New Projects - Button on left side missing

I do not have the buttons like "Piano", "Podcast", "Voice", "Songwriting" etc. on the left in the window...
General it seems that the program works but especially at the button "new projects" the buttons and possibilities to select are not available. Do you have any feedback ? Thanks...

Region buttons to left side of screen

Hi,
In APEX 4.1 I would like to move my region buttons (like Save, Cancel etc in a Master Detail form) to the left side of the screen, now they're on the right side.
Reason: Some reports are pretty wide, so I need to use the horizontal scrollbar to see buttons.
In some cases, using IE7, the right part of the screen is even disappeared without horizontal scrollbar.
Theme: 7. Modern Blue
Region Template: Reports Region
Browser: Firefox8 / IE8
I looked into the Region template, but it's not clear to me how to modify that.

I know this is an old thread but still an issue for me. In older versions of APEX it was easy enough to copy a region template and the just change the "align" from right to left. But now it seems this is buried in a CSS with a class of rc-content-button. I found many *.css files on the web server that seem to define the rc-content-button class but have now idea which specific file it is so and I could not see where in any one of them that caused the buttons to align to the right.
Like the original poster, I have a wide tabular for that requires users to page right to submit the page. I'd really like to avoid this.

How to add Saved Filter to my new analysis, not in left side catalog pane?

I have set up a set of filters which i have saved in the /Shared Folders/Filters directory (i created a Filters directory there). The analysis where i created this saved filter works just fine.
Now i start a new analysis and i try to add the filter by navigating within the Catalog pane in the lower left corner. But there isn't anything in there by the few top level directories. I don't see any other objects, including sub-folders, analyses, etc.
I don't understand why i do not see anything at all. When i use the top/main Catalog link, of course i see all sorts of analysis, filters, prompts, etc., which i have in my environment.

Thanks.Is the new analysis in the same Subject Area? Saved Filters are tied to Subject Areas so if the SA is different, you won't see it.

When the button (switch)(left side) turn off the sound back to on

It's either hardware or it's software. For the software side, I would suggest force-restarting the phone: press Home and Sleep until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider).
If that doesn't do the trick, reset the phone's settings by doing Settings / General / Reset / Reset All Settings. This does not erase your data, just the settings, which you may need to readjust.
If it is still misbehaving, time to get evil on that phone's azz! Back up all your stuff by plugging it to an iTunes-equipped computer, and do a sync. Set iTunes to store the backup locally. Confirm you have a valid backup in iTunes / Preferences / Devices. Then unplug the phone and wipe it clean by doing Settings / General / Reset / Erase All Content and Settings. Check if sound has returned on the virgin phone. If so, restore your stuff by plugging it back into iTunes, going to its Summary tab and doing a Restore.
If the phone remains mute thru all this, then it is hardware and a trip to the Store will be inevitable. You will get an exchange phone, most probably. Do the Restore on the new device to get your stuff back.

"New Project" choose option & when choose new, "Electric Guitar" -nothing!

Hi, Please would someone help me figure this GB preview/problem out?!
GB was fine for a few months, new computer etc but then...
here it is:
One day when I opened GB, i selected 'electric guitar' icon option in the 'new project' section where you can choose 'software instrument',
'real instrument' and 'electric guitar' options
to start the project off with, clicked 'choose' and nothing happened.
So i chose a normal one and went in and tried to get up a 'new track' and selected 'electric guitar' from there, but nothing. No amps or pedals anywhere in the right hand list section. Normal/software tracks opened and worked ok.
Now there are no icons/options in the 'new project' window,
at all!
It's dark grey - but if i double click on the 'new project' button on left list,
it brings up a basic style project name/signature/tempo etc window and then when it opens - does with software track.
So if i choose 'new track' from Track menu and select 'electric guitar' from the drop down preview tab thing w pictures like the preview thing used to be on the 'new project' window used to have, it doesn't do anything 'cept bring up the keyboard...
All the 'magic' and 'learn to play' etc options come up with preview choice/options when clicked but not 'New Project'.
Any ideas anyone?! This is what i've tried so far:
1. i've deleted garageband plists except the one that says "com.apple.garageband.LSSharedFileList.plist" cus i don't know what that one is exactly -
Is it safe to delete it?!
2. repaired permissions
3. Thought about other apps that might be causing probs - uninstalled a Guru drum thing -still no luck-
4. in the library and i can't find 'electric guitar' folder
in any of the application support folders...
5. and wondered - I installed a retail copy of Logic Express 8
so i thought perhaps that was something to do with it...
can't remember if that was around the same time - maybe - but
it's so difficult to use and i'm learning it o so slowly - i really need my faithful ole GB to work
in the meantime!!
Would appreciate any info/ similar experiences, solutions etc,
before i resort to a GB re-install from disc
(if that's possible from the ones that came with the computer, perhaps...???)

