New purchases at the bottom of the "purchased" play list

When I buy music on iTunes on my mac, and syncs to my iPod Touch, the newest tracks are listed at the top of the play list. This is what I want. But, when I buy tracks directly on my iPod Touch, they are added at the bottom of the list which is quite annoying, as all my other new tracks are at the top. Is there a way to solve this problem?
The iPod-purchased songs automatically goes to the top of the list once i sync with my mac again, but that might be for whole weeks i don't sync.

It is a fault with Hotmail caused by people sending you unwanted invitations. Go to Contacts>View Invitations and click No thanks to any unwanted people.

Would like to have an option to clear items from the Recently Played list permanently.
Hidden items reappear as soon as I connect the device to the Internet.

Changing on the go play lists on ipod

I currently have three on the go play lists on my ipod. I would like to delete them but can't find how to anywhere. I have successfully remove them from my i tunes. The users manual is not very specific on this topic. Please help. Thanks.

To delete an 'on the go' playlist from the iPod go to playlists/on the go/clear playlist.
You can only do this if the on the go playlist has not been saved. If it has, you need to delete the playlist from the iPod via iTunes.

Where'd my "on the go" play list go???

Every time I sync my Iphone 3GS to itunes, it wipes out my " on the go" play list! Why? How do I prevent this from happening?

You are right about the songs being copied to the phone only once.
When you have an on-the-go playlist and sync, the playlist is transferred to iTunes as on-the-go 1,2,3, etc., and selected to sync back to the phone. Look in your iTunes list of playlists and you will find it. If you don't want to keep it, just delete the playlist.

Ipod has stopped putting songs into the recently played list, Any ideas Y?

My ipod has stopped counting songs and also now wont put any songs into the recently played playlist and its really annoying- Any ideas on how i can sort this out? I've reset the ipod which has done nothing and i have also updated itunes but again to no avail- Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I am also having this (or a similar) problem. For years I had an Auto Playlist of Podcasts with "Play Count is Zero"/Live updating rules so they were removed each time I synced my iPod after I listened to them. Recently, the Playlist has stopped updating. That is, the podcasts stay in the playlist because the play counts never update. They show in the podcast library with 0 plays no matter how many times I play them on my iPod.
I also noticed that none of songs I play have their playcounts updated in the Library after I play them on my iPod. All the syncing seems to be going one way (from the PC to the iPod and not the other way around). I picked a song with a playcount of 1 and it over and over just to test it out and no dice/no update.
Any clues? Is there a setting I am missing? I tried resetting the iPod.... And the iPod played tunes/casts are also not appearing in the Recently Played list....

In fact, we have to add this field to the structure LIPOV, use the user exit EXIT_SAPLV50Q_001 to get this field. But we must also execute the program BALVBUFDEL to set the system Buffers. Then the field will appear in the list of Hidden fields in the transaction VL06O.

Current implementation (refer to image 1):Items in "Recently Played" list are hideable via the menu button.However, these items come back when you reconnect the device to the Internet (or log into Spotify).In addition, items that are hidden cannot be unhidden until reconnection to the Internet or relogin of Spotify. Proposed implementation (refer to image 2):Replace "Hide" funciton with a "Remove" function.Removes the item permanently (across all devices that is logged into the same account).
"Hide" function can remain as long as there is an option to unhide these items instead of reappearing after reconnecting to the Internet or relogging into Spotify. Additional idea:Remove all Played History, does the same as removing an item, but to all items.

Apple TVs playing the same play list simultaneously

I have two Apple TVs in seperate rooms.Is it possible to play the exact same play list (video or music) simultaneously on both Apple TVs since the content is streamed from the same main I-Tunes library?
It would be a great feature in particular for parties.

If you use itunes and send output to the tv's as external speakers then yes you can do this, but of course this will only work with audio.
It is possible to stream the same tunes/movies etc from two or more tv's at the same time, but you should be aware that they will be two (or more) separate streams and as such I doubt you would be able to manage to do this and keep the streams in sync with each other.

Creating on the go play list on the Iphone

So after making a playlist on the Iphone with the "on the go" feature is there any way you can save it. The last couple of times, I've made a playlist and when I sync it with my computer, it was erase. Now I know on my Ipod, if i can create multiply playlists and save them. On the IPhone, you can only create one playlist from what I've gather. So how does it get save so that that playlist doesn't disappear everything I sync my phone to my PC?

Welcome to the forums.
It should work the same way as the iPod -- namely, when you sync it saves it as "On-The-Go1" and then "On-The-Go2" etc. However, you can only have one "On-The-Go" playlist on your iPhone at any point in time (which means each time you sync the On-The-Go playlist will be erased in your iPhone).
In order to keep the playlist on your iPhone you need to rename it in iTunes (once it's transferred) and then make sure you checkmark this new playlist so it will sync properly to your iPhone.

No, you don't have to reinstall iTunes.
Make a smart playlist where kind = protected, it will be close enough.

New Features for the Zen Mic

So I have been buzzing around this board for the last week or so, reading up on my new Micro. And now that I have figured everything out and gotten the player to work with WMP0 properly (knock on wood) there are a few things that I would suggest to the developers for future versions of the firmware that I have not even seen mentiond. First off, I would like to see the ability to rate my music, I know that this is probably not the most commonly sought after, or even useful feature, but I like to have all my music rated, and the ability to do it right on the player would be nice. The other thing, witch I think of as more of a bug then a new feature, is that the second a song starts to play it adds one to the play count. I think that the play count needs to be updated AFTER the song has finished playing or, if possible, it would be best sometime in the middle of the song. As it is now, if I *accidently* play a song, the play count goes up, even though I stop playback or change the song only a few seconds into it. Another thing that I would like to see improved is the creation of playlists on the device. I know you can save the "Now Playing" list as a playlist, but you can't reorganize the list. I would also like to see some of the other more asked for features, EAX would be nice for instance. I Don't know, just my two cents.

Sounds like something went south in the OS or actual mp3 decoder in the player. I might try a Clean Up in Resuce mode then maybe a Reload OS. You can get into rescue mode by turning off the player and taking out the battery. Push the power switch in the on position and keep it held over while you re-insert the battery. It should boot into Rescue mode. Try a Clean Up. It should display a status % complete and only take a few moments. Try the songs again and see if there's the same problem.
If that doesn't work download firmware v.0.03 and select Reload Firmware via USB.
If either of these things don't work and the source files are clean it might be a bigger problem that might require a replacement.

How do you delete play lists from an iPod that is sharing the same itunes account as your iphone?

Hi, I've just purchased my daughter an iPod Touch, I've registed the iPod on my iTunes account, but now it has all the same play lists that I have on my iPhone - some of the music isn't suitable but I can't delete any of it. Does anybody know how I could delete the playlists - I don't think songs with the f bomb are suitable for 7 year olds!!! Help PLEASE....

You can eventurally set a different Sync scheme for your daughtere's ipod Touch device when it connects to your itunes.
Make sure you click on "Selected playlists" and then choose which playlists you want synced to your daughter's iPod. The rest will be deleted off her device with the next iTunes sync:
