New Podcast alert (for example in Dock)

Hi there,
does anyone know how could I see an alert if a new podcast is downloaded for example on the itunes icon in dock ( there is a plug-in called DockArt wich does something like this but it removes the iTunes icon from dock an replaces it with the current song artwork).
I've tried to make an application with "Automator", which sends me an email, but the problem with automator is that you can not tell it to stop sending email ,if there is no new podcast( i mean there is nothing like if else cluase in automator). so it sends me a blank email periodically until there is a new podcast and this time it sends an email with the name of podcast.
does anyone know an Applescript or sht like this for that??

If you click get info on each of the Albums and set the Album Artist to be the same for all 4 Albums
eg Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras
Album name is the same for all
then you can set the Artist name for the actual artist performing the track.
This should resolve to 1 Album

Iphone will not show new message alert for email sent to subfolders

I have successfully synced my iphone with the exchange server so I am getting push email from entourage to my phone. However I have subfolders set up in entourage so that my email is organised. These subfolders are showing on my iphone. Although email sent to subfolders is pushed to the iphone (to the relevant subfolders), when the phone is on the home screen it does not show a new mail alert for those emails. It only shows a new mail alert for emails going to the main inbox. Obviously I need it to alert me if email is coming in to subfolders. Can anyone help with setting this up?

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. (No data loss)

You just need to add or change the folder action handler:

There are only a few folder actions available - for adding or removing folder items, closing or moving a folder window, and opening a folder. See the AppleScript Language Guide.

Prime Infastructure Email alerts for example via Gmail ??

Hello,
I am using PI 2.1. Is it possible to e mail notification also set up a Gmail account? The client environment I have no Exchanche own server.

Just an update for anyone who may stumble on this issue and have the same problem. In version 1.4 of Prime Infrastructure if you change your virtual domain in the top right and then go to alerts and choose email options you have a completely new list you can set up. Doing this you can do a root folder for a company or district you are providing for and setup email alerts for only that teir and bellow of access. This way they only see alerts from APs and devices they have access too. Meanwhile you can leave the root teir to email yourself and then separate them out via inbox rules as desired.
This may be possible on older versions of Prime, but I did not notice the email alerts being an option while under the other domains until 1.4.

Old podcast rss feed no longer exists, do I need to creat a new podcast show for new rss feed?

I have an established podcast (Tommy Unit Live) but the RSS feed is no longer valid. Do I need to request a new show (set up a new show) to update with the currect RSS feed?

Do you mean that the old feed no longer exists and you don't have access to the server to replace it? In that case your best hope is to email Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com and ask them to transfer the iTunes Store's attention to the new feed: give them the ID number or the URL of the Store page, and the URL of the new feed - check this beforehand by subscribing manually in iTunes (from the 'Advanced' menu) so that you are sure you are dealing with a working feed.
They've just done this for someone else so hopefully they will do it for you: the alternative is to start again from scratch and submit the new feed as a completely new podcast (you would need to change the title slightly or you will be told it has already been submitted).

New Advanced tab for Calibration-how to use properly?

Dear Adobe and Lens profilers,
I have just used the newest Lens Profile version and noticed the new "Advanced" tab on the right beside "Calibration". There are lots of choices for rectilinear, fisheye, distortion, etc. I need information on how to use the advanced tab - I do not see updates to the user guides that are available that address this new tab. For example, there are "one parameter radial distortion" up to five parameters for various items, there is a sensor pixel shape choice - could someone from Adobe please address and explain these choices and how to properly set them for use,(including the vignette model and principal point choices, and all of these).

Hi Debra, in general, the higher the number of parameters, the better the potential for correction (especially for full frame cameras). For example, the three-parameter radial model in some cases will do a better job than the two-parameter radial model. I have not found cases yet where the 5 parameter (radial & tangential) model is helpful. As you can see, the default option is Auto which means Lens Profile Creator does an internal comparison of which model works best for your provided measurement data, and picks the appropriate model automatically. (This is largely why it is not necessary to fiddle with the Advanced settings.)
When you find cases where Lens Profile Creator is not building a satisfactory profile, my experience has been that the common issues cannot actually be addressed by using the Advanced settings. For example, if the profile is slightly overcorrecting for vignetting, changing the Vignette model parameters in the Advanced section often does not help. (This does not mean that future versions of ALPC won't provide other ways to deal with it. It just means that for now ALPC does not provide a direct means by which to tweak a profile that is slightly off.) If you are using Camera Raw or Lightroom, my suggestion is to use the "Correction Amount" sliders beneath the profile selection to adjust the correction. In the vignette overcorrection case, instead of using the default value of 100, dial it back to 80 or 60 (as an example)

Feature request: Repeat Alert for Calendar

At some apps you are able to set "Repeat Alert", for example: 1 time, 2 times, etc.
But not for the "Calendar".
I have meetings and I don't want to miss them.
But now there is no possibility to have the alert until I push the home button or slide to stop...
How can I address it to Apple?

New good movement for deliveries

Hello,
usual movement code for delivery good issue is 601.
my customer would like to distinguish the good issues made for a specific delivery type.
I need then to create a new movement type for example Z60 in copy of standard 601.
My question is: how can I make sure that for my good issues made for a specific delivery type will be done with the newly created good movement code???

If you want to use new movement type in your delivery, then, you have to assign the new movement type in the schedule line category that gets determined in the sales order.
a. So, first from SD end, you need to create a new item category (VOV7), item category group and a schedule line category (VOV6).
b. Assign Item category group to materail and do the item category determination (VOV4).
c. Assing the new movement type into schedule line category (VOV6) and then create the new determination for schedule line (VOV5) category.
So, when you create a sales order, the new item category gets determined which in turn will lead to new schedule line category determination. When you create a delivery the new movement type will be determined.
You have to get in touch with your MM counterpart to configure the new movement type. It requires a bit of config. You should make sure that right GL accounts are put in while configuring the movement type.
You can also put in the manual item category in item category determination. But everytime you create a sales order, you will have to change the item cat manually so that all other parameters get redetermined.

Hello everyone,
it is somehow possible that iTunes notifies me whether visually or audible when a Podcast was just updated?
If not, I think it would be quite a nice feature to have in upcoming iTunes versions

FIXED!
To remove the 'new podcast' notification from your itunes dock icon do the following:
In itunes:
1) view/visualizer/itunes visualizer
2) uncheck 'show unread podcasts'

Alert for new business partner

I am a novice at programming, what would the code be for an alert that would trigger when a new client is added? I have one but but it keeps on picking up all of the clients created each day when I only want those that have not been sent before (in other words between the alert intervals)

The easiest solution is to run the query/alert based on date - for example show me all the customers that were added yesterday. If you do this you would get an alert every day of ones for the previous day.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Hi Jay,
Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.

You can change the scene by calling stage.setScene(new Scene(newContentParent));
I don't think you are quite asking for a complete scene change though as you "want the main window and the scene in one stage". The main window is a stage (as Stage extends Window). And a given stage can only contain one scene at a time (though you can swap it out by calling setScene as described earlier).
What I think you are really asking for how can you replace some content part of the active Scene on the Stage. To do that you can set a layout manager like a HBox or a BorderPane as the root of your scene, then change out the content of the layout manager. For example:
