New plugins not appearing...

hi
i recently purchased some extra plugins for ps cs4. I was told they would work on a 64bit versions of ps cs4 but i have tried everything to get them to work and nothing shows up in photoshop.
I have copy and pasted them into the plugins folder as per the instructions but still nothing...
Please can anyone help me, or if any one has had the same problem?

Since you're copying them yourself, and apparently you're using a 64 bit Windows OS (please confirm), it is possible you have crossed-up the 32 and 64 bit versions. It is important you properly correllate your 32 bit plug-ins with your 32 bit Photoshop, and your 64 bit plug-ins with your 64 bit Photoshop.
Photoshop CS4 normally installs both 32 and 64 bit software on your computer, and you can start either one from the start menu. Make sure you're starting the one you think you are. You can choose Help - About Photoshop from within Photoshop. If the About screen shows x64, you're running the 64 bit Photoshop.
Photoshop's installation folders, on a 64 bit Windows system are as follows:
64 bit Photoshop
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4
32 bit Photoshop
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4
Note the (x86) in the 32 bit path.
Make sure when you're copying your plug-in files that they go in the proper plug-ins subfolder of the above.

I'm working on an issue with a Photoshop plugin. This is an automation plugin that works fine under CS3 on mac, CS CS2 and CS3 for pc. However on the mac under CS2 or lower it does not load, and will not appear as an option.
Has anyone else had similar issues and know a common resolution or work around.

Brett, I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with support last week and specifically said that they all stopped working when I changed how I was using my catalogs...... I even gave up control of my computer for the technician to look at everything. So, yeah, I gave that info many times. As soon as I said the word "plugin", they told me they couldn't offer support of any kind. Even when I told them they had always worked fine until I started using multiple catalogs and I felt that the new catalog usage was the issue. Either way, I figured it out. Just wish it hadn't cost me 2 weeks of no working plugins.

New window not appearing

While working on Oracle Discoverer. When the user opens a report and clicks on the search button a new window should appear but it doesn't.

Third party plugins not appearing in file plugins

PS CS5 12.1 X64 on Apple 10.6.4 on MacBookPro Model 5.3 is not reading the plugin subfolders. I have tried Noiseware, Noise Ninja, Fixerbundle, and Focus Magic. None show up. These do not appear under filters either.

I typicaly run 71% of memory which is the default. Running PS in 32 bit mode limits me to roughly 1500 MB which sucks for large images. This means I have to use my plugins in 32 bit, than exit, change the Command I back to 64 bit, reopen, than do panos where I have roughly 5000 MB. Canon 1DSIII CR2 files typicaly produce 270 MB tifs.
I do panos on my PC using 12 GB in 64 Bit, so I guess I am spoiled to having lot of memory available. Oh well the Mac is only for field work, basicly storage until I return home. Ist and last Mac!

New field not appearing in component configuration for standard web dypro

I'm trying to add a new column to a table in an sap web dynpro component. I've enhanced the view to add in the new column but also noticed that it's using component configuration. When I go into the approriate configuration, however, all of the existing columns are there but my new column does not appear. Is there something else I need to do to pull the new field into the configuration?

Standard object 0020 gives fields only available in standard tables MARA , MARC , MBEW, MAKT . I too faced this problem for ML based fields in accounting & costing views ( as these fields are not in MBEW they are in CKMLHD). The said Z field if it does not exist in MARC it cannot be seen through std object. U need to do a saperate recording to upload this field. I dont see any other option to my knowledge.U can up load remaing fields through the std object 0020 & create a saperate recorded LSMW only for this Z field.

Audiounit/VST plugins not appearing in Premiere Pro CC

I recently the purchased the Slate Virtual Bus Compressor plugin bundle and was hoping to use it in Premiere Pro CC on OSX 10.8.4
Currently the plugins will not show at all in Premiere, but do show in Audition. I would have expected that they shared the same engine when it came to scanning and registering VST and Audiounit plugins.
All the other plugins by this company show and work with no problems in Premiere.
Is there any way to get Premiere to refresh the plugin list so that it 'sees' the new plugins?
I bought these plugins after I installed Premiere CC so maybe that has something to do with it?

PrPro has more limited use of VST's, than full audio-editing programs, like Audition.
In very general terms, there are three "types" of VST's, relating to PrPro:
Those VST's that can load and be used by PrPro
Those VST's that can load, but cannot be used by PrPro (in older versions, the user got a one-time warning about such VST's. Not sure if the warnings still exist. Basically, the message stated "PrPro can load this VST, but cannot use it."
Those VST's that cannot be loaded (so cannot be used either), and will often cause PrPro to hang on launch. PrPro writes a "blacklist," at each failure, so that it does not try to load that VST again.
It will probably take a response from an Adobe Developer, to tell us exactly what some VST's load and work fine in PrPro, but others cause issues, or just do not show up.

New lot not appearing in qa32 - v urgent

Hi all,
I have an urgent issue to resolve. we have developed a report that shows those batches
-for which UD has been done 8 days before but no despatch till date OR
-for which no UD has been done and date of production is 8 days before from today.
User wants that a new lot for above batches should appear for UD again in qa32.
For this i have defined procedure as:
1. Run REPORT Which will identify batches older than 8 days (from the days of production or last UD date).
2.Go to QA07 Enter material codes, Batch numbers, and plant and select the option of Block Batch at lot creation.This will transfer all the mentioned batches to blocked stock and create an inspection lot automatically.simultaneously an inspection lot will start appearing in transaction QA32, against this batch for inspection.
Now the issue is that after QA07, I can see in mb52 that stock of the batch move to restricted, but no inspection lot appears in qa32. a new inspection lot should appear in qa32.
any ideas ? have i missed anything? i have also done changes in inspection plan,
cant figure out what i missed. pls respond.

Let me simplify my question:
i have some batches in system for which UD had been done 8 days
before but no despatch has been done against those batches.User
want to give UD again for those batches.
what i advised him to change the inspection plan of those
materials by putting '9' in 'usage' and '4'in 'status' fields in
qp01 and then go to qa07 and enter material codes, Batch
numbers, and plant and select the option of Block Batch at lot
creation.The batches automatically transferred to blocked stock.
Now the issue is that after batches transferrence to block stock,
new lot should appear in qa32 but its not appearing.any ideas??
Have I missed any thing? Kindly give a prompt reply.

New EIT Not appearing for Organization classification

Hi all,
I have set up a new EIT for the organization. I have run the scripts for populatting
the information_type in the hr_org_information_types table and also hr_org_info_types_by_class but the new EIT is not appearing in the new classification.
Can someone help me as to what I have missed out.

[iTunes11] New songs not appear in library

Hi everyone,
With the new itunes 11 I can't see new songs or new movies in my local library (adding from iTunes Store or finder)
I have a macbook unibody with snow leopard.
I found a workaround : disable iTunes Match => new songs (or other itunes files) appear instantly.
I'm very surprised that this bug was'nt fixed before the release of the iTunes 11, am I the only one with this bug ?

According to your post, my understanding is that the external list not display the new item button.
When we have created a new external list, by default, the new item button would not appear in the form.
However, we can first create a new item using the new item button in the Ribbon.
Then, after we have created a new item in the external list,
the new item button would display in the form as below.
You can create a new item using the ribbon, then check whether it works.

New dimensions not appearing in erpi

Hi,
I am using erpi version 11.1.2.1 with e-business 12 and Hyperion Planning. We added 2 new dimensions in epma for the planning application and successfully deployed. I have refreshed the metadata within erpi but the new dimensions are not appearing in the target application page and so these cannot be mapped from e-business. The admin guide says a refresh of the metadata synchronises erpi and the app. The refresh does not appear to be failing.
Can erpi recognise new dimensions in Planning?

My colleague tried and it worked. My laptop was intermittedly losing connectivity so we put it down to that. Glad the erpi does sync dimensions from planning!

Why do new items not appear in my library?

I have noticed that new song, movies, etc. do not appear in my library under iTunes 10.7 I can see them in the Recently Added playlist, but not in my library. I just bought The Avengers. The digital copy downloaded and installed to my iTunes and I synced it to my iPad, but it is not in the library under Movies. Likewise the free MP3 Avengers Assemble album is not there. Apps I buy do show up in the list and do update.

This happens when you apply a motion tween to a shape that

If you delete these "tween" symbols in the library - the
animation on stage will be lost -

New contacts not appearing in contact list after ios upgrade

I recently updated my iphone to the latest ios, since then when I have saved a new contact to my phone, even though it appears with the new contact, say in recents, it does not appear in my contacts list?

I added the contact from the "Recents" tab. It now shows in "recents" as that persons name - rather than just the phone number, but doesn't appear in my contact list. Same thing happened when I saved a new contact from a message I received & also when I saved from a contact that had been SMS'd to me.

Your reply did not help me access an update to JAVA to work with 10.8.3 to play JAVA related games. This is a REAL PROBLEM! As I subscribe to game websites and my family cannot play these games. I have contacted Apple Support and we tried uninstalling JAVA and reinstalling it from JAVA .com. We made sure my computer (IMAC) was set up to accept JAVA was turned on and I still have the same problem. JAVA related games will not play. The error message says "An updated JAVA has not been detected" So what am I to do? Who can help me with this type of problem? Apple Support asked me to contact JAVA by phone 1-800-223-1711 but they do not have any phone support. I was directed to a site called Live Support" and they charge $80.00 to resolve problems for an Apple computer or $1.00 a minute. Great choices! I accepted this offer however Apple will not allow third party developers to help. Do you have any ideas that will really help me?

New episodes not appearing in iTunes

I have uploaded eight episodes total and only one is showing up in iTunes. I checked my feed on feedvalidator.org and the feed works fine. I also subscribed to the podcast and I am able to download all eight episodes but only the first episode shows up in iTunes on our podcast page. Since I am able to subscribe to the podcast and see all eight episodes I assume I am just waiting on iTunes to update my podcast page. Is that what is going on?

(please always post these when you have a question to save detective work). The feed seems to be OK - I'm afraid it's just a question of waiting until the Steore catches up. It usually takes 1-2 days for new episodes to appear, but the Store (which caches the feeds and visits them periodically to checkfor updates) may check for feed which haven't been updated for some time less frequently - it's two months since the previous episode wasa published. It should update eventually.

New Photos not appearing in iPhoto but are in Show Contents

I am have a few issues with iPhoto.
1. My last two imports of photos do not appear. the Last import is showing photos from back in 2013. If I Show Contents I can drill down and see in Master, Original a 2014/04/12 & 13 folder with sub folders and all the pictures. I made a not of the file names and back in Iphoto I tried to search for the image name but it did not retrn any results
2. I have had to force quit iPhoto 2-3 times in the past two days
3. Today when I open iPhoto, the Events do not show photo is is a black box. If I scroll up and down it then shows some photos, like I would nomally see.
Do this issue seem to indicate a problem with iPhoto, is there an index type issuse.. can I rebuild iPhoto in some way

No. If you know the file name of the photos that are not showing do a search form them with the search tool:
If the image shows up Control (right) - click on it and select Show Event from the contextual menu.
If it does'nt kdo the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
