New problem calling PL/SQL based WS from BPEL process

I have created a webservice based on a PL/SQL package based function with JDeveloper and deployed the web service on the BPEL OC4J server.
Calling the web service endpoint directly from internet explorer works fine.
I have also created and deployed a BPEL process to call this web service. When i run the process it completes normally but returns an Oracle error in the out-variable: "Ora-06502 Numerical value error".
Through my PL/SQL logging i can see that the input-variable to the PL/SQL function is empty (so when i try to use this value it gives me the Ora-06502 error).
When i check the audit trail of the BPEL process instance i find that the assignment of the input variable is ok. This input variable is used in the invokation of the web service (and at this point still has the proper value).
What can be wrong? (the only part i cannot trace is the working of the Java stub created by JDeveloper).
Any ideas?

Problem calling AS3 class's methods from Flex Project

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but after 2 days of Web
searching and 2 books give up; I am a Java and c# programmer and am
having problems calling AS3 classes (in packages) from Flex Builder
2 Flex Projects; the AS3 classes work great as Flex Builder "AS3
Projects", but when I try to use the classes in a Flex Builder
"Flex Project" I am able to see and set their properties, but
cannot see (through "code completion") their methods (unless the
class extends another AS3 class; and in that case I can see the
base class's methods). Here is the code:

Calling a sql script file from a function.

Hi,
I need to call a sql script file from a user defined function. Currently i am trying to do this in Oracle SQL Developer. i tried calling with
@ {filename}, EXECUTE IMMEDIATE etc, but nothing worked. I get the Compiler error.
Basically my need is to call catldap.sql file so that DBMS_LDAP package gets loaded and then I can call the API functions from this.
Please let me know if this is possible doing in a PL/SQL function.

All SQL and PL/SQL are parsed and executed by an Oracle server process. The SQL and PL/SQL engines each expects a single command block at a time. Neither of these can accept a series of separate commands as a single call and then execute each in turn. The SQL engine expects a single SQL statement at a time. The PL engine expects a single PL/SQL anonymous block at a time.
This server process also cannot break into the local file system to access script files. Nor can it hack across the network to access script files on the client.
In order for the server process to access local files, a directory object needs to be created and the current Oracle schema needs read and/or write access on that directory object. As sound security principles apply.
There's no PL/SQL command to execute a script. You must not mistake SQL*Plus commands (this client has a very limited vocabulary) with PL/SQL commands. SQL*Plus executes its own commands.. and send SQL and PL/SQL commands (a statement block a time) to the Oracle server process to be serviced and executed.
It is also a very bad idea to execute external script contents from inside an Oracle server process - as that script resides externally and thus outside Oracle's security mechanisms. This means that is is pretty easy for someone to access that script, compromise it, and then have you inject and execute the contents of that script into the database.
It is not sound security.
Last issue - it is even worse to have application PL/SQL code dynamically creating (or trying to create) portions of the Oracle data dictionary and PL/SQL call interface.
The database needs to be installed correctly - and this includes loading and executing the required rdbms/admin scripts during database installation. It does not make sense at all for application code to try and execute such scripts. It raises numerous issues, including having to allow that application code full and unrestricted SYS access to the database instance. A very serious security violation.
I do not agree at all with the approach you want to use.

URGENT: Error while invoking soap-based web service from BPEL process

I am trying to invoke a soap-based web service deployed in a different OC4J container but on the same iAS middle tier install as the BPEL server. The deployment is successful. I am running 10.1.2 BPEL server.
But invoking a process throws the following error.

1. Login to Application as sysadmin.
2. Navigate to Intergrated SOA Gateway > Integration Repository.
3. Click on search on right hand side of the page.
4. In the Internal Name type "FND_USER_PKG" and click Go.
5. Click on the User link.
6. Under the "Web Service - SOA Provider", click in the "View WSDL". Copy the complete URL "http://test:8003/webservices/SOAProvider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/?wsdl"
7. Open the soapUI.
8. Click File > new soapUI Project.
9. Test the web service.

b. Set the Value to 'Y' at SITE level . This means function security feature is enabled and all API calls for PL/SQL APIs, Oracle e-Commerce Gateway, and concurrent programs will be checked for user security before they are invoked.
3. Retest the issue by Generating and Deploying the required package.
4. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

Invoking Web Service with PKI Authentication from BPEL process

Hello --
I am trying to test calling a Web service utilizing PKI-based authentication from BPEL running under the 10.1.2.0.2 Process Manager. When I access the service from a browser I am prompted for Username and Password the first time. When I attempt to access it from BPEL I receive this error:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found
Is it possible to access this service from BPEL in 10.1.2.0.2? How can I pass the service the required credentials?

