New playlists vanish when I open/close the music player

I never should have upgraded -- teaching a dance class tonight and every play list I create vanishes after I upload any new music from the Macbook's iTunes program, or close the music app and reopen it.
If someone can respond in the next few minutes you might save my life, if not, me = screwed.

Thank you for your message. I believe that this will happen when you have a dark theme applied to the new version of Firefox. It has been resolved in the 29.0.1 update that went out yesterday and would love to hear if this has improved the issue for you. I understand that the tabs are disappearing and it sounds like they may be blending into the tab bar.
However! if this is not the case, can you please show a screenshot of the tabs [[How do I create a screenshot of my problem?]] after trying to produce this in Safe Mode [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
I hope we find the culprit, looking forward to your reply.
I also noticed you have 4 versions of Flash installed.

Did you try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?

How can I fix my display that had vertical lines when I open/close the lid?

Just a few minutes ago, as I was adjusting the Macbook's lid, I got a huge vertical line showing on my display. The line goes away after I fiddled with the lid a little. Now, every time I open/close the lid, the lines sometimes pop in and out, always in the same area.
I'm scared the wires connecting to the Macbook's display is loose or something. What can I fix it?

Sounds like the LVDS cable might have come loose somewhere or is faulty, would not say it's the LCD just yet. If it's under warranty just take it to any apple store or local service provider. If it's out of warranty I would not suggest taking to an Apple Store because they will just quote you the whole display, but an Apple Service Provider might be able or wiling to attempt to just repair the faulty part in the display(just know your model display does not come apart easily) http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1434 , good luck

How can I close the music player?

Good morning,
     I just bought an iPod nano 6G, and this is my firs Apple product.
     Anyway, there is something that is bottering me. I use the iPod as a watch, and sometimes I use as music player. After I'm done listening to music and want to use the iPod JUST as a watch, when I press the Wake button, to visualize the hours, it shows the music player. And there is this 'pause' icon in the top bar.
     Isn't there a way to close this player???

It might help to also put the iPod to sleep from a screen other than the Now Playing screen when listening to music.
As I said already above...
Again, others have synced their iPod with iTunes after making sure this setting was On and it worked from there. Is your Nano running the 1.2 firmware?

When i "Refresh Music Library" the music player is...

I tried to transfer some music with the Nokia Music Manager to the phone, and from some reason the transferring is stopped, and i have got a failure message. After i tried to refreshing the music library on my phone and when i do this, the music player is switching off everytime. I can not delete now, the bad musics from the phone, and i cant open a "Now playing" folder and i have got a little symbol above the music title. This is a playlist symbol with a key.

Hello, thanks for Your reply. I have checked zhe space on my card. just 100 Mb used from 512 Mb. When i delete the music files, it can not open any tracklist either. If i loading back the original files,(which were in the damaged track list) in this case it is opening the old tracklist and playing this files. Not any other. If i give any more music to this tracklist, it doesnt matter, it is playing just the original 51 piece mp3, which are in the damaged list. If any file missing from this list, it is just jumping to the neyt track.
Im an IT programmer and i never ever have seen the same symptomes.:?!

Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

Firefox sent an email to me to confirm that I had asked the above question. The email had a link to click. When I clicked it from Firefox, nothing happened. Then I opened IE, signed into Comcast, opened the email, clicked the link, and it brought me here.

New tabs are not updating the names of the sites they have loaded. When I open a new tab and load a site, the tab simply stays named "New Tab". When I open a link in a new window, it shows "Connecting..." even while its fully loaded.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Previous to that I never had any problems with Mail; but Safari has been very slow on occasions. I don't know if the 2 pbs are linked.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