This question has driven me crazy, lol, I finally know what the correct answer is. I never us the qwery keyboard since I an use to texting from a flip phone and the qwery keyboards letters are so small I just text from the front keypad. So here is what I found, if you slide out the keyboard you will notice to the left button acts as a soft key and takes you to Message if you click on messaage you can text right from there so I guess its a short cut key and the right button takes you to contacts and that takes to to Favorites and all your contacts. Sorry about the misinformation I gave you last time. I ordered the I user Guide which contains all 292 pages of info and its free for the asking. In that little minnie book they give you with the phone it tells you where to send for it.

Problems creating new project and ringtone

Hello everyone. I recently tried to create a new ringtone using GarageBand v5.0.2 and I ran into a problem. I clicked on iPhone Ringtone on the left hand side but there's nothing on the right and when I click on the Choose button, nothing happens. So I tried to create a new project instead. I clicked on New Project on the left, nothing shows up on the right, and when I click on Choose, nothing happens. Learn to Play, the Lesson Store, and Magic Garageband all seem to be working okay. So does Recent Projects.
Any thoughts as to why this is happening to me? Or offer up a solution, maybe? Thanks in advance.

I just upgraded to the new Photo and find a few things missing. May find more later. My Events are gone. Also, the Albums and Projects that I created that were on the left side tab of iPhoto are now gone. Where are they?

Yes, it's a mess for sure, and I've lost confidence in it for now. First attempt, 5 photos came up missing. Delete and start over, then after second attempt 18 photos go missing. Even one single missing photo is a real confidence breaker for me.
After conversion, and activation of the sidebar, all of my Events were migrated into a single "Photos" Album called "iPhoto Events". Why would I want "legacy" Events segregated into one big Album? What the heck am I supposed to do with that? That's useless if new photos are going to be organized in some other way moving forward. I cannot imagine new photos automatically putting themselves into a new Event inside of the "iPhoto Events" Album... because they won't. I'll be stuck with my old iPhoto Events in this one Album, and the new stuff organized as per Photos. Weird, just weird.
Also, in the "all photos" view, there are dates that are just blank. I think I know why. In iPhoto, I merged various photos into single Events. For whatever reason, within the Library, this left empty folders behind. iPhoto's fault, not mine... I simply dragged & dropped photos to combine Events. Then during Photos import/conversion these empty folders got converted into "blank" days within Photos... this is simply ridiculous. When programming for an import, you'd want to ignore a folder if there are no files inside of it, not convert it into a block of photos that contain no photos. It's nonsensical... you cannot have an iPhoto Event with zero photos, yet that's what was converted over. LOL.
I'm certainly not going to invest the time into cleaning up and moving hundreds of Events and 18,000 photos if Photos can't even do a simple library conversion. Heck, what about the dozens of photos that my iPhone 5S fails to geotag for whatever reason? Can't edit geotags. Can't bulk edit meta data. These are pretty basic functions. Total fail.
I'm going back to iPhoto for a while, hoping Apple eventually cleans up this mess into something usable.

For now, you can try using Ctrl + t to open new tabs if you can't open them otherwise, but try right clicking the tabs bar, clicking "customize," and then in the window that comes up try clicking the "restore default set" button. I don't know if it will work in your case but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Can the "ADD-A-NEW-TAB" button be reconfigured to be adjacent to existing tabs (like it used to be)? I am a left-handed tablet user who finds it's position on the far right side of screen very inconvenient.

In previous version of Firefox, the "add-a-new-tab" button has been located to the right of any existing tabs. In the latest version it's been moved to the far right of the screen. In tablet mode, this is too far to reach conveniently for a left-hander. I cannot find any controls to re-configure it to the way it used to be and I can't "drag" it to where I want it. Is there a way to relocate it?

Thanks. I don't know why it wouldn't just go back there when I tried putting it back? I didn't change anything, so I assumed the new "default" was over on the left. Glad it was a simple solution after all.