I've gotten past the original error by importing the security certificate of the Web service into my keystore/truststore. I'm also running the process on SOA 10.1.3.1.0. Now when I invoke the Web service from the BPEL process I get this error:
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error:
javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException:
javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 403 Forbidden
I've tried passing the credentials every way I can -- partner link properties, Oracle Web Services Manager, whatever -- and still get the same error. I would expect to see a 401 error for problems with credentials, not a 403.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the quick reply.Actually the web service is already deployed on the server.What I want to do is use existing wsdl file of the deployed web service and invoke the method of the same using oracle PM.
If I remove element which uses apachesoap:Map type it just works fine also I am getting the complex object returned by the web service method.But when I try to set appDataDef which is of type apachesoap:Map(Axis conversion for java.util.Map and it uses namespace xmlns:apachesoap="http://xml.apache.org/xml-soap") I am getting the error.
Can you give me some direction to use this exising wsdl file to set map object or it is not possible.

1. What does this "*" refer to in the query and how can I retrieve the value of LENGTH*WIDTH* HEIGHT from the query where LENGTH,WIDTH and HEIGHT are the individual field in the table.
2.What does this " AS" refer to? If " ITEM_CUBE " is the alies for the table name "ITEM" to retrieve the value, then query shoud be evaluated as

I am using DB adapter of Oracle JDeveloper in BPEL process flow, where I can able to select only one master table in DB adapter say SUPPLIER and its attributes at a time.But as per my requirment I need to select both the table (CUBE and SUPPLIER) in a single adapter to execute my query.
It can be achievable by using two DB adapter , One to execute the nested query and another to execute the main qyery considering value of nested query as a parameter.But I want to achieve it by using a single one.
Am I correct with my concept?
Please suggest how to get it ?

Yes we have got the same error while invoking from SOAP UI.
But wsdl alone is opening through browser.
But when we try opening the endpoint url we are getting the above error.
Please help!

I tried to invoke WS from BPEL process

I tried to invoke WS from BPEL process. And error occurred when I deployed the process.
Error:
[ERROR ORABPEL-10902]: COMPILING FAILED.
[NOTE]: IN "bpel.xml", XML syntax analysis failed. The reason is "Part Element not defined".
In "http://192.168.0.188:8989/newTest-newTest-context-root/MyorderListWS?wsdl" , Message Part Element "{http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}any" is not defined in any SCHEMA。
Please make sure to spell the definite name of the ELEMENT correctly and import WSDL completely.

Bind the output data (Xml) from BPEL process to ADF SelectOneChoice Control

Hello,
My requirement is to invoke a BPEL process from ADF page and display returned results in a select one choice (drop down box).
I have created a Data Control for the BPEL process through Web service data control and tried to invoke the BPEL process. I could see from the BPEL console that BPEL process is getting invoked. But the ADF doesn't bind any of the output to Select one choice.
It doesn't even show any error.
Can you plz help me how to bind the output of the BPEL process to ADF SelectOneChoice control.
The Xml Which I recieve from BPEL process is

And I have given this XSD url while creating the Web Service Data Control by deploying it into the Oracle App server.
So, I can see the tree structure of "Return" as "StateTransitionsProcessResponse->StateChanges->toState,fromState"
I have binded the toState field of the Data Control to the SelectOneChoice ADF control in a jspx page by using List binding editor.
I have selected,
Base data source as "Variables" (Currently I don't need to update any table),
List Data source as "process: getStateTransitions.process.StateTransitionsProcessResponse.stateChanges" (Web Service Data Control)
Base Data source attribute as "process_input"
List Data Source Attribute as "toState"
I can initiate the web service (BPEL process) by providing the necessary input value like 'Open' or 'Pending' or 'Assigned' but the SelectOneChoice control doesn't populate with any values.
