should be details of it in the same page.
You said this issue is occuring for only one user, is it getting replicated every time?
You are also seeing the same error when u login as that particular user?
Do one thing, assign him the Content Admin role and then do the preview of this iView form content admin and see if ur still seeing this error.

    Hello,
I would prefer local language instead of US english.....
    My tips.
    1. DID you tried to Not apply the UDO/UDF things?
    2. Do not log in to the database, start from
    3. Please post the error message itself....
    4. If you are running on MS SQL 2005 server (not express) , You can start SQL profiler, and monitor the New Database creation.... you will see in profielr where is the error message and which tables / data is missing.
    If i know well,
When you create a new company, the SBO-COMMON database is used to deploy the new database....
If you get stock, reinstall your sbo-common from the last applyied patch..... (Detach SBO-common, move the files another directory, and start upgarder.exe).

  • HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error) on 7921 IP Phone

Hello all, I'm attempting to run the sample push2phone application (ASP) to deliver text messages to a model 7921 ip phone. I have edited the sample source as needed, installed the required COM server & associated the phone with the "sdkapps" user in CallManager.
After executing the push, the web page informs me that it has sent the message to the phone. However, the phone never shows the pushed message on its display. The only thing I see change on the phone is that the phrase "Host Not Found" appears in the lower text bar.
I also used a packet sniffer to get a better look at what's going on. After the web server delivers the CiscoIPPhoneExecute object via POST, the HTTP response code from the ip phone is 500 "Internal Server Error".
Any ideas about what I could be missing? My CallManager version is 4.1.(3). I recently deployed the 4-1-devpack-65 to install the necessary firmware for the 7921 phone.
    Thanks for any assistance,
    -Mike

Mike, thank you for your reply.
The XML is simply the push2phone ASP sample included in the SDK. It's just a CiscoIPPhoneExecute object which pushes an alert message to the phone. We actually debugged the sample code, extracted the URLs from the debugger and then pasted them into a browser on our machines; we were able to view the URL. The URLs aren't the problem.
We have discovered the actual problem to be an issue with the phone's usage of DNS. We noticed that in the CallManager Enterprise Parameter area, there were many URLs that referenced DSNs (e.g. "cisco1" for CCM server). We then replaced the DSN strings with IP addresses, *especially for the parameter URL Authenticate*, and the phone was then able to receive the alert messages. As far as we can tell, the phone does recognize our DNS server (it shows up under the Network Settings summary). We can't explain why the phone doesn't properly use DNS, and we'd rather not use fixed IP addresses in CCM, but that is the workaround.
Also, I have to say that from a troubleshooting perspective, the phone is practically useless. We saw that it issued a "Host Not Found" message when we attempted to push XML to it. But how were we supposed to know which host it couldn't find, and which operation (i.e. HTTP GET or POST) triggered the error? The phone trace logs have lots of information in them, but nothing related to IP services. It sure would be nice to have access to a shell on the phone in order to assist in diagnosing just these kind of connectivity errors. Also, some improved IP service logging would be useful.
    Hope this helps someone else.
    -Mike

    2. In Exceptions, please include "192.168.*" <without quotes>
    3. Click Ok and Run your page again from Jdeveloper.

  • CF10 500 internal server errors

I have recently installed CF10 on a Win 2008 R2 server it will open the main pages (index.cfm) but if I try to browse to the links within the site I get a 500  internal server error or 404 file not found. I have looked at a few articles in regards to creating a virtual directory named jakarta this works for only one site and seems to only work if I set that virtual directoyr to the wsconfig\1 folder. I am not familiar with CF by anymeans so if answers could be as rookie as possible.
    Thanks,

Thank  you for your kind words A little bit which I've learned in CF in only because of all our CF users who post their queries/answers and indeed you are one of them
Usually when you set Enable 32-bit Application pool to false, you need not to restart IIS however during maintenance window you can restart IIS
Another thing which I want to confirm, have you added an application/applications under a website and assigned those to separate application pools?
If yes, then please change the application's pool to the website's pool. So if, default website has 4 applications under it, then all four applications must be assigned with Default App pool (The app pool for default website).
For testing purpose, Add a new webiste in IIS. Place a test.cfm and test.html in the web root of this website. As you mentioned that you have configured connector with All, then you need not to run the web server configuration tool. Add CFIDE and jakarta as virtual directories in this new website. Also, make sure that the ISAPI filter has a tomcat entry for this website as shown in the screenshot below. It should be there because you have configured with All so the tomcat entry should be at the server level and this new website will inherit the property from server.
You can also enable the detailed error for this test website and share the error which browser will return if you encounter the same issue Share the results for .cfm and .html returned by the browser.

    Thanks

    User,
You are not running JDEV, but OA Framework, hence you should use the OA Framework Forum to ask.

  • 500 Internal Server Error in BI Publisher

    Hi Guys,
Just started to use BI publisher. When I tried to export report from BI Answer in
Data Model >> General Setting >> Type: BI Answer
In the DETAILS I clicked on the flash light icon.
A new window popped up with the following Error Message:
    500 Internal Server Error
    OracleJSP: oracle.jsp.provider.JspCompileException:
    Errors compiling:C:\OracleBI\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\application-deployments\xmlpserver\xmlpserver\persistence\_pages\\_saw__popup.java
Error: Could not find or load main class com.sun.tools.javac.Main
The URL looks unusual too: https://localhost/xmlpserver/saw_popup.jsp?f=
ALL I did recently was enable SSL encryption. Not sure if this mucked up the URL setting or this is something a bigger issue. I did Google around with the error code but couldn't find anyone having similar problem.
Would be greatful if someone can shed some light on this.
    Many thanks.

    Hi JAM,
No I didnt. I checked HTTP setting it was already set to HTTPS.
Error says it cannot compile some "saw__popup.java" and that could not load the main class.
when I googled the error code, other (non-BI) sites mentioned about JDK issue. I got the latest one JDK 1.7.0 so bit lost really.

  • Error 500--Internal Server Error  - when deploying strust application

    Hello everyone,
We have a large strust-based web application. The application is being deployed as an EAR file.
We are getting a NullPointerException when we deploy the application on Weblogic 8.1 in production mode. The exception
occurs when we access the application for the first time after redeployment.
When we restart the server entirely we do not get the exception anymore.
This exception does occur only rarely in development mode.
In production mode it occurrs every time.
    Has anyone experienced similar issues?
    Regards,
    Oliver Enseling

The problem seems to occur due to servlet reloading.... There seems to be
a bug that reloads the ActionServlet even without any changes made to the
code base... The reload fails for the ActionServlet making it null
Turn off servlet reloading in your weblogic.xml using
    <container-descriptor>
    <servlet-reload-check-secs>-1</servlet-reload-check-secs>
    </container-descriptor>
Let me know if this helps ...The default is to check for every one sec... I am not sure whether these
kind of defaults make sense once a application is moved into production
    mode...
If the issue gets resolved with the above suggested workaround .... let me
know... since the issue is spurious and I am trying to reach a higher
confidence level in the solution proposed by me.....

    Hi experts
    Thank you for the response.
    The issue is resolved.
In addition to the solution provided above followed and error throws in bipublisher.I also found in the logs of bipublisher throwing “access denied for user to path /users/weblogic”.
    Solution:
    1) Removed the weblogic folder and weblogic.atr from the installed drive (Oracle/Middleware/instances/instances1/bifoundation/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/coreapplication_obips1/catalog/Your Catalog/root/users)
    2)Restart the BI Services
    3)Login using weblogic in bipublisher.
After this,I could able to create the Data Model in bipublisher.
    Thanks,
    Padmini
